Mortal Kombat-...
You ever had the feeling that something is too good to be true even though at the time it seems like the dumbest phrase ever cause really you can never have too much.
Never take good looks at face value it can come back and bite you in the ass. For example there was this girl that I really almost loved. She was beautiful. Her attitude was just as pretty. There was one problem...
-Extreme lack of open-mindedness!
I can catch on to things very quickly. And this was something I "felt" from the get....
Just recently, it reared its ugly head in the form of the "What's 'right' and 'wrong'"....
See I'm on the debate team and I'm very good (great) at what I do and Tuesday was no different...
I entered the room blue from head to toe. Keep in mind I had a white hat on with a blue du rag. Well, during the debate the judge interupts the match to say "You need to take that hat off!". (My two-sidedness Gemini qualities that usually saves my ass comes in to play) I'm thinking: what the hell is wrong with me having a hat on!!!!!
I say, "Okay. Whatever." take the hat off. ( I so hate conforming especially for no earthly reason...)
I go up do my thing and sit down thinking it's in the bag. Some other side of my brain juts in with one of those strange "feelings".

We lose!
One of the reasons....
MY HAT!!!!!!!!!

WTF!!!!!!!!

She said I came in with the wrong attitude..... (I came in the room smiling!)
Said she got a bad first impression.... (It's what you say that counts not how you look....)

Now remember what I said about the girl being too good to be true.... she showed her true colors....
She agreed with us losing because of the hat and she actually believed that me wearing a hat was "disrespectful"!
ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD!
REMEMBER THAT!!!!!

And remember individualism > society.
(thanks Terra Zero also on the team)
