I think the music is kind of getting old on here. Any suggestions for new songs? I will take the six best song suggestions. I had thought about doing some oldies. (Well, sort of oldies.) I'm thinking 70's, 80's, and 90's. Also keep in mind that I like rock. So, no R&B, hip-hop, rap, country, etc. Also, I'm not too much into soft rock. Rock, or hard rock is my preference. So, if you think you have a good suggestion for a song, then let me know. Thanks!
Ok, let's get on to the exciting, oh-so-hard-to-decide Otakubowl. Yep, those were some tough ones. It only gets harder people. Here's the results from Wednesday's matches.
Cowboy Bebop(10) vs Outlaw Star(5)
Fullmetal Alchemist(11) vs Samurai Champloo(6)
Princess Mononoke(9) vs Spirited Away(7)
Black Cat(9) vs Fruits Basket(6)
Final Fantasy VII(seven)(11) vs Kingdom Hearts(3)
At first I thought maybe Samurai Champloo was going to take it. That's where my vote went. And most of the early votes were for it. Then the FMA people rallied. Also, I voted for Spirited Away, though it lost to Princess Mononoke. Both excellent movies.
Ok, here's Thursday's matches.
Anime Series Old
Yu Yu Hakusho vs Trigun
Anime Series New
Wolf's Rain vs s-CRY-ed
Movie
Ghost in the Shell vs Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children/Last Order
Manga
D.N.Angel vs Shaman King
Video Game
The Legend of Zelda vs Final Fantasy VIII(eight)
There they are. The last of the semi-finals. The winners of those will go up against the winners in Wednesday's for the finals. So, happy voting.
There was something else I was going to say, but I forgot what it was. So, I'm just gonna end it here. Must get this posted to give everyone plenty of time to vote. ^_^
Take care.

Grrr... I had my post all typed out and pretty much ready to post at 9 p.m. my time (midnight Eastern). But I had a browser issue. So, I lost it. o_O
So, I just don't have the time to type out what I wanted to if I want to get this posted on time. I will say that I finally got to see Chronicles of Narnia. Don't expect me to type out the entire title of that movie. As it is, when I type out the titles for the Otakubowl, I type out the full names because I want to keep it official. Many of you shorten it when you vote, and that's perfectly fine. I don't expect you to type out all of Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. Nausicaa works. ^_^
Anyway, here's the results from Tuesday's matches.
Trigun(9) vs Rurouni Kenshin(4)
.hack//SIGN(2) vs s-CRY-ed(9)
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children/Last Order(9) vs Howl's Moving Castle(3)
Saiyuki(5) vs Shaman King(6)
Final Fantasy VIII(eight)(7) vs Gran Turismo(2)
That first one was tough, but since Trigun is my fave, I had to go with it. I know it was really tough for some of you. My toughest one was the movie category. I ended up going with Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Though, I love Howl's almost as much.
Ok, here's Wednesday's matches. Which are also the first of the semi-final matches. Wednesday and Thursday will be semis. Then Friday will be the final matches. And don't forget that Monday will be the big one. The Ultimate Clash between Old and New. The winner of the Anime Series Old category goes up against the winner of the Anime Series New category.
Anime Series Old
Cowboy Bebop vs Outlaw Star
Anime Series New
Fullmetal Alchemist vs Samurai Champloo
Movie
Princess Mononoke vs Spirited Away
Manga
Black Cat vs Fruits Basket
Video Game
Final Fantasy VII(seven) vs Kingdom Hearts
Good luck voting. More tough ones.
Also, I'm thinking about posting the Ultimate Clash match Friday night and giving everyone the chance to vote all weekend. I think it would make it more interesting.
Well, that's all. I'm sorry I didn't get to everyone. I will visit sites after I post this. As I said before, I had browser issues. So, I didn't get to visit since I had to retype this out.
Take care.

