Subject: Time Sensitive Announcement

"Attention all students,
In light of recent events, class has been canceled until further notice. It has come to the attention of the administration that the Chamber of Secrets has been opened. Unless the person who opened the chamber is apprehended and the chamber is re-closed, Clarkson will be forced to close campus and end the semester early. If it comes to such drastic measures, partial tuition will be refunded, and grades will be interpolated from your current performance. The administration is very sorry to have to announce this, but the safety of Clarkson's students is our first and foremost priority. If you have any information please bring it forward to Campus Safety and Security.

"All Clarkson University CLASSES WILL TAKE PLACE as scheduled tomorrow.

Some of you may have received an e-mail spam this afternoon, which looked like a University announcement, stating that all classes are cancelled until further notice.

This is not the case. This was not an actual University announcement, but a spam with a forged "from" address, like many others you receive.

If you doubt the validity of this announcement, please go to http://clarkson.edu/calendar , where you will see a Calendar of Events notice, stating that classes are not cancelled.

If you have further questions, please contact your deepartment office. "
