Mission accomplished! (and then some...)
Well, we went to the mall. Or rather, I did. My mom refused to go in since it was raining. I told her that was fine, I'd just brave the cold rain and horny old men alone. Am I the only girl here who just feels seriously creeped out at the mall alone and guys are all looking at you? Oh, well.

But anyhoo. I made it to the bookstore in one piece (though my hair was a complete mess. It goes all curly and frizzy when it gets wet...) and started browsing the manga section. I saw Saiyuki vol. 3 (and I only got the second last week) so I picked it up and started looking around. Suddenly, this person comes up behind and is like "That's a good one. It's pretty funny." I musta jumped about a foot and a half into the air before I realized it wasn't someone about to attack me (what can I say, I'm paranoid when left alone in public places ^_^')! It was a girl about my age and we talked for quite awhile, recommending different mangas to each other. I ended up walking out with the third volume of Fushigi Yugi and Saiyuki, and I _almost_ bought the first volume of Hikaru no Go (I think that's how you spell it...) but decided I had already spent too much, and didn't need to go flat broke on one trip to the store.

By the time I finally got back to the car, my mom had decided I'd met up with "Carlos" again. (some 30-some thing year old Mexican guy who started hitting on me once before and as I understand it, he was put in jail for making out with a twelve year later that month)Anyway, she was so happy to see me, she drove up to the front of the store so I wouldn't have to walk in the rain. Ok, she woulda done that anyway, I think, but whatever.

Well, Imma go now. BTW, is the plural of manga, mangas? Or would it be like "sheep" and "deer" and not change? Hmm. I dunno...

Well,while Flueky's in Germany, I'm here in Tennessee helping my mom babysit my little cousin. Lovely. Not to say the kid is badly behaved (actually, he's been practically an angel all day...Watch, now I've jinxed it...) It's just that I had to be up at five-thirty this morning, and since then I've done just about nothing but watch Sesame Street and Barney.

Mom's promised that we can go to the mall afterwards, which is a good thing, since I need to pick up the volume of Fushigi Yugi I ordered last week. Have I mentioned that those poor ladies working at the bookstore hate it when you try to order manga? It's kinda funny though...

Other than that...It's been a highly boring week. I'm peeling from the sunburn I got earlier this week. I feel like a giant lizard or something *nodnod*

Yep, I'm sixteen ^__^
I'm finally sixteen! And though I don't even have my driver's permit yet, I do have....a CELL PHONE!!! ^___^ My dad got it for me for my birthday. I'm still trying to work out all the nifty little features it has...

We went to the pool yesterday. Just to give you an idea of how easily I burn, let me say this. I had on SPF 45 sunblock, and we were only there for maybe an hour at most. And I'm still burnt to the point that my skin's gonna peel. Geez, forget ever getting a tan, I'd probably end up skinless before I even changed color!

Well, other than that...Flueky's not here anymore *cries* But we can still talk on messenger and stuff. Bye, Flueky! Have a good time!!

Well, it's 3:30 and I've accomplished... pretty much nothing. I think I'm going out to eat dinner w/ my grandparents at Justin's. Yum ^_^

I am also attempting to excersize a bit more. I rode that bike thing my mom has for awhile (not very long, the seat's too high and it starts making my arse sore after awhile ^_^')

Well, the date for my b-day party's set. Imma have a sleepover and a homemade cake with 16 candles, not the candles with the one and the six, that's cheating...

Got a call from a person I haven't heard from in about oh, 4 years or so. Nothing's changed, she still has nothing to say, and neither do I. *sigh* Dunno why either of us bother...

*glares at Flueky* You, my friend, are a very bad influence. We went to the mall today, and I had no intention of buying anything. But then we got to the bookstore (I swear, that store could probably stay open on Flueky and my business alone...) and I was looking to see if they had the next volume of any of my mangas out. They didn't and I was gonna leave, but my hand suddenly became possessed, grabbed the first vol. of X and promptly forced me to the counter to pay for it. And now I'm not sure if I have enough money for the first vol. of Fushigi Yugi, which sucks... (Speaking of which, I was looking at the fanart and got a fairly major spoiler for FY, *cries* Oh, well, I'll get over it, I guess...)

BUT! My mamaw made about $170 off of her yardsale, so I should have plenty when we split that up. So I guess I can forgive myself for my impulsivness this once.

We still haven't heard from the people about what they'll give us to move. Gya, this is killing me, and my friends, too. I wish they'd just make up their minds...

   In the news....
Lessee... Yesterday, my friend Mitzy read my post about how I might be moving. I meant to tell her myself when things were a bit more definite but... Oh, well. She took it pretty well, said she understood and all.

My mom told me about how my Mimi and Papa were bragging on me. Mom told them I had been very mature about the whole possibility of moving thing and my papa said "Of course she was, she's got a good head on her shoulders." Then my aunt Deborah (my least favorite, btw) said I'd have pitched a fit if I had a boyfriend I was madly in love with, and my aunt Sheila (probably my favorite) said "Nah, she's smart enough to know that whatever boyfriend she had won't even matter a few years from now." It's nice to hear that people think well of you ^_^

Um...I'll be looking good at the beach this summer ^_^(well... provided I don't blind anybody. I am notoriously the whitest person on this planet...). I got a new bathing suit yesterday *nodnod* My first ever two piece. It's one of those tankini things. Very cool. (Why am I writing about my new bathing suit here? Oh, well, people have put weirder stuff on the net, I guess)

And last but not least, my friend Anna's B-day party is today ^_^ Yay! I get to spend the night at her house, which is cool cuz I hardly ever get to see her anymore...
