   My box of broken memories

heres a little something I wrote..



I regret nothing
I regret everything
Too many mistakes have been made
Too Many lives have changed
Take it all away
And hand it back to me again
Just to remind me of a past that will never change
A past that will never be forgotten

I gave my love to you
a love that never was
I hope that you're happy
you have that right at least
We moved on
but I looked back
and you weren't there
You never were...

My glass heart has been shattered
because of my own mistakes
I was left with empty promises
gathered neatly in a box of broken memories

I'll watch the world from afar now
I don't want anyone else to get hurt
I don't want to be hurt
I don't want to world to see me like this
Never again...

Lessons have been learned
Dreams have been destroyed
And my love that never was vanished before it even appeared
