And the winners are...
We had a tie! And to top it off, the comment system was under maintenance. I couldn't post until I checked the comments one last time. There were no new comments. So, the tie still remained. Of course at this point you are wondering, "What category?!" I just wanted to keep you in suspense. Also, since the next and final match depends on the results of this tie match, I had to resort to an alternate source. The alternate source being my husband. And the tie was between Trigun and Cowboy Bebop. Yes, my husband has seen both of them. And no, he was not biased because of my preference. He went with Trigun.

So, I can officially give the results of the final matches of the Otakubowl.

That was intense! Three of the five categories won by one vote. And my hubby did not vote on any of the others, only the Trigun/Bebop match. So the rest of them that ended in a one vote difference was all your votes.

And now, one last match. This is for the Ultimate Clash Between Old and New. The winner of the Anime Series Old will battle it out against the winner of the Anime Series New. I'm going to keep this match going all weekend. I will post the results on Monday. So, I introduce to you the champions of the Anime Series Old and Anime Series New categories.
