I just got all my accomodation stuff from york that I need to fill out YEY!!! And I'm going on a guided tour of the place on tuesday XD



I'm really annoyed at the moment as I have a leavers concert coming on the 9th of sept with the Youth orchestra and the organizer has made way too many rehersals I have one on monday, that's the BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY where all my family is off so I cna't go anywhere with them. Then on the tuesday which I'm gonna have to miss (he's not gonna be happy) and then on the wednesday and the times are 9-12 and 1-4 so an hour brake that's insane, 6 hours of rehersals, we don't need that! GRRRRRRRRRR!!! Does he think we have no life or something? When I say that I can't make tuesday he'll be saying "well, your gonna be there for the next three years so you'll have plenty of time to look round" even though the uni have told me to go >_<

Okay *breaths* I'm calm now...



I can't believe I've seen the whole of DN Angel, I've read the first manga book and it is really differnt, I wanna get the rest as I have a feeling I'll enjoy them more.

Oh yeah for any Coyboy Bebop fans who haven't read any of the manga there are afew out there with totally different stories that go along with the anime that you should check out, I just found this out the other day, as I thought they were just the same story so I never bothered checking *sigh*

I'm gonna head round your sites tomorrow when I wake up, sorry it's just so late, I normaly post then visit everyone, but not tonight, I just won't read any of it =/

I've been away because I've been so busy, I stayed another night at the creepy old house and have been out a lot round town.

Sice I've been to loads of Village shows round the North Yorkshire over the summer I have decided to do a relly sarcastic guide to them that you might find amusing, this will however make the post very long (it won't help that I've made the border 350 pixlels wide either lol. If your too tired or just don't like reading you can skip this, the humour is really dry and proably not that funny anyways lol. So enjoy... or not... whatever ^_^

General rules and advice for attending North Yorkshire Shows

Getting There

This is not too hard once you’ve been down the wrong windy road, driven into a field, gone down the unmarked road that can only fit one care down (I don’t know what would have happened if a big jeep had come the other way (all farmers either have land rovers or jeeps)), pulled over into a farm, looked at the map and realised that the first windy road was the right one and you shouldn’t have turned off it. Got back onto the right road and headed for the car park/ rented field.

Getting Parked

If it rains you will have to dig your car out, but be ensured that your surrounded by the farming community and they all own tractors and probably have a pony or two (mre on the pony matter further on)

Getting In

Although this may seen the easiest, it has never been so far as far as my wallet has been concerned, it’s too bloody expensive, now I can’t afford anything with a novelty sheep on to bring home… Stingy “£$%^&*(!

What many people like to call Sod’s Law

If you bring sun cream, it will rain
If you bring waterproofs it will be sunny
If you bring both it will be dry and stuffy with no sun
If you try to be smart and bring neither you will be walking knee deep in mud and burn your shoulders

In a nutshell, the weather is against you, you cannot outsmart it and it will attempt to spoil your day. But that doesn’t matter because all local people are used to this weather all year round.

The Animals

All village shows are packed with competition for best breads of all agricultural livestock and anything horse related (i.e. show jumping and ‘what-not’)

Sheep

You will learn very quickly that there are more breads of sheep than anyone would dare to guess, this would make those sleepless nights even harder when you now cannot just count sheep, you have to consider what bread of sheep they are, whether they will have been sheered and what region they are being counted in… this does not help you sleep, it just stresses you out even more…

Horses

Wow! There are some big horses out there, I mean huge! And there are so many different competitions for them, one has yet to actually buy the lousy over-priced program after running out of money at the gate but I’m guessing that the title go something like this: Most scariest horse, Most cuddliest horse, Best horse personality of the year, etc…

Ponies

Very similar to the horse guide they differentiate when it comes to fun pony games which are admittedly very cute to watch, although one cannot help but get slightly jealous of the kids riding the ponies with their rich parents who are able to afford to buy their child a pony. Some of them get quite upset when they don’t win; you’ve got a freakin’ pony! As far as I can see you’ve already won all my Christmas presents put together!

Cows/Bulls

Well they shampoo and condition them up just like all the other animals, I’ve never known of a cow smell so nice in my life! And on the Bull note: O_O that’s one big cow… errr I mean bull you got there…

Rabbits and Guinea Pigs

They’re cute and cuddly and all deserve a prize simply for being cute, I could stay in this tent all day ^_^


Tractors

They are new, old and antique, and if it’s a big enough field they do a synchronized presentation to music, what could be better?


The Craft Stalls

[NOTE] If you are eating an ice cream and happen to stumble into the WI (Women’s Institute, you know, Calendar Girls) you will be kicked out by a scary old woman with a sash!

