NEWS LETTER
may 2006 COTTAGE GROVE WILD
SUCCES IS A JOURNEY, NOT A DESTINATION. SUCCESS DOESN'T COME TO YOU, YOU GO GET IT.
WINNING MEANS BELIEVING IN YOUR SELF AS A WINNER, YOU WILL BE!
Breanne Lee comes out strong with the batt hitting a home run the first game of the tournament.
Nikki Hernandez mowing them down throwing a no hitter the second game.
FURGAS FALLS
COTTAGE GROVE WILD STARTS OUT THE SEASON STRONG IN FERGUS FALLS(by the way i live in minnesota). SWEEPING THESE GAMES, TOURANMANT WITH ONLY ALLOWING 13 RUNS (in one game) TO SCORE IN ALL 5 GAMES. WE HAVE STRONG PITCHERS AND AN AWSOME DEFENSE TO BACK THEM UP. SCORING 54 RUNS(totall) OUR SELF PROVES WE ARE STRONG WITH THE BAT. WE PLAYED TOGETHER AS IF WEHAVE BEEN PLAYING WITH EACH OTHER FOR YEARS. GREAT JOB!
FUNDRASING
FUNDRAISING IS DONE UNTIL THE END OF JUNE. WE WILL BE BAGGING AT CUB. WE AS A TEAM MADE $3'635 AT THE BASKET BALL TOURNAMANT. MONEY IS SPLIT UP BY HOURS WORKED. GREAT JOB TO ALL THOSE WHO WORKED THE TOURNAMENT. IT WAS VERY SUCCESSFUL.
TALK OF THE TOWN
SWEEPING TH TOURNAMT IN FERGUS FALLS TURNED SOME HEADS OF OUR OPPONENTS AND EVERY ONE AT DELAGOON PARK. I NOTICED OTHER PEOPLE FROM OTHER GAMES WATCH US PLAY THE GAME WE ALL LOVE. BEING APPROTCHED BY COACHES AND OPPOSING PARENTS SAYING HOW FUN IT WAS TO WATCH THE WILD PLAY AND HOW THEY LEARNED MORE ABOUT THE GAME WATCHING US. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR EVERYONE AT DELAGOON PARK. ON MAY 6 WE WERE PROUD T BE YOUR COACHES.
ENTHUSIASM IS LIKE A RIPPLE IN THE WATER... IT SPREADS.
BAD THROWS AND BAD SWINGS LOSE MORE GAMES THAN BAD CALL.
