Took the psats today. I don't know why seeing how they don't count for anything till next year. I think I did okay on everything but the writting comprhension part. I suck at figuring out if a comma needs to go somewere or if a word is mispelled ect. My friend sitting next to me was freeking out. I reminded him that is was just practice but he said he wasn't prepared. The guy has been studing for the sats/psats sence 8th grade and I haven't even started thinking about studing. he says he realy needs to get in a good school (particuraly john hopkens) and needs a scalirship but honestly hes one of the smartest people I know. He was spouting off random facts about how just getting one question wrong would take off so many points and such. I need to pay more attention to this stuff cause I had no idea if the amount being taken of was alot or a little. I pointed out to him that not alot of people would get all the questions right and it doesn't matter how well you did just how well you did in relation to everyone else. He then started ratteling off a list of people he knew he thought would do better then him and when my name came up I was sitting there like uhhh yeah your going to do so much better then me on any standerdized test. He took the sats last year in 9th grade 9th grade and got an 1100. Thats on the new sat and he had only studied on the old one. Then he kept on mentioning how asians were not considered a minority anymore so he couldn't relie on afermitive action to help. Okay, the guy does not need afermitive action to get into coledge. Well thats my little rant on how stupid tests take over peoples lives and its not realy worth it.

Ohhh something else. In chem today someone had written all over the guy a few seets away from mes desk. I know thats not weird but I mean the same person had written a realy long almost letter that covered half the desk. It was in aribic to. Sara tryed to read some off it but its like spanish you know were the two languages have the same letters but are differnt. She knew enough though to figure out it was aribic and a word here and there.
