Yes I am alive

bleh...

Well am now single AGAIN! Is getting me down, friends are being supportive though. It makes me feel better knowing that there are people out there who care for me when i'm moaping about like a little girl. I just hope I'm feeling more cheerfull tomorrow as I'll be 20!

Was not really looking forward to my birthday this year as because my uni starts so late no one is back in York and all my friends at home have left for fresher's week. However I text round people i thought could make it and i was supprised to find that not only people could come but they seemed to look forward to it, I've even got some of the staff in my department interested, and afew friends from home are coming too!

It's not gonna be much, just a trip down town ending in a nightclub but with the people who care about me ^_^ I think about 20 people are gonna be there, this is quite shocking for me in my insecure state of mind right now.

Anyways I won't babel on anymore, sorry I havent been on in ages, even when I'm near a computer I haven't really wanted to talk to anyone. I'll be fine, these things take time i guess.

Still no internet and other tales

Grrr the girls still havent' sorted out the internet or phone in the house yet, and i can't because, well have i no phone and internet and theyre the ones with the joint account! I can't really blame them, we need to know the number of the house and no one seems to know it or contact us telling us what it is... grrrrr and they're all miles away living at home at the moment.

Okay so that's why I haven't been on in ages and why i still haven't changed my theme or anything, i'm kind off stuck really and the library that has wireless isn't open very often as it's the holidays.

On the film I mentioned in the last post, atonement, they're now filming and my dad and a friend are extras in it, all with their hair cut and WW2 army uniforms. The set which is on the beach looks amazing, really proffesional, and they got 1000 extras there yesterday, will hopefulyl pop up today and see a bit of the action, apparently Kira knightly might be making an apperance for a scene today, and my friend who works in pub says he served the other main guy who was in it, can't remember his name but he was Mr Tumnus in Narnia (the goat guy with the tea and cakes). I shall be putting pictures up when i can get them off my phone.

I want to thank people for their kind words and support with my break-up *hugz everyone* and as i said, I'm not often single for very long... and well, the same thing happened again lol ^_^ There's this guy on my course (possibly best looking guy) who always steals my hat and anyways we'd taken to a serious poke war on facebook (yes i'm addicted) so anyway he knew that i was in York and said a friend of his was having a pool party and wanted to drag me their. SO I thought hell yes! Never been to a pool party before. We then found out he's living opposite me next year. o_O kinda scary but there was some serious flirting at the party and he eventually confessed his undying love for me (go me!) in other words he said that he thinks I'm hot, which is good enough for me ^_^.

So Blink has a hot new boyfriend YEY! Although I was looking forward to being single for a while *sigh* ah well t'wasn't meant to be.

Okay *rolls sleaves up* I'm gonna try and get round everyone that i've missed for one reason or another while i'm still at my parents. as I go back to York tomorrow and there'll be no net for me for a while i'm guessing (but hope not) so take care everyone.

Atonement

You know I'm away for five weeks and I get back and my town looks like it's been bombed... This is what happens when I leave the country, it falls apart. Okay, not really, but the sea front does look like it has being bombed and I'm not exagerating. Some movie company is preparing to film some part of a film, probably based on the Ian McEwan book by the same name Atonement. Apparently staring Kira Knightly and based around WW2 I think. My beach apparently looks exactly like Dunkirk in France which got bombed during the war and it has all the industrial works that they want in the background. Sounds really cool and my dad is gonna be an extra in it which is awsome. I would have gone for it but they're mainly looking for male extras so I figure there's no chance. And I can't be bothered, I'm sure dad will take lots of photos anyways.

Hmmm other news... ah not too good really, my boyfriend had been doing some thinking when i was away... not good... and decided it wasn't working.. as I said, not good... really upset me at first but I guess I new it wasn't working also. I definatly liked him more than he liked me. So I'm single again, lets see if this lasts longer than a week and a half lol I don't know what it is with me, I always feel like I need someone there with me, and if I like someone I have, so far, always got them. This is probably a bad thing as I haven't been single in ages and now I feel all dependant >_< which isn't good for someone who is nearly 20. But anyways, we are going to remain friends and he is going to reformat my computer when he gets back to York and sort out the woreless connection in my house (hehehe it pays to have geeky friends *evil cackle*)

Anyways, funny Greece stories... Well we had some crazy people working there. One of the guys on the layout team (Mike) was more afraid of cicadas than me. And they are everywhere in Greece and the groves that we were walking were very low so the cicadas were all around you all day making that horrible rattling noise. (just to say that I had never heard of these bugs in my entire life and to think that everyday these bastards who are 10 times bigger than any insect in the UK, dive bombed me and then pissed on me everyday) The last few days I was helping him layout the grids for the fieldwalking and a load of the stakes broke so we decided to use them as weapons against the evil cicadas. Man that was fun I recomend cicada wacking for the whole family to avenge the month of them flying into me and screaming in my ear.

Okay, since the friends list is down I can again only visit people who have visited me so when it's up I shall hopefully get around more people.

