Hehe, how'd you like what I did for April Fool's? I couldn't really find out reactions because I had no link for comments. Though, with the nifty permalink thing, there was a way around that. Something I hadn't realized until Sunday morning. If one really wanted to you just had to right-click on my site and view my source code. Locate the URL for the permalink and then open that. Which would've showed the actual post. You didn't miss anything in that post. I just put a large "April Fool's ^_^".
Sorry I haven't posted the results from Friday's matches in the Otakubowl. As I mentioned in the rules, results from Friday's matches may be posted on Monday. It just depends on if I'm not too busy on Friday nights to post the results. I was busy Friday night.
Also, I'm not posting the results yet in this post because I actually haven't tallied them yet. I think I'm prolonging the inevitable Anime Series New category. It would seem most likely Samurai Champloo beat Gungrave. I'm a bit saddened by this. Of course Samurai Champloo is an excellent anime. It's one of my faves in fact. But Gungrave is my second fave, just below Trigun. (Yay Yasuhiro Nightow!) ^_^
I tend to wonder if it could be also that not as many people have seen Gungrave yet. I may be wrong, though.
Anyway, I'll have the results in Monday's post along with Monday's matches.
My family and I may be able to stay in our house. There was a couple who looked at our house yesterday, and if they buy it they want to rent it out. So we are keeping our fingers crossed. Then we went to look at a house and it turned out to be a rather interesting experience. I'm not going to get into the details. All I can say is that it's amazing how particular property owners can be even though they are renting out a house that is much worse than what we are renting. I mean this house is bigger than the one we are renting, but it was in terrible condition. Since we have been looking around I have found myself in that situation a few times. I can't believe what some people are charging for rent, or their criteria to rent the place. When it's a dump compared to what we are in. By the way, the house we are in right now was built in 1995. It's a split-level, three bedroom, one and a half bath. We have actually made it into a four bedroom. It has a family room downstairs, which is the boys' room. We have taken pretty good care of it. There's a few minor things that need repaired. For example, our sliding screen door has a huge hole in it because my 4 year old, over the last 3 years of living here, wore a hole there because that was the approximate reach for her. But that's no big deal really. We haven't done any great damage to the place. I think that most owners should be happy to have people like us in their homes. It would appear that they had terrible tenants before. Which I suppose would make them doubt anyone who comes to look at their home as a potential tenant. I had actually thought about taking pics of my current home, and showing it to owners of homes we look at. Just to show them that we do take care of our home. But I may not have to worry about it. Since we may be able to stay here.
Well, I suppose I've rambled on enough. I'm gonna go visit sites now. Take care.
Catcha later...
