More Lord of the Rings Trivial Pursuit
The second time through was better. Apparently, people are afraid of answering questions pertaining to the movies. Oh well...this game was much better last night. I actually had a quasi-challenge. Someday, I will play Lighty though. But last night was decent. They managed to make the game incredibly dirty, but I had fun. The game actually lasted longer than a half an hour, and no drunk people were playing. ^_^ Yay! Besides that, yesterday was rather uneventful. I helped Cip write a script for his one-act thing he is holding. Then we recruited my sister for one of his plays as well. She's a Sophomore in High School, but I think she'll do fine. Plus, it'll be fun for her. So, that's a plus, I suppose. Tomorrow I might be going to see "The Incredibles" with a few freinds of mine...well, not exactly friends of mine, but a couple of people from Theatre and some of their friends. Regardless...I am socializing. Go me! So, yeah...not too much else to talk about. I have to go to Chemistry...Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt is off...aluve'

Shy
Shy. You are obviously not a very open person, and
not very friendly. I don't say that you openly
resent people or that you're mean or anything,
just that you prefer your own company to that
of others and that even if you want others, you
just don't quite have the courage to ask. Your
special power is the power of thought. You are
a deep person, and if you think things through,
will get far in life.

   Bowling Maddness
Today was full of completely random things. In the morning, we had worksession at the theatre that lasted about an hour. After that, I went to Cip's room for the good majority of the day and played Zelda whilst he wrote a script for his one-act show. Besides that, the afternoon consisted of slinkies as well. Not too much was going on around here. Then at 7 we went bowling. (We being a few people from theatre and a couple of other people I didn't know). I am awful at bowling. I proved that after two games. It was fun though...I got to hang out and socialize with people, and it was just a good time. Then a couple of us went and played the Lord of the Rings edition of Trivial Pursuit. The game just isn't as fulfulling when you play with some drunk people. I brought the game so maybe I could play my friend Lighty. He's known around theatre to know about Lord of the Rings better than I, so I was eager for a challenge. However, he showed up after the game had been finished. Someday, I will challenge him though. I am interested in how that could turn out. Besides that, we watched part of "Undercover Brother" but my eyes started to bother me, so I came back to campus. On a completely unrelated topic, yet strangely related, I am an impatient being. "Always remember, Patience is a virtue. And if Socrates has taught us anything, it is that virtue cannot be taught. It must be given to you. So let the circumstance create your patience, your virtue. When there is nothing you can do but wait, just remember, that is life trying to make you virtuous. Don't fight it." I hate when people are right....Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt is gone for the night...aluve'

Yeah...Lighty Tends to do that to People....
Damn you, The Nik. Okay, now that is out of the way...maybe I should explain myself on that. I went over to State last night for our weekly Movie Night. I have some sort of a cold right now, so when we were watching South Park, I started hacking up a lung (or something very close to that). The Nik says to me, in a barely audible tone "Yeah, Lighty tends to do that to people." If people only knew who this Lighty character was, they would find it just that much more amusing. I even got a good laugh out of that. But anyway, yeah. You see, I go to an Engineering college...there are a good number of guys here, but a good portion of them are the typical "nerds, geeks, etc." In all truthfullness, I don't think he is much different. When The Nik and Cip found out, their reactions were the same: "What...a girl...liking Lighty?" *laughs* I go for the odd guys, what can I say? I know many people here that can confirm that if any of you had any doubts. *shrugs* I don't know why...but I'm not complaining. The thing is, I have no idea what to do now. It's like people are telling me what to do, and I just want to figure it out for myself. This all goes back to the problem of me telling how I feel. I am bad at it. That's why I am glad to have the friends that I do here. They know how to get me to tell how I am feeling and whatnot. ^_^ (You guys rock...so hard!) Now what? I am just sitting here, waiting for class to start, or for something interesting to happen...still waiting. Fortunately, the other day, I finally figured out what I want in a guy...which makes my life a little bit easier. Some people I know are looking for the perfect person; one with no flaws and just all around perfect. The way I see it, that's not what I want. Perfection is overrated. The way I see it, if you can be with someone despite their flaws, then it is a good thing. I am looking for the good guy with flaws. Not bad-guy flaws though, they need to be good guy flaws. Example? Being a man-whore whilst drunk is a bad guy flaw. Being a little bit of a nerd is a good guy flaw. See where I am going wit this? (Any questions, leave a comment, and I'll answer you). But, yeah, that is what I am looking for. That gives me something to work off of, at least. ^_^ I am just rambling on now, waiting for something to happen. Waiting sucks. This Saturday I have another worksession...hopefully that'll be something good. Who knows? I am such a geek when it comes to things like this...maybe I am going about everything the wrong way...maybe people don't get the hint sometimes...and maybe I am looking into everything completely the wrong way. Too many "what if's" and such. *laughs* If people only knew...(Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt is flying off...aluve')

