This is an excerpt from the foreword of my story...tell me what yall think
A dragon’s life is one that is commonly misunderstood. Dragons are always thought to be violent and evil creatures. I know this to be different. Being the human counterpart has given me a very in depth insight into the world of these noble and sometimes beautiful creatures. I am not trying to say that all dragons are kind or that all of them are honorable for there are those that kill others simply for the fun of it. They are detestable and my dragon has never been one to stand silently by and let these creatures go unpunished. He has many times stood his ground against numerous foes and came out victorious, but he has also lost his fair share of fights.
Many people do not have a mind that is open enough to accept that dragons do exist, but for those few who have the world can be an amazing place. Full of adventure and creatures beyond your imagination. I am writing this to try and give those who can’t experience it a glimpse into a world beyond their own. Many people have called me crazy because of my obsession with a creature that they believe doesn’t exist. Others have rushed to my side to defend me because they have been able to see beyond what their own eyes can see. This story is for all of those. Both those that came to my side and those that laughed in my face at the mere mention of a dragon.
My dragon was one of the luckiest. Born a normal dragon, he rose to become king of all dragons. Only after that was it all torn away from him. This tale is not just of glory and triumph, but also of sadness and failure. This dragon feels emotion just as you do and he can be injured just as any human. Take his emotions into consideration when judging this book.Well we have spoken long enough about the story, so lets begin telling it.
