Still Kickin' Sort of...

Hello! Sorry its been a while and I haven't gotten around to comment on many things (pages or artwork). I'd like to thank you guys for still coming by. Thank you! ^^

Well while I've been away I had part of my toenail removed because I had an ingrown nail. The ingrown part didn't hurt as much as everyone thought it would. The removing did hurt. I tried to go to work the day after but ended up getting sent home for just being too pathetic. (It was good anyway I need to sleep.)

Christmas shoppers are out early at work. Alot of people are either trying to get their Christmas shopping done early or cram in a late thanksgiving.

But it has happened the first SNOW of the season has fallen for my area. Not alot just a light dusting but enough to stay on the ground right now. How is your area doing?

Artwise I finished several more pages of Festival. Please give me an opinion if you have the time. (Its my longest running manga to date.)

I'm working on a colored pic for the fanart section for the main two from Festival. After that I have a stack of costume designs for different characters to get through.

Whoo!

My manga Festival got featured on the bottom of the front page! Its been a long time since anything I made got featured. And nothing on the front page. (Now that I said that it will probably be changed for something else.) Its also my first featured manga and first manga that reached 15 viewers favorited. ^^ Wish I knew who they were.

Well that is the best news I've had (besides you guys coming to visit) in a few days.

Anyway that is all I have to say. What is your good news of the day,week or month?

Stress and Busy

Well it has come to that time of the year at work. Christmas shoppers are out earily this year which mean the staff at work has been put to work sooner. The new manager that we got at work is starting to have her patience wore thin. I don't know what is going to happen when it wears out. Her and the assitant manager already don't get along that well.

At home hasn't been that much fun either. My mom asked my father about moving overseas. This lead to alot of 'heated' discussions, not all of them about the actual move, going on for a few days.

Tv wise I cought last nights Avatar. Wow! I didn't think they would take water bending that far. I love that did. That is how far I always wanted to take water manipulation. I wonder how its going to be important later on.

Art wise.. Still working on the next batch. A couple pages of Festival and Jinna's costume design. (I have a lot of costume designs for Akai to do too.)

So now that you have survived that boring post I'll leave you with a few questions-

1. What does it take for you to look at someone's fanart or wallpaper?

2.Do you like stories where someone (or most of the cast) die by the end?

3. What is your favorite holiday icon? (reindeer, penguin, snowman,turkey, shopping that type of thing)

Sorry I've been a bit out of it recently. And things have only gotten a bit more confusing. plus tiring.

But in it all I managed to finish a picture I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Please comment on it if you have time.

I hope that everyone lived through the Otakuolypse well. And be careful with writers on strike in the U.S. live action American tv may go down for a while. (Last strike was 22 weeks.) If the strike continues the tv will be ruled by reruns, animation, and reality tv.

I'm working on my Festival manga and a colored picture related to it.

Well since I can't think of anything else how about a question and we leave it at that.

Would you rather live in a world ruled by peguins or manga artists?

Not quite gone yet

Well things have been a little bit busy on my end and I've been sick alot recently. Despite that I've made a trip to Maine for a meeting for my sister, went to a near-by Reanacciance Festival with the family, had a couple store meetings, the shelf in my new closet fell and wrecked the closet, got a few more mangas and managed to get a through an art block to do a couple pictures.

I'm tired and achy

Well things are almost entirely in place in my room now. I don't think it is going to take alot more for me to be done in there. (Which means that I'm already leaving things on the floor instead of picking them up.)

Otherwise things are getting a little rough right now and computer time limited so I won't be around lot. (Not that I have been around much lately away. Frankly I'm surprised anyone remembers me.) I am trying to get some artwork done for when I can get at the scanner again.
I did make a link for my Festival manga so it would be easier to check when I do up date it. But for now here is a couple links to my recent updates-

I'm lazy so it happened twice

Yes it happened twice. I have not commented in such a while that I got tagged by two people! So SadAngel and LemurianPrince here you go. The 8 random tag thing.

The rules are:

Just a little more

Hello! Been a little bit hasn't it. I want to say sorry if I leave weird or confused messages on anything. I'm not sleeping well and trying to move back into my room. (Yes I'm moving back in. Since April I've been sleeping in another room. Now in August I stand a chance of moving completely back in before September.)

I did manage to finish some pages for my manga. I'd appreciate any comments anyone feels like leaving on it. ^^

Next on my list is to work on Wowie's prize. Than I'll see how things are to determine what I can handle next.

So that is what is up with me. How about you?

Things are a bit better

Well I'm just going to break this down into sections because I'm not sure how else to organize my thoughts.

Health wise- The coughing is getting better though still there. It seems to just be a new thing that is going to keep happening and I'm just going to have to learn to deal with it. (My boss doesn't want me to scare her like that again.)

Art wise- I'm trying to keep going with a new project. I've started another manga on here.

For some reason I have trouble making the links to fanmanga section work so that is the address to my new one. (Opinions appreciated! And thanks to those who have already found it.)

I am going to work on Wowie's prize (sorry its so late). And thinking about doing a single portrait of a couple of my ocs in a different outifts after a few more things.

Off line- My room is still being a pain. The second layer of flooor paint went on and it was a mess. My mom is taking me rug shopping this weekend. Than we can move things back in. (Than I'll spend forever getting things back together blah blah blah.)

Questions- I can't really think of any today so how about you guys ask one or so and I'll answer them next time?

Odd shift end

Well I haven't been feeling well the last few days and having trouble with my arm only made me more annoyed. When I was leaving work today I punched out and started coughing. Well the deal is that I was coughing so bad I feel onto the ground and was tearing up. My boss almost called the ambulance on me. I did go the Urgent Care room (like an emergency room but more afforable) and they said I had an accurate coughing attack. Meaning the stupid runny nose almost made me cough till I passed out. (My boss was happy I didn't do that. ^^)

But I'm a good bit better now. And since work on my room has been delayed a week or so I'm looking forward to working on some other projects. ^^
