why?
sasuke stared at the spot she disappeared from. 'why' he thought. 'why won't she forgive me?' then he saw it. on the roof tiles was her locket. he had given her that locket at the start of the chunin exams. it was a beautiful red heart. he opened to find the picture he had put in. it was the two of them for a team photo. kakashi had tricked them into comming early. 'now i know. i know that she's scared. she loves me and wants to start again, but she scared i'll hurt her like before.'
nika was running. she almost lost it to her demon side. but she missed sasuke so much. as soon as she was far enough away, she fell on her knees and cried. 'how' she said through tears. 'how, after all this time, can you still love me?' then, she heard a darker version of her own voice.
'he wants to hurt you again' it hissed. she closed her eyes.
'what do you want' she thought. in her mind appeared two glowing white eyes rimmed in black. it was her demon's voice. ' i only want to protect you my dear' it hissed. nika became angry. 'no' she shouted in her head. 'you never warn me unless you're in danger' her demon laughed cruelly. 'well, in a way i am. if you're hurt again by this boy, you'll want death. and we had a blood deal that ican't control your body without your permission. so i don't want to die. but love him again if you want. i'm not the one who will really be hurt again.' nika's eyes opened and she looked to the moon. tears came out. 'why' she thought sadly. 'why does love have to hurt to show it's really there?'



of course love has to hurt sometimes. it shows that we're human and that we really were in love. but love can also combine with joy and be your savior.