I'm too tired to say anything about what's going on with me. Besides, nothing special happened. So, I'm just gonna get straight to the Otakubowl.
Here's Monday's results.
Gundam Wing(6) vs Yu Yu Hakusho(8)
Wolf's Rain(10) vs Inuyasha(5)
Ghost In The Shell(11) vs Naruto the Movie(4)
D.N.Angel(7) vs Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind(4)
DDR(4) vs The Legend of Zelda(7)
Sorry Heseg and Miyoko-chan. I had pondered that one. And I voted for Gundam Wing. I was hoping it would win. I know your pain. And I can't believe Wolf's Rain beat out Inuyasha. Though, I'm not disappointed. That's where my vote went. Wolf's Rain is an excellent anime. I don't think it gets enough credit.
Ok, here's Tuesday's matches.
Anime Series Old
Trigun vs Rurouni Kenshin
Anime Series New
.hack//SIGN vs s-CRY-ed
Movie
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children/Last Order vs Howl's Moving Castle
Manga
Saiyuki vs Shaman King
Video Game
Final Fantasy VIII(eight) vs Gran Turismo
Well, there you have them. Yes, some of those are going to be really tough. And I'm sorry to those who hate to have to choose between RK and Trigun. But we knew it would come to this. Good luck on voting. ^_^
I hope everyone has a great Tuesday. Take care.

I first must address an issue brought up by one of my friends. "Why would someone announce that they had hacked a site?" And I say, "Why not?" I mean if I were going to hack someone's site, I certainly would put something on there to say that it was no longer under the owner's control. Not that I can hack sites. o_O
And no, my site was not hacked. It was my April Fool's prank. For those who didn't catch it, I had everything removed and I had a pop-up that said "This site has been hacked." ^_^
Ok, so let's get to the Otakubowl. Here's the results from Friday's matches.
Card Captor Sakura(2) vs Outlaw Star(9)
Samurai Champloo(8) vs Gungrave(5)
Spirited Away(11) vs Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind(2)
Godchild(1) vs Fruits Basket(6)
Kingdom Hearts(5) vs Devil May Cry(4)
I'm so bummed about Gungrave losing. After I finish this post, I'm gonna go sulk. ^_^
Here's Monday's matches.
Anime Series Old
Gundam Wing vs Yu Yu Hakusho
Anime Series New
Wolf's Rain vs Inuyasha
Movie
Ghost In The Shell vs Naruto the Movie
Manga
D.N.Angel vs Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
Video Game
DDR vs The Legend of Zelda
And there you have them. Happy voting.
Well, I hope everyone has a good Monday. That could almost qualify as an oxymoron. o_O
Take care.

Hehe, how'd you like what I did for April Fool's? I couldn't really find out reactions because I had no link for comments. Though, with the nifty permalink thing, there was a way around that. Something I hadn't realized until Sunday morning. If one really wanted to you just had to right-click on my site and view my source code. Locate the URL for the permalink and then open that. Which would've showed the actual post. You didn't miss anything in that post. I just put a large "April Fool's ^_^".
Sorry I haven't posted the results from Friday's matches in the Otakubowl. As I mentioned in the rules, results from Friday's matches may be posted on Monday. It just depends on if I'm not too busy on Friday nights to post the results. I was busy Friday night.
Also, I'm not posting the results yet in this post because I actually haven't tallied them yet. I think I'm prolonging the inevitable Anime Series New category. It would seem most likely Samurai Champloo beat Gungrave. I'm a bit saddened by this. Of course Samurai Champloo is an excellent anime. It's one of my faves in fact. But Gungrave is my second fave, just below Trigun. (Yay Yasuhiro Nightow!) ^_^
I tend to wonder if it could be also that not as many people have seen Gungrave yet. I may be wrong, though.
Anyway, I'll have the results in Monday's post along with Monday's matches.
My family and I may be able to stay in our house. There was a couple who looked at our house yesterday, and if they buy it they want to rent it out. So we are keeping our fingers crossed. Then we went to look at a house and it turned out to be a rather interesting experience. I'm not going to get into the details. All I can say is that it's amazing how particular property owners can be even though they are renting out a house that is much worse than what we are renting. I mean this house is bigger than the one we are renting, but it was in terrible condition. Since we have been looking around I have found myself in that situation a few times. I can't believe what some people are charging for rent, or their criteria to rent the place. When it's a dump compared to what we are in. By the way, the house we are in right now was built in 1995. It's a split-level, three bedroom, one and a half bath. We have actually made it into a four bedroom. It has a family room downstairs, which is the boys' room. We have taken pretty good care of it. There's a few minor things that need repaired. For example, our sliding screen door has a huge hole in it because my 4 year old, over the last 3 years of living here, wore a hole there because that was the approximate reach for her. But that's no big deal really. We haven't done any great damage to the place. I think that most owners should be happy to have people like us in their homes. It would appear that they had terrible tenants before. Which I suppose would make them doubt anyone who comes to look at their home as a potential tenant. I had actually thought about taking pics of my current home, and showing it to owners of homes we look at. Just to show them that we do take care of our home. But I may not have to worry about it. Since we may be able to stay here.
Well, I suppose I've rambled on enough. I'm gonna go visit sites now. Take care.

