broken promise
while i sit here, wondering about you, you're over there, hating yourself.
i've worried about you, i still am a bit concerned.
then your friend told me we could talk things through in a few days.
a smile spread over my face, i could talk to you after so long.
but that day came and went, and you weren't here.
stood there like a fool, waiting for what you promised.
now, your forcing me to slip away.
guess you never cared, guess you're gonna keep running away from me, and i guess you don't care you broke a promise.
a friend of mine was SUPPOSED to talk to me friday, but didn't. well it's that person's lost. if they ever cared about me, they dont now.
