Hello everyone! As it turns out, I have another snow day today. Some of the roads apparently weren't in the best condition for buses to be traveling down. *shrug* Anyway.

I ventured outside again today, in the pursuit of a Mountain Dew, seeing as we have none here. Despite being very careful as I was walking, I managed to slip on the exact same patch of ice that I slipped on the other day. This time I didn't go all the way down, tho. Just got my knee soaked in a pile of snow. lol

Hmm. That's about all I have to talk about.

let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Hello everyone. Sorry I've been away for a while again.

Well, I had no school on both Thursday and Friday because of the snow/sleet, so that was awesome. I actually tried to get on here Thursday, but with the ice on the power lines and everything, the power kept going out, and I got so sick of having to turn the computer back on and connect to the Internet again that I finally gave up. And then on Friday, we had a little cleaning day, so I was preoccupied with that.

Today was actually the first day I went out in the snow. I put on my great big snow boots, took my first step outside, and took a fall after slipping on some ice. I ended up taking the dog with me, as she was nearby. She moves away everytime she sees me now. lol Anyway. We ended up going to town a little later, thanks to the help of some random person who bladed our driveway so we could get out. I got a Mountain Dew, which I've been craving for about three days now (we're out of soda at home). So I'm pretty content. My younger brother asked me a little while ago if I wanted to go play in the snow with him, but I declined. I've decided I prefer to observe the snow in all of its blinding white wintery wonder rather than go traipsing around in it.

Oh yes, I've also added a nice winter/holidy background to my page as well. I just need to find a suitable avatar, and I'll be all set for December.

Hey everyone. Happy Thanksgiving! Hope the day is going well for you guys.

My Thanksgiving hasn't been very exciting so far. I had planned on sleeping in this morning, but alas, Mom woke me up and told me to get started cleaning. So that's what I've been doing since about 7:00 or so this morning. My relief arrived a little while ago in the form of my grandparents, who are currently occupying my mother in the kitchen. I managed to slip away undetected and here I am now! lol

Hmm. I think I'm going to be changing my layout here pretty soon. Maybe put up something festive for the upcoming Xmas. As soon as I find a suitable wallpaper, I believe that's what I'll do.

Well, I'm being beckoned into the kitchen now, so I'd better go. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Hey everyone. Well, it seems I was able to hold true to my word and be back soon, as I'd hoped. I'm happy now. lol

Unfortunately, I still can't think of anything to talk about. Hmm. Well, we're getting out of school early on Wednesday for Thanksgiving, so that's cool. And depending on how Mom feels, we might even go Xmas shopping on Black Friday (scary!). But it would be cool if we got to go somewhere different, like St. Louis or Columbia maybe. But then again, we'd have to deal with more people...hmm. I dunno.

Anyway, I'm just sort of rambling now, so I guess I'll be going.

I'm back again (surprise, surprise). lol The reason I didn't post sooner was because I didn't really have anything to talk about (not like that's changed much since then), and wanted to look at everyone's sites rather than post myself. So that is what I did.

I was looking at my little side bar thingy, the one that tells what my fave anime is, etc. (I dunno what the proper name for it is, sorry!), and I saw that as of last Wednesday, I've been here at MyOtaku for a year now!! Although I don't think it should really count, seeing as I was gone quite a lot, but it makes me feel accomplished just the same (a feeling I don't get to experience too often lol).

I'm almost done with this really great book I'm reading. I can't wait to finish it. In fact, I think I'll go read some more on it now.

AND SHE IS NOT DEAD!!!!
That's right! lol I'm the furthest thing from it, actually. I feel incredibly bad about being away for so long (I was actually surprised to look at the date on my last post and find it to be May, when it's felt like at least a year since I was last here), and I'm really sorry. Hope you guys can forgive me.

Well, time to move on, I suppose. Hakuna matata and all that (did I spell that right?). Let's see, what have I been doing since I was last here... Well, I got out of school for the summer, and have been having an okay time. Next week school starts up again, for me tho. Whoop dee doo. I must admit that I am a little excited, seeing as I will be going into highschool this year and all (I feel like such a little kid still, tho). I'm also kinda psyched about the fact that I will get back some manga I loaned to a girl last month. That is, unless I see her sooner.

Hmm. However, with the start of school fast approaching, I don't know how often I will be able to come here. I know in the past that I've said I'll try to come back as often as I can, and that I haven't always held true to that promise. I will try harder this time, tho, count on that.

Well, I think that's about all I can think of to say.

And so I've returned from yet another leave of absence!! And with a new background, no less! Well, it's not necessarily new; I've had it up before. I decided that I missed it, so I put it back up. It's hard for me to tire of looking at it. So pretty...

Ahem. I'll stop drooling over my background now, and get on to other things. What other things, you ask? Good question. I don't know what other things. I suppose I came here with the intention of "winging it" with this post. Or something like that.

In case you were wondering why I'm typing like this, I'm speaking in an accent inside my head, so it's affecting the way I type. Sorry if this bothers you and/or doesn't make sense at all.

Or, if you didn't even notice, just ignore the above paragraph. I sometimes pick up on things (particularly my own craziness) that some don't notice. Ah, that didn't make any sense either. Ignore this paragraph (can it really be called that?) too, while you're at it.

Hmm. I'm in an unusually good mood. I'm about to go scouting for new icons to match my layout (seeing as the others I had before were deleted when our old computer crashed).

Before I go looking for icons, I think I'm going to grab a cookie. Fuel for the creative energies, and all that (even though I'm not doing anything creative...ah well).

Yes, I know it's been a while. Sorry about that.

BUT! I was able to purchase this book that I was absolutely dying to get, so I of course spent all of my spare time reading it. And then of course, factor in the amount of storms, and the little fit that the comp decided to throw and voila! My excuses are so lame.

Anyway, I guess I've also been avoiding here because my posts, as of late, have been boring, and I've had nothing to talk about. I don't really feel like subjecting you guys to a post full of nothing, so...yeah.

My ipod is starting to get on my nerves. It decided that it wouldn't turn off today, so when I got out of school and was ready to listen to it, the battery was completely run down. Now, when I try to turn it off, it won't work. *sigh* I think every piece of electronic equipment that I touch becomes cursed, or something. :p

Well, that's all I can think of to say, so I guess I'll be around later.