   Late Nights and Early Mornings
So, yeah, it was a long night last night. I was bores out of my mind, so I was onlkne for most of the night. One would think that since I go to such an awesome college that I would have some sort of homework to do, but alas, I was homework-less. It kind of sucked, but I did get away with doing absolutely nothing and not feel guilty about it. At one point during the night, when there was abreak in all of my AIM conversations at once, a strange feeling came over me. It was like a feeling of depression that hit for no reason, with an overwhelming longing for something as well. I have no idea what triggered it, but it was odd indeed. It kind of got me thinking about what it was. When Cip got back from visiting some people at State, I talked to him about it. (I was talking to The Nik about it, but I couldn't figure it out at that point). So, as I began to explain it to Cip, I think I figured out what it was I was longing for. for some reason, my subconscious started longing for someone for me. Someone to be with, or something along those lines. Thinking it through more carefully, I think that's exactly what I was wanting. As I told this to Cip, he asked me if there was anyone in particular. Come to find out, there was, and the answer was something that no one would see coming. However,I am feeling better today (besides being sick). I was up until about 3:00am talking about it to Cip, and it seems like everything will go well (hopefully). And that's all I shall say about that. Guesses will be taken, but as of now, only two people know of this: Cip and my Roommate. Although she and I don't talk much, we di share a lot of secrets with one another. It's good to have that bonding with someone...I haven't had that since I left high school. Like I said, we don't talk much, but when we do, it's really good to just get things off of my chest. She has her friends, and I have mine, so it easy to talk to one another about our problems because the other cannot be biased on opinion because they do not know the other party. And,yeah, that's enough of my rambling. Artemis, Goddess of the hunt will be off now ^_^ aluve'

   Insight Into Life
"In these times, where trust is all but gone, and hope is but a glimmer, where do we find the inspiration to go on? Dreams, they say. Follow your dreams. My dreams are now tinged with the same darkness I walk in every moment of this life. I blink to escape the light, but when I open my eyes again, I cannot find it. I cannot follow the same path as every other... there has to be more in this life than chasing every temporary high. I'm chasing something much greater. I feel it when I hear the ocean roar in my soul... I see it when the sun rises, and for one priceless moment, is pure. All the steps I take must lead me somewhere other than here, other than now. I'll miss those who are left behind. I'll love those that stay by my side. I'll remember the time past. I'll pray for the time to come. I hope with all my heart that you'll be there at the end, when all is right again."

That is a random thought from my friend Tony. I loved it, and he told me that if I posted it then he would feel famous. Yay, now Tony is famous! *laughs* I just realized that I have a lot of thinking to do, so I think I am going to go for a walk and pick up my car soon...aluve'

   Happy Halloween
Last night we had a cast party after our show. We got to dress up in our Halloween Costumes as well. I dressed up with The Nik as Team Rocket, and it was definitely a blast. I completely loved my outfit, and come to find out, so did a few other people. The Nik told me that he caught a couple of people checking me out, but I wasn't gong to complain. ^_^ I spen a good portion of the night hanging out with another guy from theatre....and that turned out to be interesting...I don't think that my getting into it would be a good thing at the moment. Surprisingly, I am not sick this morning though. I did end up getting pretty drunk last night, and one drink that I had had about 4 or 5 different types of liquor in it at the same time...which should have just made me sick right there...anyway, yeah. Happy Halloween folks! I thought a nice Halloween sing would be in order for hte entry:

SHADOW
Boys and girls of every age
Wouldn’t you like to see something strange?

