Well, as it turns out, we did get a snow day after all. I'm completely surprised. Somewhat miffed, since we really could have used this snow at Christmas time and not the day after spring officialy began, but hey, what are you gonna do?

Anyway, other than The Big Snow, there's really not much else to talk about. Maybe I'll think of something later...

I've been gone. Again. But first, there were all the big storms, and then I was sick, and so on. Excuses are pretty much all you hear from me these days. lol Anyway.

I'm looking forward immensely to summer. I'm hoping to have more time to get things accomplished in the area of my0 (i.e., just posting more often) during the summer months. And I also am just ready to be out of school. It's gotten so repetitive and dull (of course, when was it ever not?). *sigh*

Let's see. It's supposed to be snowing here big time tonight. Lots of people, even teachers, were speculating today that we'd get tomorrow off. Not that I wouldn't mind (I'm all for a snow day; we haven't had one in years), but I highly doubt we're going to get off school. It's probably not going to snow enough to give us a snow day, if it even snows at all. But it's a fun thought. Extremely wild weather we're having, though.

Well, guess I'll leave.

Yes, I'm back.

It looks like it's going to storm outside. How fun. I'm in the mood for a nice big storm.

People at school irritate me to the point where I'm ready to cry out, "What did I ever do to you?" in despair.

Sorta just rambling off random thoughts. Sorry. I can't think of anything else to talk about.

Kinda hungry, so I think I'll go fix something to eat now. I just posted because I figured I should after so long.

Of course this post hardly makes my absence excusable, but oh well.

Eeek. Sorry I haven't updated in a while. But you know how that story goes with me...

Anyway. Had to go to this band festival thing yesterday. It was sorta like a competition between bands, and then sorta not. I really didn't think it was gonna be all that great, but in the end it wasn't that bad. After the festival was over, I decided to ride the bus back to school since a whole bunch of people were going home with their parents, so there weren't very many on the bus. We stopped for lunch, and you could either go to this Taco Bell/Pizza Hut thing, or Burger King. Since a lot of people were going to Taco Bell, me and some of my friends went over to Burger King and ate. It was fun. I laughed so much I almost had soda come up my nose. lol I've never had that happen to me before...

Let's see. Tomorrow, it's back to school for me. How fun. I'm really not looking forward to it. Hopefully, Spring Break will get here fast. After all, only a few more days left of February.

Hey. Sorry I've been gone. I get distracted so easily with other things...

Anyway. We finally have our new computer. Yay!! ^^ I'm so happy! The only bad thing is, the guy wasn't able to save the hard drive from the old comp, so in other words, we lost EVERYTHING we had on it. It kinda ticks me off a little, since I had some stuff like fics and other valuable documents on there, but oh well. It can't be helped.

Last night's Fullmetal Alchemist was good. I can't believe there's only a few episodes left!! I really didn't want Lust to die (I'm assuming that she did die in last night's ep...right?). I mean, I guess I kinda knew that she wouldn't make it to becoming human, but I didn't think she'd die so quickly after joining up with Ed. And I really didn't want her to be killed by Wrath, of all people. Personally, I was wanting her to kick that kid's ass in that fight. Sorry, but there's something about Wrath that I just can't stand.

Oh, and that reminds me. I heard that Adult Swim was going to start airing some anime on Friday nights now. I flipped back and forth to that channel many times between 11pm and 6am (the times advertised on the banner thing) on Friday night, and I didn't see anything anime (or even Adult Swim) related. I guess it either hasn't started yet, or I somehow managed to miss it...

Meh. My lips were so chapped yesterday that they split open and bled in a couple places. They hurt now. *wibble* lol But I guess it just goes to show that I shouldn't have taken that chapstick out of my pocket after all.

Well, guess I should go now. Many more things to do.

Wow. I can't believe it's already Sunday. It seems like the weekend flew by so fast, and Friday was so long ago. Hmm. That's sorta weird. Anyway, I will now fill you in on the goings-on in my hum-drum life...

The dance on Friday was fun. Hardly anyone was there because there was also a basketball game going on. And of course, drama was ever-present. Actually, there were a couple of instances where I was a little scared/worried/sad/whatever, like when two guys that started out as friends at the dance were ready to kill each other after the first twenty minutes or so. One of those guys was the boyfriend of one of my friends, and he was caught cheating on her, so...maybe that was the reason for the fight. I dunno the precise details. I just know that he came around to talk to her a couple times, and then there was just this group of guys yelling around us. I had to do quite a bit of moving around to get away from them. lol

I slow-danced only once, but the guy I danced with was worth it. There were rumors that he was going to ask me out, but I think everyone buzzing around scared him off. lol He was almost too shy to ask me to dance. Some of his friends had to sorta push him into me. Heehee. It's weird, people asked me later if I really liked him, and I didn't know what to say. I mean, I've been obsessing over a different guy for almost two years straight, and then I suddenly find myself falling for someone else in the space of the two minutes that I danced with him. *shakes head* I'm just messed up. And besides, I don't think I really need a boyfriend anyway.