The craft stalls are what I find the most interesting, especially the fudge store. However that is all I can now afford as it cost too must to get in. The sheep mugs and hand made jewellery are going to have to wait until I can afford a pony

Getting Home

If it had been a day of rain and mud you can guarantee the sun will come out as you are heading or your car. This journey will also take an extra half an hour due to the constant flow of tractor and horse boxes that are holding up the traffic for at least a third of your way home. Just sit back and enjoy the view, and block out the beeping with some heavy metal car music, a perfect way to end your day.

hellooooo! ^_^ squeeeeeee! Watching DN Angel last night, it's getting interesting... I think me and my bro are up to ep 19 XD sooo exiting!



I stayed over at a friends last night... well not exactly... My friend Sam is house sitting for a friend fpr two weeks, watering the plants and feeding the animals. It's a really big house that like 500 years old o_o the rooms are all huge and they have two really cute cats ^_^ and I'm guessing that she doesn't really wanna be left alone there on a night either cuase it would be pretty scary lol so I'm very happy to keep her company, and I think I'm staying over tonight aswell, I'm having so much fun!

I know that nearly all final fantasy lovers have seen this but it must be posted at some point... just incase lo ^_^ so enjoy

Hey, how are you all? I'm doing fine, kinda tired, I had a BBQ with all my friends round last night it was fun as we're all going to uni, exept one who is doing another year at college (I don't think I could stand another year there personally, it's nice to move on ^_^) I'm gonna miss them all so much, there's about 8 of us who've been together for about 5 years now, it's gonna be so strange. My two closests friends are going opposite ends of the country, one to London (to vetenary college)and one to Glasgow =/ and the other girl in our group is engaged and moving into a flat about two hours away :( but it's her 18th today so I'm off round her house for another big party, kinda tiring as people didn't leave my house till after midnight last night.

Oh yeah just to get this cleared up, the University I'm going to is York University, it's not New York, in the US it's York in England, New York was named after this city, hence the name, New York. ^_^ it's a really cool place and if you've seen Howl's Moving Castle, the town where it open's on looks just like it, they even have a Betty's Tea Rooms which sells cakes and chocolates (I think Miyazaki has been there because it's just so similar, I think the film was based on a English novel aswel) I'm really hyped anyways, the building that I will be studying in is a medieval building called Kings Manor, it all looks really posh XD lol here's a picture of an inner courtyard...

I'm sick of being in cues on the phone and ringing up places all over the country but it's all over now ... :)

I got the stuff today, like the clearing form and I'm gonna go with York, it's ranked 6th in the uni tables and Aberdeen isn't even in the top 20 and everyone is like, "OMG you got an offer from York O_O" which is always good to hear lol ^_^ It is one of my favourite places however full of tourists it is :) I need to go and find stamps and stuff now but I feel a lot better I've ended up going to a better Uni than I'd applied for and their typical offer for Archaeology is ABB or AAB and I only got BBCC so I'm feeling kinda luck and maybe fate is telling me something and English is not for me. I can still write and read all I want anyways ^_^ And my parents are so pleased that I'm gonna go to york, that's always a bonus lol

The terms start in October so I've got an even longer break yey! ^_^ I've visited most sites so cya around :) *waves*

Okay well as you've figured I didn't do as well as I'd hoped, in fact, i really messed up. I got BBCC so Glasgow turned me down >_< so I've spent all day crying and calling up universities begging for any free spaces. So my head hurts from panicing and crying a lot.

However all is not lost. I've got afew offers, two in particular stand out, one from Aberdeen in Scotland, they've offered me a place for English which is what I wanted and they've said I can skip the first year. And York University (which is up there with Oxford and Cambridge, and better than Glasgow) have given me a place for Archeaology, which is really good although wasn't my first choice subject.

Sooo.... I'm tied between doing English miles away, at a not so good Uni and going to do Archeaology at a famous Uni... I need to decide by tomorrow when I fill in the form >_< I'm edging towards York at the moment, it's closer, a friend os going there, I know the place really well, it's cosmopolitan and it's been invaded by the Romans, the Vikings and god knows who else so there's lots of finds round there... but Aberdeen is in "bonny Scotland" and it's English... but I can read without doing English and I can go all over the world if i go to york...

Well you can see how stuck I am, I'll have to sleep on it, I don't know if I'll get round your sites I'm really in shock at the moment and constantly bursting out into tears so maybe tomorrow... i'll see how I'm feeling. I just want to thank you all so much for your support, reading through your comments made me smile so thanks ^_^

This time tomorrow I'll know what I've got I don't know whether to laugh or cry, but if I don't post what I've got tomorrow, you can probably guess that I've not done as well as I've been hoping... I just wanna screem >_< I've waited two months for these grades! When I joined the Otaku I was jus starting them... that's how long! o_o

Yesterday I did nothing much, I watched an episode of rurouni kenshin which I seemed to be cused with, every time I put it on the phone rings or the dinner's ready or something else which prevents me from seeing it all the way through in one piece O_o the phone rang twice this time. I also watched some Full Metal Panic, I haven't seen all of the first series yet (I accidently saw the second before the first) I'm up to episode 19 now, I was sure I was further on than that last time I checked =/ oh well. I think I'm gonna watch some Escaflowne today, I'm falling behind with that lol ^_^

I went to see The Island last night, it was really good, it's a shame it's not doing that well, so if you have some free time (and money lol ) go see it, it reminded me a bit of Logan's Run. And Ewan Macgegor is... well I'll just leave it at that ^_^ *swoons* lol

I'm gonna leave you with something entertaining... oh and I'll get round all your sites some time today, I don't think I can do it now as my dad is complaining that Im spending too long on the computer =/ maybe I am but...

