the loner vs. his loved one
and so kai stared out at nothing. gazing unconciously at anarchy, he held his breath. 'i can't do this' he thought. 'i can't beat her. i won't beat her.'
an had gotten a bit ticked off when blade came off the stage, acting so nonchalant about losing. she never lost, and neither would her team. 'i'll make this up for you now blade,' she hissed. 'but next time, i expect you to be ruthless.'
so now the two opponents stood on the stage. one was a loner. the other was the girl he loved. but this wasn't a time for emotions to cloud your desire to win. 'maaybe' kai thought. 'just maybe, if i win, i can get her to start to like me.'
so the two started their battle. kai wanted anarchy. anarchy wanted to win. nothing would stop either of them. 'delios, attack' an screamed. her blade did as told and hit kai's head on. 'well kai, have anything you want to say?' she asked in the harshest way possible. he shook his head. 'nothing what so ever,' he replied.
anarchy bit diwn on her lower lip. 'darn' she cursed under her breath. 'has he really figured out my style that fast? if so, i haven't given him enough credit.' but that small sentence had given her a slight advantage. the quetion was, would it be enough of one?
