Songbird's Sonnet

Songbird walked into a small room. Scar was behind her. "Was your husband an alchemist too?" Scar asked.
"Yes. He was actually the one who taught me most of my alchemy. And before you ask no that wasn't how he made that garden. He only used alchemy to figure out how it worked," Songbird answered. She put the basket of vegetables down on a table. Songbird changed her shirt into a large white shirt like she gave Scar. "He wanted to be able to help people that did not use alchemy. That way they could maintain gardens on their own," Songbird continued to explain. She was removing the side pouches and her pants. The shirt she had on was so large that it covered her almost to her knees.
"What I don't understand is that you seem embarrassed when you see me naked but change infront of me without a second thought," Scar said.
"Well alot of people have seen my body Scar," Songbird said while touching her right shoulder. "Infact if I remember correctly you were the one that told me to put some clothes on before I walked around in my underwear," Songbird playfully reminded.
"Than why are you so shy about seeing my body?" Scar asked curiously.
"Because the only other man I've seen entirely naked like that was my husband," Songbird said. She placed her forearm bracers on the table next to her pouches. She took the purple ribbon out of her hair allowing it come casscaiding down her back. Songbird turned around and sat down on one of the two beds in the room. She waited a few moments to see if Scar would say anything. "Ask the question that you want to Scar. I can see that your thinking about it," Songbird said leaning back on her hand.
"How did he die?" Scar asked.
"Gun shot. He was standing between another officer and a patient. He always believed that war should never enter the hospital doors," Songbird said. "I don't know who shot first or what really happened. But I know that he tried to do what he thought was best. He was stubborn that way. And a horrible soldier because of it," Songbird added.
"Where were you?"
"He sent me to get some supplies. I was right outside the door when the gunfire started," Songbird said. "Now Scar I have a question for you."
