   Just Seventeen
I was sitting in class today, looking at my classmates with a bitter sweet thought. In ten years, i will be gone, they will be gone, and the life as we knew it would be changed for good. In ten years I may be married, I may have babies of my own, I may be rich and fameous, or maybe even just an average housewife. I will have had a whole other decade of memories and milestones. I would have graduated highschool, college, and will be standing firmly on my own two feet. But right now, I'm still just a seventeen year old girl, with a crush on the quiet boy, who needs to take the SAT's soon, and who is worried about a blemish on her face. Still just the seventeen year old girl who is filled with innocence, ambition, and a love for life. Just a seventeen year old girl without a care in the world. Just a seventeen year old girl who's trying to get her license, who argues with her parents, and who loves her friends. Just a seventeen year old girl with the world at her fingertips. Just a seventeen year old girl, for now.

   I was the only one who isn't in Honors English selected to write a devotional for this new Christian Teen Book. Annnd my team captain and i are 1rst and 2nd ace servers in the county, annnd i'm the 30th best middle blocker in the country!!!! Aaah! Sooo excited!! My friend had a bad day...:-(.    Stratford and the Evil Mustard
Omgosh! Stratford was INCREDIBLE! The play was amazing, and the girl who played Rosalind was a genius! Her expressions and emotions seemed so geniune!!! I got to feed ducks at the bay and got attacked by psycho seagulls....hmm....I sat with Peter on the bus.....*blush* Such a cool guy. Seniors rock! Dinner at the Chinese restaraunt was fun, except for the *mustard* It was like Satan in liquid form!!!! *Maxine's* hehehe lol.

   We won our game against C-R last night! Woohoo! I smashed my nose again....lol. Today the seniors our going to Stratford, Canada to see the Shakespeare play of 'As You Like It' soooo exciting!!!! I love theatre! And i love this play! Ooooh, my crush has just entered the room, ttyl!!!!

   It seems everytime i meet somebody i say hello, than goodbye. I get close to someone, then they pack up and leave abruptly after they've had their fill. I feel used. I feel worthless. I feel abandoned and forgotton. So my question is this....Why bother saying hello at all?
