Furuba Wisdom
This is a hilarious video, especially so if you listen to the words. A previous knowledge of Furuba is not required to understand, though it is somewhat funnier.

This is something all you Zodiac fanatics might find interesting-
I may not be exactly right on all the reasons why and how, but there IS an actual thirteenth western zodiac sign, one that's not included in the 12 traditional ones.
What happened was, each constellation is a different size, so the sun doesn't pass through each sign equally. It stays in some signs longer than others, and each astronomer had his own ideas about where the boundaries for each constellation should be. They finally settled things about 60 years ago when the international Astronomical Union published a set of official specifications that tells where each sign begins and ends.
The new boundaries that were drawn somehow added in another constellation, and it was found that the sun traveled through 13 constellations, not 12.
This thriteenth constellation is known as Ophiuchus, the Snake Bearer. However, Ophiuchus was never really recognized as part of the zodiac, since doing so would throw off all the other dates of the other zodiac signs and the days would be shared unequally.
If you were born between November 30th and December 17th, then you are an Ophiuchus. There are different versions of the story of Ophiuchus, but the most common says that he was a healer who found the secret to eternal life from watching a snake as it brought herbs to heal one of its mates. In order to keep the healer from turning all of humanity immortal, Zeus killed him, but put him in the heavens for his noble work.
Hello, all
Well, I'm busy with work, school and Christmas shopping. Thanks to the work, I have money to shop, at least, even if I don't have the time.
I also picked up the next four volumes of Getbackers, which is a very cool manga that you should try, especially if you like panties. Not that I do. In fact, I hate panties. I have to straighten up about five hundred pairs of pre-worn panties every night at work.
BTW, in chemistry we all got gummi bears and cinnamon things, so I'm on somewhat of a sugar rush. You can bet I'll probably crash soon, since that's all I've eaten so far today and I'm running on about four hours of sleep after trying to (illegaly) tape Nightwalker off of a DVD I rented from Blockbuster.
I plan on giving something to my bookstore cashier people, since they're so nice and patient with me when I order, and they often have to put up with me multiple times a day. You think they'd think I was weird if I handed them a tin of cookies or something?
Random Quote of the Day: "It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things."
Been awhile since I've actually posted, ne?
Well, in case I've forgotten to mention things, I have a job, and a car (but no liscence), and I still dunno what I'm doing about college (but I'm working on it).
That said, did everyone have a happy Thanksgiving? I did (though there was a low point earlier in the day- my dad told me to vaccuum today and I had just done it last night so I didn't see the point; there was a pretty big argument over that...). The food was good and all, too.
Sadly, it's back to life as usual tomorrow. I hafta be in to work at seven in the morning and I'll get off at three. And I've heard that the day after thanksgiving is a baaad day for stores. So we'll see how I fare, I suppose.
In respect to that, let me mention the things I'm thankful for, the things that get me through the rough times.
There's my family (sometimes a pain, but usually the best thing I've got going for me).
There's anime/manga/books/videogames and others such things. Without those, I'd go crazy with no way to de-stress.
And of course, my friends.
There's Darke Angel, or Phil. He's right here in the MyO neighborhood and he's as sweet and cool a guy as you could ever hope to meet. Plus, he's got a killer accent ^_~ Thanks, Darke. You brighten my life.
There's Amber, or Flueky. She's here on MyO too. I've known her forever, and while we may have had our rough times, she's always there for me when I'm feeling down. Thanks, Meeber ^_^
There's Britty, too. She's such a cheerful, optimistic person, you really can't be depressed around her. She's a major sweetheart to boot ^_^ Thank you, Britty.
And there's Mindy, or Mitzy as she's known here. She's an e-card master, and she can make me laugh like no other. And trust me, you can always use a good laugh. She's sweet, but she has a kick-butt personality when it comes to defending her friends. Thanks to you, too, Mindy ^_^
In fact, thanks to all you guys out there that have brightened my life somehow. Whether you voted on my pics or sent my greetings, whether I know you in real life and you've waved to me or said hi (or whether I know you from work and you've helped me fold panties) I want you to know that I appreciate everything you've done for me. Thanks so much to you all!
^^;
Been awhile since I last updated, I know...Been awhile since I last commented too, huh? Sorry...
Well, this has been an eventful week. Wednesday was our last day of school. One of my guy friends came to pick me up to go see a midnight showing of the Star Wars movie. First time a guy has ever come to pick me up...Too bad he has a boyfriend... His boyfriend's pretty cool, though. He likes a lot of the same anime I do ^_^ Anyway. The movie was really fun.
Then, Friday, we invited my friend Mitzy to spend the night, and we went to drop a CD off at my aunt's house since they live near each other. Didn't expect to find a kitten in the wall when we went to see their new den. That's what we found, though. Took a good bit of work to get it out of there, too. It's really little.
That's her, there. Or him. It's too little to tell right now. It's so little, it has to be bottle fed about every 4 hours. It can't even potty on it's own. You have to actually help it do that. So I'm up at about four am each morning with a cotton ball, 'encouraging' the little booger to do it's business and eat. Not fun...
Well, I hope you guys are doing ok ^_^
Edit: My cousin in South Carolina is apparently, having her baby now. She's already got one, now she's having this one a month early... She doesn't know exactly who the father is, either -_- Too much excitement lately... Comments (4) |

