Life Is Good (Part II)
Ok, so here's the continuation of my last post. I got to most sites. But I kept running into a lot of interruptions. So, if you visit me and I didn't visit you, let me know. I apologize.

Anyway, I have been like super busy with my new job. I'll explain what I do. Ok, most of you know I moved back in May. Well, the property management company we were renting through at our old house (which we had rented for 3 and a half years) hired me to do cleaning. We clean some commercial businesses (like offices and such). Then we clean some residentials (homes that people live in). We clean our own rentals when people move out of them. And then what is keeping us really busy this time of year is our vacation rentals. Where I live, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is a major tourist location here in Northern Idaho. So, we have some pretty fancy vacation homes that are rented out during the summer months. And here's the big news. Just a week ago I was promoted to Training Supervisor. Basically, I'm training to take over for the current Supervisor because she's 6 months pregnant and is leaving in September. That's when I take over as Supervisor. (This happens to me a lot.) As much as I hate to admit it, I'm really good at this line of work. So, consequently I usually move up fast. It means better pay. But my dreams of doing Web Design are pretty much gone. I can't even find the time to create a simple page on the side. I have no spare time. We have been working 5-6 days a week. And 8-10 hour days. My paychecks are good. But I'm beat!

The good news is that since my paychecks are good, we have been enjoying days off a little more. And the best news of all. Well, it's good news because something not so good happened first.

A couple of months ago our Playstation One broke. Ok, so we are a little behind in the gaming department. We have a Nintendo 64 and had the PS1. But when that broke, all we had was the Nintendo 64. And of course, we have a good friend from our last neighborhood, who's 18 (his name's Josh), who has an XBox. He'd bring that over almost everyday. But I wasn't into any of the games he had. (Not that I have time to play games anyway.)
Okay, so here's the good news I was getting to. My husband goes to a yard sale and bought a PS2 and two games. The two games are ATV: Offroad Fury 2, and Devil May Cry 2. I'm really excited to try out Devil May Cry 2. Though, I don't know when I'll have the time to play it. Eventually, I'll check it out. Plus we have my favorite PS1 games: Legend of Dragoon (all-time fave), and Final Fantasy VIII. I will probably get my hands on FFVII eventually as well. My 7 year old loves Final Fantasy, and he'd really like to try 7 as well. And of course we will probably get Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2. We also have a few other PS1 games to play.

Anyway, that's what's been going on with me. I haven't seen much anime lately either. I just hope all of this hard work will pay off later in life. I know what I'm gonna do when I retire. I'll be sitting either watching anime or playing the video games I didn't get to play. ^_^
And I'll be too old to do much housework, so my kids will have to clean my house for me and do my laundry and such. Paybacks are a bitch, huh? LOL! XD

And to top it off, we have been hitting record high temps here. We don't have central air in our tri-level home. Just a small room air conditioner in our bedroom. The reason we have it in our room is because it is the room that is upstairs and faces the west. It gets the most sun exposure. So, it's the hottest room in the house. It stays quite cool with the AC, though. ^_^

Well, I'm gonna end this post. I was a little late in posting it. And I'm sorry. I don't know when I'll have the time to update or visit again. I'll drop in from time to time. I hope everyone has a happy, and safe 4th of July. (Or atleast those of you who are from the U.S.) For those of you who are not, have a great day anyway. ^_^

Take care my friends.
Catcha later...
