more manga and anime, please
i've now also joined otakuboards and i've been reading about all these series i didn't know excisted (i'm used to that as i'm still new to all this)
what made me mad though were all the discussions about series you can see on tv in america. The only things i can see on telly are pokemon, yu-gi-oh, hamtaro and shin-chan! They did run some better series a while ago (gundam wing and cyborg 009) but they stopped cyborg 009 before it even finished!!
Okay, so maybe you can't see anything on tv, but there's still dvd's i hear you think. Well let me tell you, the offer of dvd's is as bad as the tv offer. Okay, you have more choice, but my local store only has about twenty dvd's (so they have less then twenty titels) at the most. The nearest bigger store has about double that amount and that's it.
As for the manga offer, let's not go into that one, okay. It's not worth mentioning.
Import dvd's are way to expensive. The only import i can afford is that of manga, but it's hard to get hold of.
Things have been improving for the past few years, but it's still not good enough.
So to all the publishers who publish in Holland:
we want more manga!!!