Well I had some free time and worked with a border, and it worked ^_^ just luck I think I'm really bad with html lol. So as long as I don't post up big pics it should all be readable. YEY!



I am so tired, I'm worrying more than ever about my results even though worrying isn't gonna help one bit. The last two nights I've only had four hours sleep. I've just been lying awake in bed kinda annoyed that I'm tired and not going to sleep *cries* =/

I've been away for a while because I was in Darlington (as I said in my last post it think) then York yesterday then this place called Brimham Rocks today. I've been trying to keep busy to get it off my mind, but then I'm not sleeping so I'm really worn out. o_o York was fun anyways... we went on a ghost hunt and the tour person was really funny, I really enjoyed it. and then Brimham Rocks is this place where there's lots of really big rocks left by the ice ages or something, so I've been climging or driving most of the day. Fun but not exactly helping in the sleep department =/

Oh yeah and I just made a new FMP wallpaper, if you watch the series, I think you'll find the picture funny if you would like to check it out ^_^ I'm gonna go work on the quiz now, hopefully I can email it tonight and then it'll be a week before it's up. I think it will get put up, it's quite fun to take I think ^_^

I went out shopping to the Metrocentre at Newcastle with my mother last night, it was fun and I have new clothes from FCUK and River Island and some TUK shoes yey :D We went in the new part, it's really posh lol we couldn't get round it all, it's like the biggest shopping centre in europe, it even has a mini theme parc in it o_o When we worked out how much mam had spent on me it was nearly £100!!! O_O I didn't mean to spend all her money, I don't think she'll wanna take me out in a while anyways *sigh*

Going for a mouch round Darlington today with my oldest friend Abby I'm setting off in an hour so I'd better start doing my hair soon. I need to get a present for a friend whose birthday is the 22nd.

I've been working in a FMP quiz, well two actually since there are so many characters i thought I'd do a Mithril quiz and a fumoffu quiz with al the school characters, I'm finding it had to get any info on some of the characters though, so I'll have to start from scratch, it's nice when sites have bios on all the characters cause then it confirms their personalities hmph... so if anyone knows any good fumoffu sites with character bios I'd appreciate it if you linked me or something ^_^



I feel like I'm gonna explode >_< it's less than a week till I get my results and I found out that the uni already knows what I've got *cries* I'm just so goddamn nervous every other thought is of opening that envelope *shudders* we're all starting to get those dreams where it's the day and the paper say U (ungraded) all the way down the page I just want to scream really load and hide, I want to make time go faster. *makes waving hand movement in a despret attempt to speed up time* okay I'll stop sulking now. I hope your all enjoying your holidays or work or new school year, and making lots of new friends ^_^

I'm so tired... my eyes hurt I'm so tired and it's only half seven, I need to get a cup of tea or something... *goes to boil the kettle* oh yeah thanks for all your comments on my new theme *hugz all* I've decided to leave it as it is, I may tint it a bit so the writing is more readable but I can't be bothered right now =/

I've been really busy lately, on Monday I went to the cinemas to see a preview of a new film, I get free tickets for me and a guest because I'm a member and we have to review it and fill in a form at the end so they cinema can say if it was recommended, we're not told what the film is untill we go in, last film was Man on Fire so I decided to not take my mam but to take my friend Sam (girl Sam, not my brother) and my bf who's also a member took a guy called Rolo (Sam and Rolo used to be a couple but that's another story they're all fine now ^_^) Turns out the film was Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightly (I think I've spelt her name wrong) It was great so if you guys have a chance to see it you must ^_^



And today me and Sam went to the Danby Show, where they have crafts and horse shows n stuff. Oh yeah and they have games with poneys, one of them was musical poles where they they had to ride round in a cirlce and when the music stopped dismount and run the the centre to grab a pole and they took one away each time. It was sooooo cute ^_^ . Oh yeah and the usuall flocks of sheep and cows. We had to ride over the moors to get there, sheep are really silly they randomly jump out infront of your car >_< or they decide to sit (or take a nap) in the middle of the road O_o why...?

So then I came back and I went with my dad and brother to see my grandparents and now I'm home and holding a hot cup of tea ^_^

I'm gonna try and get round your sites tonight but I feel I'll have to finish in the morning or something so sorry if I don't get round to everyone tonight ^_^
