WTF!?! Half?
Yes, or school (a high school, mind you) has half days. If we stay to a certain point, it counts as a full day of school. They started it last year, because in our district, elementary school's often have half days. Well parents started complaining that their "young ones" were going home with no one to look after them.
The result: the high school kids now have half days as well. It is a complete waste of our time, as our classes are all LESS than half an hour, and we have more time in the halways (i just don't get that). So instead of a class sarting/ending on a nice, easy to track 5, class periods are at intervals of 3 or 9.
This is such crap infact that well over half of the students don't even come to school. But of coure i do, because "it doesn't matter what kind of day it is, i have to go to school. It's my job..." (says mom).
I just don't like it, and niether does anyone else at my school. We all say just give us the damn day off!!!!!!!