APRIL FOOL'S! ^_^

Well, today we had people take a look at our house. I don't think they are going to buy it though. Just for the fact that they were driving a Cadillac Escalade and this is not that kind of neighborhood. We are a middle-class neighborhood. Minivans, Pick-ups(late model), average mid-size cars, etc. No luxury vehicles in this neighborhood. So, I just can't imagine they would be interested. I may be wrong. But I'm hoping they aren't interested. We still have to find a place for ourselves. o_O
Ok, on to the Otakubowl. Here's Thursday's results.
Cowboy Bebop(10) vs Neon Genesis Evangelion(2)
Fullmetal Alchemist(9) vs Naruto(4)
Princess Mononoke(8) vs Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' On Heaven's Door(4)
Naruto(4) vs Black Cat(7)
HALO(1) vs Final Fantasy VII(seven)(9)
The one I had a hard time with is the movie category. I love both of those movies. But, I went with Princess Mononoke. The way I look at it is that I like two other movies in this category even better than those two. So, it doesn't really matter which one moves on to me.
Ok, here's Friday's matches.
Anime Series Old
Card Captor Sakura vs Outlaw Star
Anime Series New
Samurai Champloo vs Gungrave
Movie
Spirited Away vs Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
Manga
Godchild vs Fruits Basket
Video Game
Kingdom Hearts vs Devil May Cry
Yes, in the movie category there are two Miyazaki movies up against each other. Interesting huh? What even more interesting is that there were four Miyazaki movies nominated and all four made it to the second rounds. Yay for Miyazaki! ^_^
Well, I'm gonna get this thing posted so everyone has the maximum voting time. Have a great Friday all. Take care.