Blink is Back!

Hey people!!! Miss me? ^_^ Missed you all anyways. Had so much fun and made lots of new friends. I'm not even gonna try and put it all on a post lol but I've got lots of funny stories I might share at some post in the futur anyways.

Hope you are all having a nice summer, heat wave in the UK at the moment (still a nice cool break from what I've been used to lol) I need to change my theme to something more summery but I figured I'd do that on my laptop when I get back to my house at university.

I'm afraid I have to appologise for not getting round everyone before i left, the taxi came and well, that was it really. I wrote down everyone who i had to visit however my planner is in my house in York and I'm at home right now, and even when i get to York next week there is no internet -_- and I can't sort that out untill my bf comes back from Sweden and tells me which one to go with (he knows all in te computer world). So yeah i'm just gonna try and get on everyday and visit people who have updated and stuff untill then.

Started watching school Rumble, man it's sooo funny, all should watch! Nothing else really as well... GREECE!!! :p

Right I'm off now gonna visit people!

Off to Greece!

Okay as most of you know already tonight is the night!I'm all packed and the taxi comes in afew hours, I'm sooo tired I hope I sleep on the train and the plane... and at the airport, infact whenever I can, I'm with friends who won't let me miss anything so that's okay...

OKay so why am I so tired? well I went on a boatcruise last night with my college, most of our block went and some of the guys went in a tux! However I think my bf looked extra cute in his black suit with white tie lol. We were given free entry into a nightclub after which was sooo fun but i didn't get back till 4am. It was seriously bright outside quite bad, and I've been up all day packing alsorts as I have to remove everything from my room also >_< thank god my parents are helping me out.

The only other thing I've done this week is the Archaeology dept. summer party which was also awsome as lecturers were there also, drunker than the students and dancing worse than my dad. Got lots of photos =p It's so strange seeing people that are really respected, write books and are on history programs have to be dragged home by their wives because they can hardly walk straight. Gotta love Martin Carver lol what a legend!

anyways gonna go visit as many ppl as i can sorry if i don't get round you i'm sooo tired!

soooooo hot

It's not usual anywhere in england, it's like humid and yukky and as it's never this hot, nowhere has air conditioning. I spent a whole day in a classroom and opening the window didn't really make much differnce...

As I was so ill last week I decided to go home as I wasn't doing anything useful at uni and at least I'd get fed properly lol. When I returned I brought my car up so me and some Archaeology friends went to the beach and had a BBQ we also had a look round a castle on the way. Was fun but really tiring as I drove all day, so worth it though.

Not much else really exept Greece is getting close and I'm now stayong for nearly 5 weeks! So yeah don't expect to see me any time after the 23rd june for 5 weeks. I will return however. Oh yeah and I'm going to Alton Towers on Wednesday which is really awsome theme park with fast rides (which I love) so I've got something to look forward to there ^_^

uuuuuggggghhhh....

Nope it's not a new zombie film, it's Blink with a cold... Why? grrrr

Went round the York Archaeological Trust Labs today and man was that boring, if I see another bit of roman leather I'm gonna frek out! Our group then went out to eat and decided not to return for the rest of the day, i opjected as they may notice that our whole group was missing, but alas they carried me away not wanting anyone to return and give away their scheme lol kinda glad as when I got back I felt like crap... and still do *sniff*

okay, I promised the trench, i give you the trench...



Watched Steamboy the other day, was really amazingly animated, the stroy was lacking a bit in places but worth a peak, (if only for patrick stuart).

okay I'm gonna go visit as many ppl as i can now before i collase again on my bed...

Long weekend

Well it was really, I've only been back afew hours as it was the bank holiday weekend so I went home on the friday night and came back today with my family and showed them round the campus n stuff they all had fun anyways. Oh yeah, wasn't actually supposed to be off today, how unfair is that? Everyone else gets it off >_< but anyways decided that i never skive so took it off anyways ^_^

Man the uni got so flooded last week, in some areas the water was 2 foot deep! no joke, I coun't get across the road. And the river in York is still totally flooded and all the shops along the banks are flooded too! Although they are used to this so they just take all the furnature out... yep well that's what i get for living in the most flooded city in britain lol.

Not much else really... more digging... lol I'm gonna post a pic of the trench so you can see how in the middle of no where I really am loli know afew of the guys have some from on the top of the hill which will be better as you can see the whole thing and all the strange makings where buildings once were... well i think it's kinda interesting... so watch this space!

Went to see X3 also, go watch it! And if you have time then go see the Davinci Code. Iam McKellen is awsome in it. In both in fact!! lol

can't be bothered writing much else really hmmmm well I'll be visiting people untill my bf come up and then we are watching steamboy. so I'll let you guys know what I think of it later!

Not much else really, got really hailed on today and got soaked, there was about 2 inch of water in the buckets in about 20 minutes, and then i got sun burnt... wtf? The Yorkshire Wolds have a climate of there own, it was nice on campus all day... ¬_¬
