   One more for the road...
Ok, here's post #2 in just a few hours time. Woohoo!...aren't you proud of me?
Well, I went to sites and cleared my guilty conscience. And after this post, who knows how long it will be til my next.
Things will be getting pretty hectic in these final weeks of the semester. So, that's why you may not see me too much. I'll see what I can do.
Well, my absence from Otaku has paid off in some sense. I have actually been doing awesome in my classes. (With the exception of Networking, don't even get me started on that.)
I had an Algebra test, got a 92%, HTML test in my Internet class, got a 95%, and a test in Systems Analysis and Design, I got a 98%!
I have come to realize that Web Design is definitely what I was cut out for. No one else seems to comprehend HTML. Me, I love it! I'm like, give me more! My instructor thinks that I need to get into more programming languages. I think she's right!
Anyway, same old bullshit from the college. I'm hearing that we stand a good chance of winning the fight against administration, but then I hear that it won't happen. The college sent me some other options, which include going to a community college that is about 30 miles from here. Now, the program they have at this other college sounds like a good one, but it's a full load. Currently, I am taking 12 credits. If I go to this other college, I will have to take between 15-20 credits. This may not sound like a big deal to some of you, but keep in mind that I am a wife and mom of 4. Plus if I have to drive 30 miles, that takes out an additional hour and a half from my day, that time is valuable to me.
So, I don't know what my future holds as far as my educational goals. I have just about had it up to here with all of this crap. If I think about it too much then it affects my ability to concentrate on the things I'm working on now. So, I try not to think about it.
Oh yeah, by the way...the college newspaper had an article about the program cuts and I was one of the students quoted in it. Pretty cool, huh?

Let's see...not much else worth mentioning. The weather has finally been getting a lot better around here. We took a walk on the boardwalk on Friday after I got out of class.
A lot of things going on in my life still suck, but hey it's not all bad, it's somewhere around 75% bad, 25% good.
Well, I'm gonna head out. Take care everyone! I'll see you around off and on in the next few weeks.
Catcha later...
