Dress Rehearsal
Oh sleep...how I have longed for your sweet embrace.
Last night was qiute an interesting night. It was our dress rehearsal for tonight's performance of M*A*S*H. I had my last class end at 5:00, and then I had to be at the theatre at 6:00. I ate dinner around 5:30 after not having had eaten all day. As I was walking to dinner with Chris, a wave of nausea, a pounding headache, and the possibility of fainting swept over me. I was standing in line to get some pasta, and I could barely stay standing. I was so out of it when I was eating, and then I was stupid and drove to the theatre. When I got there, I could barely make it up the stairs. I was stumbling around, and feeling quite dizzy. I went and talked to the director (Cip) and told him that I was feeling like shit. I proceeded to go to my dressing room, and I collapsed on the floor against the wall. I kept feeling like I was going to pass out at any minute, and I was freezing. I am not sure if I actually did pass out at any point, but it was scary as hell. I managed to get up and go the the warmest dressing room (what they call "the sauna") and still felt freezing. Apparently I had a little bit of a fever. A few people confirmed that for me, starting with a guy named Tom that felt my forehead and proceeded to say "You're hot." It was one of those moments when it was too quiet and a bunch of people heard...and laughed -- even me. All in all, the dress reearsal went relatively smoothly, so that's a plus. Even in my half-functional state I managed to get all of my lines right. ^_^ When I got back from rehearsal, I was told thatI looked like shit...hell, that's how I felt. I knew I had to go to sleep, and soon. I went into Chris's room and asked him if he'd mind if I passed out on his fouton. He said he didn't mind, and that he was just going to be playing World of Warcraft. About an hour passed, and I finally managed to fall asleep. I woke up around 11:00 this morning, so I managed 11 hours of sleep (roughly). Insomnia kicked my ass, and that's all there is to it. Hopefully I am geting over the three week period. I only have one class today at 2:30, and I intend to take a nap before I have to be at the theatre at 6:00. Hopefully that will go as planned. I know I need to sleep. Well, Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt, is off to do nothing before her first and only class...aluve'
You are a Samurai. You are full of honour and value respect. You are not really the stereotypical hero, but you do fight for good. Just in your own way. For you, it is most certainly okay to kill an evil person, if it is for justice and peace. You also don't belive in mourning all the time and think that once you've hit a bad stage in life you just have to get up again. It's pointless to concentrate on emotional pain and better to just get on with everything. You also are a down to earth type of person and think before you act. Impulsive people may annoy you somewhat.
Main weapon: Sword Quote: "Always do the right thing. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest" -Mark Twain Facial expression: Small smile