I'm so sorry that I didn't get to everyone's sites on Wednesday. I had planned on doing it in the evening when I normally finish up visiting those that I hadn't visited. But my son had a friend staying the night and they wanted to go to Hastings (like Borders). And of course, you put myself and two boys the ages of 9 and 10 in a store like that?! We weren't going anywhere too quick. I spent most of my time looking at anime, manga, video games, and some action figures. They have this super cool action figure from the movie, The Crow. I want it! But it's $40 and I just don't have $40 to spare right now.
Ok, let's get on to the Otakubowl. Here's the results from the last of the first round matches.
Rurouni Kenshin(11) vs Rose of Versailles(1)
Hajime no Ippo(1) vs s-CRY-ed(10)
Akira(4) vs Howl's Moving Castle(9)
Hikaru no Go(3) vs Shaman King(9)
Kingdom Hearts 2(4) vs Gran Turismo(5)
That last one, I said, "I'll be damned." ^_^
I have a feeling next year some of these matches could turn out differently. Though, next year they won't necessarily be the same matches. Or even the same titles. I know some will always be a title nominated. And yes, I plan on doing this next year, and the next, and so on... ^_^
Ok, here's Thursday's matches. The beginning of Round 2 matches. Some of these are going to be tough. I don't want people wimping out on me and saying, "I can't vote, because I can't decide." Nope! None of that. =P
Anyway, here they are.
Anime Series Old
Cowboy Bebop vs Neon Genesis Evangelion
Anime Series New
Fullmetal Alchemist vs Naruto
Movie
Princess Mononoke vs Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' On Heaven's Door
Manga
Naruto vs Black Cat
Video Game
HALO vs Final Fantasy VII(seven)
And there you have it. Happy voting. ^_^ And may the best titles win.
Ok, I'm gonna head out to visit people. Take care.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I had a record turn out this time around. I received the most comments I have ever received since I joined. (I think) 20 comments! Woohoo! And most of them were votes. So thank you so much everyone for voting. (Hmmm, I wonder if they know how grateful I am?) ^_^
Ok, I'm not going to bore you with my uneventful life. So, I'll just get on with the Otakubowl.
Here's the results from Tuesday's matches.
Tenchi Muyo(3) vs Trigun(15)
Tie Match
Paranoia Agent(8) vs .hack//SIGN(8)
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children/Last Order(13) vs X(2)
Death Note(6) vs Saiyuki(9)
Final Fantasy VIII(eight)(13) vs Battle for Middle Earth(2)
Ok, so there's one tie match there. So com'on people I need one more vote to break that tie. Get your mother, father, brother, sister, neighbor... hell, get your dog to vote. Haha! Seriously, though. Wednesday is the last day for the first round matches. Starting Thursday it goes into the second round matches. (Check the line-up at the top of the page.) So, I can't have any ties lingering. Anyone who did not vote on Tuesday's matches is eligible to break the tie match.
Now on to Wednesday's matches.
Anime Series Old
Rurouni Kenshin vs Rose of Versailles
Anime Series New
Hajime no Ippo vs s-CRY-ed
Movie
Akira vs Howl's Moving Castle
Manga
Hikaru no Go vs Shaman King
Video Game
Kingdom Hearts 2 vs Gran Turismo
And there you have them. I know Kingdom Hearts 2 just came out Tuesday. But it was nominated. So, hopefully enough people have played it so far. If not, and it loses. Well, there's always next year. I'm not sure how that one is going to turn out. It could get a lot considering it's popularity. Or not very many due to it's release date. Well, happy voting everyone.
And that's all from me. Take care.
Catcha later...
[Edit] Tie is over with one vote for .hack//SIGN. Thanks, Sakabato Samurai! ^_^ [Edit]

I'm a little late updating. I wanted to get this posted right at 9 p.m. my time (midnight Eastern). I have a good excuse though. I was watching the movie Unleashed with Jet Li. What an awesome movie. And I'm a big Jet Li fan.
Ok, onto the Otakubowl. Here's the results from Monday's matches.
Record of Lodoss War(2) vs Yu Yu Hakusho(13)
Inuyasha(9) vs Last Exile(5)
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust(4) vs Naruto the Movie(7)
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind(8) vs Gantz(4)
Super Mario Bros.(4) vs The Legend of Zelda(7)
I haven't mentioned much about where my votes go. So I will just say on this one that I had to vote for Inuyasha because I've never seen Last Exile. I wish I didn't have to. From what I've heard Last Exile is a good one. And to be honest I'm not a huge Inuyasha fan.
As for the Video Game category. I voted for Super Mario Bros. I have finished that game a few times now. ^_^ And it's one of those really fun games to play. You know, I actually messed up the game once by grabbing that little yellow rabbit and I ended up losing it somehow. I couldn't finish the game because since I lost it, I couldn't catch it the second time. o_O
Anyway, I'll get on to today's matches.
Anime Series Old
Tenchi Muyo vs Trigun
Anime Series New
Paranoia Agent vs .hack//SIGN
Movie
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children/Last Order vs X
Manga
Death Note vs Saiyuki
Video Game
Final Fantasy VIII(eight) vs Battle for Middle Earth
And there you have it. There's some good titles there.
And thanks for all the kind words about my family having to move. I'm sure everything will work out just fine.
I also got some good news recently. We might be going to Disneyland this summer. My brother lives in Anaheim, CA. He is working there. So, he has invited us down this summer. It's something we are going to have to see if it's feasible. Since we are having to move. We'll have to try and save up for it. But I'm really hoping we can.
Well, that's all for now. Take care.