In other news, I spent pretty much all of yesterday at my grandparents' house. How exciting. *sarcasm* My parents went out to eat, and they appearently don't think I'm old enough to take care of myself and my younger brother. They stayed out until around midnight, then came and took us home. I was a little ticked off, to say the least.

And today, we went out to eat for my grandpa's and my dad's birthday. How fun. *sarcasm (again)* There was one little child constantly running around my chair at the restaurant, and another screaming the entire time. However I managed to be nice, and not snap at my aunt and uncle when they talked to me. This payed off, because Mom took me to Barnes and Noble afterward. I was finally able to spend some money. I got volumes 1-3 of Gravitation, and volume 1 of Loveless. I call it, My-Early-Valentine's-Day-Gift-Of-Shonen-Ai-Yummyness-To-Myself. Long title, but I was feeling...creative. lol

Well, I guess I'll go now. Have tons of sites to visit.

Hi all. Sorry I didn't make it back to some of your sites last time. That's gonna be the first thing I do once I'm done posting. Promise.

Let's see. Not that much to talk about really. The dance is tomorrow night, and I'm having a friend over, so don't expect a post from me then. I'm excited. Tomorrow's going to go by so sloooooooow. :p

I was cruising around the 'Net a few minutes ago, trying to find some sheet music for Tim Burton's Corpse Bride. Of course, all the stuff I could find was in music books, or I had to pay four bucks to download it. Maybe the next time we go shopping, sometime next century, I can pick up a book. lol

Hmm. It snowed here the other day. It started in the morning, a real blizzard (in fact many of us were disappointed school wasn't canceled). By the end of the day, it had all but melted. Of course, I'm not really in the mood for snow anymore. I'm ready for spring, and thus summer, right now. But it doesn't look like that's going to happen for a while. Bleh.

So how have things been with you guys? I haven't missed anything have I?

love is in the air
Well, I've changed my background theme once again. I was in a lovey-dovey mood, so I decided to change my wallpaper to match that mood. Valentine's Day is coming up soon, anyway, so I figure I'll leave this one up through pretty much the whole month of February. Unless I find one that I like better. Actually, I was sorta hoping to find an Akito/Shigure wallpaper, but since the only one that I liked was so dark that it wouldn't look right if I lightened it up, I decided to go with this nice Hatsuharu/Rin one. I'm going to make up for the lack of Aki/Gure with this lovely Aki/Gure icon, however (dunno if you can see it yet, or not). There was another one that I really liked, that featured Manabe Kakeru and a girl that I don't think I know. I'm still thinking I might switch to that one, if I don't find a satisfactory Aki/Gure one...

Speaking of Valentine's Day, the dance is this Friday. I'm still crazily excited. Especially since my bestest buddy Amber is coming over. Whee!! But the dance is probably going to be the only thing I look forward to that's Valentine's Day themed. I'm debating on whether or not to hand out valentines to my friends this year. I didn't hand any out last year, either. I'm thinking if I hand out valentines, they're gonna hafta be anime-themed. Hmmm. That would be an interesting little project to undertake (along with the 7,532 other projects I'm undertaking. lol).

Well, hafta go. Mom has to use the comp. Sorry if I don't make it to some of your guys' sites!!

I'm back again, after a few days' absence. Oh well. I'm sure you all know by now what my excuse for it is.

Well, our computer finally arrived a couple of days ago. It's now in the hands of this guy who's going to put all of the stuff from our old comp onto our new one. I was hoping it would get back yesterday, while my brother was gone, so that I would be able to grab it before he started playing his games on it. The way I figure, he'll be interested in the new comp for about a week, before he goes back to his once-a-month-at-best sessions on it. I wouldn't mind him being on it, except that it's just that he has the knack for getting on it at the exact time that I want to. He also tends to play the most ridiculously annoying games. Oh well. The comp's not here yet, so I don't know what I'm whining about.

I went shopping with my mom yesterday. And decided that the local Waldenbooks needs to be stabbed with a very sharp instrument (of torture, that is). This is the third time in a row that I've been to that bookstore and they've had absolute zip when it comes to manga. I'm going to ask my mom if we can go to a bigger city -- like St. Louis, maybe -- and check out a quality Barnes and Noble. As I was writing up a list of the manga and/or anime that I wanted to buy, I realized that there were some on that list that I was probably never going to get. *sigh* I need to get a job.

In other news, I should probably get on the homework my stupid teacher gave me over the weekend.

I think I'm getting a cold. My throat feels extremely scratchy...

Anyway, as it turns out, the computer wasn't in the package the UPS guy dropped off (btw, lordsesshomaru, you were right. We are getting a Dell! ^^). It was just the printer. I was, naturally, a little ticked. We did find a note after we got home today on the door from the FedEx people saying that they were going to drop off a package but no one was here to get it. I wonder why they didn't just leave it at the front door, but whatever...

...It probably wasn't the comp, anyway.

Ehh. There's nothing to talk about. Guess I'll go now.
