Doubletake
Back from a long hiatus with a new look. Yay! =D
Post
Quote of the Day:
Give to every other human being every right that you claim for yourself.
~Robert Ingersoll (1833 - 1899)
Wow, first off, I'd like to thank you all for commenting. Especially CDaisuke, whom I can always count on to comment whenever he's able to. ^^
So, today started off with my dad waking me up at the crack of dawn asking me if I want to go fishing.
Now, you see, normally, I'm a morning person. From third to fourth grade, I got used to waking up at 5:30 in the morning to wake my mom up in the hopes of getting to school on time. Which usually failed, but, persistence is key, right? Seriously, at my old school, it was commonplace that I had 100+ tardies. I lived in a whole other county, though, which excused it somewhat. (My record all time low at my old school was 72. o.O) So, I've hated being late. But, back to the point. I've used to waking up early, but going to the school I just graduated from, and having been there for 2 years, I didn't have to wake up as early, or go to bed early either.
So, I was very annoyed when he woke me. Especially since my extremely bright light is right above my head when I sleep. It's a mounted wall lamp that shines directly in my eyes. Needless to say, I refused and went back to sleep.
While fishing is good and all, we'd have to drive an hour to two hours to get to the place he wants to go. I'm just too lazy. XP
And I found out that on Saturday, after my horse back riding lesson, which starts at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., I have to go to my mom's office to help with this move thing. I have to set up computers, take computers down, load software and some such. I agreed. But now my dad's saying that he'll probably pay me close to $100. Money's always a good bonus. And incentive. XD
This reminds me of a time in Extended Language Arts when our teacher asked us what bet would we do for a million dollars. I was clueless. I hate taking/making/doing bets. There's a reason for that, too.
Anywho, my posts might start to come in much longer spans of time. I'm working on a fan-fiction forum with my friend, which I hope to have up soon, as well as that Bleach club, as well as working on a fan-fiction, as well as making a layout, as well as trying (looks sheepishly at snow bunny 08) to do the Summer Drawing Challenge. -huffs- Busy, busy.
Question: Would you take the million dollar bet, and if so, what would you do for it?TheOtaku.com © Broken Illusions Layout Tutorial By 311 PNG By Aethereality

So Meepeth the Sheepeth
Back from a long hiatus with a new look. Yay! =D
Post
Quote of the Day:
"Those who wish to appear wise among fools, among the wise seem foolish."
~Quintilian De Institutione Oratoria
Today started off as my typical summer day. Rather boring and computer filled.
Until my dad asked me if I wanted to go bike riding.
At first I snorted and laughed. You see, my dad has a knee problem. He can't run, can hardly walk, sometimes has to use a cane. He's undergone about 7 cumulative surgeries involving both knees, and he's supposed to have another one sometime soon. The end is nowhere in sight.
You see, I thought he was joking. But he wasn't.
So, we went to a local park, about a 15 minute drive. We stayed out for 2 hours. So, it wasn't that bad.
Plus, it's given me inspiration. I'm busy working on graphics, and I actually have the urge to draw! //.^ Things are looking up today. Of course, watch. Tomorrow, it'll probably start storming and everything, in the process knocking out the power, and all I'll be able to do to keep me entertained is sleep. //.- (-knocks on wood-)

Beyond the Beyond
Back from a long hiatus with a new look. Yay! =D
Post
Quote of the Day:
Our great democracies still tend to think that a stupid man is more likely to be honest than a clever man.
~Bertrand Russell (1872 - 1970)
I feel the days are going by so slowly, but yet so fast. I mean, not including the weekend, 3 days of my summer vacation have passed, and yet I still feel like I'll have to go to school tomorrow. It's odd.
Nothing happened today. And when I say nothing, I mean nothing. I've been on the computer all day long, and I'm bored (Ah, I speak blasphemy, I know!). I tried to do graphics, but I got a headache after awhile. I tried drawing, but, my drawing skills are horrible, and I'm hyper-critical on myself. I tried reading fan-fics, but they were all horrible, and exacerbated my headache.
Anywho, I think I'll go back to making graphics. I'm gonna try working on a Bleach Club. No guarantees that it'll be done anytime soon, though.

The Plague....Of Boredom
Back from a long hiatus with a new look. Yay! =D
Post
Quote of the Day:
Too many people are thinking of security instead of opportunity. They seem more afraid of life than death.
~James F. Byrnes (1879 - 1972)
Wow, I've finally updated.
Anywho, the last day of school was really sad. Our school paid for a DJ to come by during lunch (we had a half-day) and so when we were about to leave the cafeteria, he played a goodbye song for the 8th graders. We all started crying and bawling our eyes out. It was a chain effect. You saw so-and-so crying, o you started crying, then these people started crying because they saw you crying, so on so forth. Then he played the Cha Cha Slide, hoping to cheer us up. A bit late for that in my books...
Summer vacation is here, and I couldn't be more bored. Sure, being on the computer all day long is fine, but when you've ran out of things to do on the computer, it's not so great. -sigh- Any suggestions?
I'll cut it short today. Not much to say. Oh, and by the way, the thing about making the layout go to the top. It won't. -.- I've tried numerous things. But, I'm a bit defective at coding, so, it's only expected to have at least one little minor detail like that. Better than expected.

Graduation Day
Back from a long hiatus with a new look. Yay! =D
Post
Quote of the Day:
"Reality continues to ruin my life."
~Bill Watterson (1958 - ), Calvin and Hobbes
Well, today, I graduated. I thought the song I put on my profile was befitting of today.
With graduation brings a bittersweet moment. Yes, you're taking a huge leap from the sheltered life (or, at least, in my case, sheltered) and into the life of a highschooler, but you're also leaving some friends behind. Such is the importance of keeping in touch.
Which is why I endeavor to ruin my friends' vacations and intrude as much as possible just so that we don't forget. Except maybe Emily. I can bug her as much as I want in highschool. Oh, what fun! -claps hands in glee-
Anywho, I finished this layout! I took me forever to code it, because I'm horrible at coding. I used, like, 7 different help site, only to find only one of them worked with MyOtaku. Anywho, I hope you all enjoy!
And don't forget, on the comments, put your username in the name box. So I know who sent it. Unless, you wish to be anonymous.
Questions:
1) As per my custom, do you like my layout? Any suggestions?
2) What are your feelings on graduation?TheOtaku.com © Broken Illusions Layout Tutorial By 311 PNG By Aethereality
