Being the New Kid
Signing up to a new site is like being the new kid to me. People will ignore you, your page will get no vistors for a while, and your opinions may cease to matter because you're new. Some of these people have been on this site for years--I just signed up today. I am slightly tempted to read and comment forums, though at the same time, scared I may be shunned for being new. Perhaps I am being paranoid (I wouldn't doubt it). In the future, I may also (gasp!) give links to my fanfiction; that is, if anyone cares, of course. Well, all I have to say is that I am a fairly nice person (from what I've been told) and that I would love to speak with anyone who wishes to speak with me.