SIAMESE SHADOW
Come with us and you will see
This, our town of Halloween

PUMPKIN PATCH CHORUS
This is Halloween, this is Halloween
Pumpkins scream in the dead of night

GHOSTS
This is Halloween, everybody make a scene
Trick or treat till the neighbors gonna die of fright
It’s our town, everybody scream
In this town of Halloween

CREATURE UNDER BED

Round that corner, man hiding in the trash can
Something’s waiting now to pounce, and how you’ll scream

HARLEQUIN DEMON, WEREWOLF, AND MELTING MAN
Scream! This is Halloween
Red ‘n’ black, slimy green

WEREWOLF
Aren’t you scared?

WITCHES
Well, that’s just fine
Say it once, say it twice
Take the chance and roll the dice
Ride with the moon in the dead of night

HANGING TREE
Everybody scream, everybody scream

HANGED MEN
In our town of Halloween

Here in a flash and gone without a trace

...and with that, Aretmis, Goddess of the Hunt is signing off...aluve'

   Aye, It's Driving Me Nuts
...Yeah...there's a story behind that. Anyway, last night was opening night for "The House of Blue Leaves," the play I am in. It went well, although there were about 17 people there to watch. I guess that's normal for opening night though. I'll take their word for it. It was like a production at my High School -- the only difference being that this Theatre has talent, and my high school doesn't. I got back to my room around 10:30 pm or so, and was completely amazed. I had nothing to do. All week I have been incredibly busy, and when I had time to relax, I didn't want to. I was incredibly restless. It was awful...I just wanted to get out of my room, but I had nowhere to go. I was talking to my friend Tony from Theatre, and was hoping he'd ask me to come over and hang out or something...I just wanted to get out of my room! That never happened though. He had homework to do. Regardless, we had an odd conversation. It was fun though. And fun is good. (indeed). I am just rambling on now, I know. Oh well...don't read this if you don't want to. I have to go to Chemistry anyway. So there! Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt is out...aluve'

   Bleh...That Works
I haven't posted in a while, but I havem't had much to say either. This week is Hell Week for us, and our opening night is on Thursday. Then we have our Cast Party / Halloween Party Saturday night after our last performance. Hurrah. This weekend I went home on Saturday, and didn't do much. I watched some more episodes of "Those Who Hunt Elves" and the episode of "Lost" from Wednesday night. Wow...that is a great show. It just takes you in...I love it. Not too much happened this weekend at all, and I loved it. Last night I gave The Nik a ride back to college as well, since I brought him home on Saturday. That was an interesting ride home, to say the least. I won't go into any details, but I am just going to say that I am feeling better today. Last night I was bored, so after going for a walk with Cip and my Lab partner, I went back to my lab partner's room with a friend of his, anticipating pink lemonade. Well, they didn't have a container for water, so we improvised, and ate the mix by the spoonful...it was an experience and a half. Anyway, since I have nothing interesting to talk about really, Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt shall be off...aluve'

   Shopping (for Halloween) is fun...
Well, what a weekend it was. Saturday pretty much consisted of worksession, movie-watching, and drunk people-watching. I got to see the "Nightmare Before Christmas" again! Yay me. Sunday was the fun day. ^_^ I got up around 1 and played Zelda for a little bit, and then I decided to go shopping for a Halloween costume...or at least parts of it. I brought along Persons C and W as well, since they had to get parts of their costumes as well. Unfortunately, Person W was unsuccessful in obtaining anything for his costume. It's crazy how stores don't sell "Funnoodles" during the wintertime. I mean, come on, there are such things as indoor pools, you know. Anyway, I was successful in purchasing a white mini-skirt and a couple of Pokeballs. Person C and I are going as Team Rocket. Go us! I think it's a great costume idea. This weekend I am going home so I can get together the rest of my costume. I don't need to buy many other things because my sister and my cousin have things that I can borrow. That's good, because when you're in college, money is a scarce resource...and buying clothes for a Halloween costume can be expensive. Anyway, yeah. I have been feeling better recently, which is a major plus. Our play is coming up in roughly two weeks, and that is coming along well also. Everything is falling into place. *knocks on wood* Mustn't jinx myself. ^_^ Anyway, I think that's about all I have for the time being. Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt is going to go fight the forces of evil...aluve'
