Okay this is going to be one of those long posts so I'll brake it up into sections. If you get bored the you can skip ahead to when I talk about something new.

Homecomming
Homecomming was saturday. I whent with nicole and donna. It was alot of fun. Errrggg my dad was so embaracing though. I told him I'd meet him in front of the school at 11 30 and even brought a cell phone so he could call me if something happened. It was the last song so I decided to stay all of the extra 2 minutes for it to finish and that way nicole donna and I could leave together. I hear do you whant to dance turn around and see my dad. About 15 seconds later after a bit of cussing (I was surpririesed) I asked him what he was doing. He pointed to his watch and said its 11 31 you said you'd be out at 11 30. 11 31! You have got to be kidding me. Later he said he also whanted to see what was happening. Its a school dance there all the same. Thats no reason to do that. I didn't see anyone elses parents come busting through the doors when there kid was a minute late and besides he isn't exactly the picture of puncuality. In fact you always add at least half an hour to the time he says he'll be someplace. I swear he was just looking for an exuse to come in and say he caught me doing drugs or making out in a dark corner with a strange guy I never met before or something. Stupid over bearing never trusts me... Okay well at least he let me go. Neither steph or michelles parents let them go cause they were afraid they would get drunk or something. What is with parents and irrationel fears. Again its a school dance. If they were going to an after party later that at least makes a little sence but again its a school dance.

NSL Class
My teacher for nsl (nationel state and local gov) is so...you'd think shes a student. Its not a bad thing. Its just she looks so young and the way she talks you'd think shes 16 or 17. We got into class today and she was talking about homecomming. Said something like "Oh my gosh I whent to homecoming and I saw so many of you! I was with my boyfriend and I kept on pointing out my students. And going like look that boy in the blue shirt over there is in my class. And he say Katie they all have blue shirts on. I also got to see some of my students were going out with my each other and I didn't know. I thought maybe you guys were just good friends but then at the end of the night I saw you all making out in the corner and I new you were going out." Shes a great teacher I just thought the way she said it was so funny and made her seem so young.

Books
Michelle Steph and I were in the school library this morning looking at the new books and the libriarian came up and asked us if we needed anything. Michelle for some reason suddently asked if they had any manga. Well the librarian said no but she had just ordered some. This got us all interested so I asked what titles. She said she doesn't remember and doesn't realy no much about manga but got some sugestions from another librarian from a different school whos realy into grafic novels. She then said that sence we were interested if we wrote down any titles and put them in the sugestion boxs thered be a good chance she could get them because there in the middle of ordering books and have a 1000 dollers left over that they need to spend by the end of the week. So, if we have any sugestions we should write them down but to make sure there school apropriate. I found this interesting but I wasn't overly exited but Michelle and step were so happy. They spent all of lunch writting down manga and other books they whanted to get. I swear they had a pile of paper an inch think by then end. Though we spent awile trying to figure out what was school apropriate for the manga sence the librarian didn't know much about it and if we sugested something she deemed offensive she might not listen to sugestions or get anymore. I pointed out some of the more violent and graphic things in the library but steph pointed out no pictures so thats different. We decided to be safe not to recomened anything that you know the warning labels on the back that say older teen and such not to recomened anything that wasn't sutible for at youngest a 13 year old. I hope that made sence so basicaly books that say there suitable for 13 plus or younger.

Oprah
Okay we watched oprah in health today. It was a show on ecstacy. Parts were realy funny. For example when ever oprah talked about parties she'd go "teens would go to large nonstop parties at night called raves" They were never just raves or parties always "nonstop parties called raves"

Birthday
My mom's not going to be here for my birthday so she held a semi surprise pary for me. Semi cause I was knew it would happen just not when and it was a full blown party just a cake and exuse to envite people over and give me presents. Val(my sister jen's friend) gave me a realy pretty set of earings she made herself. Mom got me tickets to something. Jen already took me to the metalica concert hugs jen several times explaiming that i love her very very much. Metalica rules. Chip (moms boyfriend) got me a bunch of stuff including a book about writting by stephen king. Gwen (moms friend) and Emma (her daughter meaning basicaly it was Gwens gift with emmas named attached) was a gift certificate to borders. YAy money to buy manga with. And someone got me a blockbusters card though I'm not sure what I'm going to use it for sence I never realy rent movies. I let other people do that and watch it with them. Those were all my presents and its not even my birthday yet. I'm not having a party so I'm willing to bet my friends will have a small surprise one for me (they always do) and then I have to go to dinner with dad MArigerite (his girlfriend) and there kids. Man, my mom says she thinks my life is to compartmentalized and looking at this she might be right. Anyway the party, basicaly I spent the entire time talking to jen (my sister) and val (her friend) about homecomming and letting them remenice a bout when they were in highschool and talking about fanfiction. Val gave me a few good sites and authors for that. So yeah that was my weekend, very bissy.