*cries*
Wanna talk depressing? Here's depressing. My one of the best friends I've ever had is graduating in two days. I may well never see him again. And then, a boy from my school suddenly up and dies from a broken leg. That's sad enough, but then I find out that I actually had class with him and never realized it. I mean, I just feel so guilty because I never took the time to talk to him or even say hello, and now he's dead. They came into our class, the counselors did. They're going to all of his classes to talk to the students and offer condolences and stuff. So many people were crying...
Sorry I'm being so depressing. I'm not trying, I promise. I just wanna go home... Comments (9) |

New pics and new fics
Well, I have abut three new pics up. Check those out, if you would. ^_^ Thanks
And I've done some Mother's Day greetings. If you have any others you want to see, I can make one especially for you.
I told my mom about my sis on the inappropriate sites...that seems to be taken care of...
Sorry for the total halt on the fic v.v I may eventually get that back up. I got sidetracked by this other fic I've been working on off and on (describes how I work on just about everything, ne?) which will probably never see the light of day, due to the fact that it's largely influenced by an anime/manga I've never seen. Duh.
Anyway, hope you guys are doing alright, and I'll try to keep up with you better. Comments (5) |

So, what do you do when...
you figure out your little sister has been looking at porn, a lot of porn, lesbian and hentai porn, on the computer? She's ten, and in the history there's all these sites and I've certainly never seen them before. Unless my dad is up here looking for stuff (which I doubt, he has his own computer downstairs that we're never on) I have one hell of a... well... Gya, I understand curious, but she's even been searching for stuff on google.
Should I tell my parents? i mean, I don't wanna get her in trouble, and I sure as hell don't wanna talk to her about it myself, but it worries me that she's doing this, you know? We have no safegaurds on this computers. Maybe I should ask for some? My lord. My mind is just blown. My innocent little sister...seems she's not so innocent.
And if my parents look through the history they're gonna think it's me looking at this stuff!
Sorry for the rant, I'm just... I needed to get that out of my system... Comments (8) |

Ack...
Sorry, guys, I'm running behind on the story and especially people's posts. Especially Darke, Akayo, Kari Asota, and Nikorasu v.v Sorry guys!
I'll catch up on that when I can. It's fun when you find out other people like anime at your school. Apparently, the person who sits at my desk 2nd period likes Yu Yu Hakusho, and he/she is working on a yaoi story for it o.O (finding notes is interesting...) Comments (8) |
