Gyaa, internet is not being so nice. I did have a nice long post, until it shut down without submitting it. I think I jinxed myself or something. Anyway, I have four new pics up. Yes, my scaner is now up, after, what, 2 or 3 months? Yup, finally did it myself. Shouldda done sooner, but oh well. Sorry I haven't been around much. Me and Mitzy are working on a crossover fic. I think we have almost ten different animes in there. Inuyasha, Evangelion, Gundam Wing, Fushigi Yugi, Saiyuki, DNAngel, Chobits, probably a few I'm forgetting... Me and Mitzy are psychologists/shrinks, and all kinds of disturbed characters come to see us. I'll post it when we get done, if you're interested.

Back to school again. Yippee. And I already have homework... But I guess it might not be so bad, considering. I have psychology, which should be fun, earth and space science, which should be easy, newspaper, and Spanish. So. Anyway, I need to get working. Mitzy! Help me out with this homework!

Happy New Years ^_^
Mitzy, Britt, and Flueky are coming over for a new years party at my house. Should be fun ^_^

I like "Engrish" as they call it, especially in manga and anime, so here are a few good ones from www.crieghton.edu/~sadira/look

I don't know if you can see it very well, but in the third episode of Dragonball GT, Trunks is reading Cosmo...

This is from Hellsing episode 7, I think. Hellsing's security certainly is blunt.

LOOK...

^_^ Maybe it's only me, but I found them pretty funny...

Christmas Aftermath...
We are offically declaring our house a disaster area. Boxes, giftwrap, and various other junk is just laying everywhere. I got most everything I wanted, too ^_^ I have about $45 in Books-a-Million giftcards as well, so I won't be short on manga for awhile, I think. I got the new Inuyasha PS2 game. I've only played a little, and it's...well, cute. Everyone is all chibi. The anime scenes are well done, but the dialogue...sucks. Majorly. The first demon that attacks you actually says, "I'm gonna eat you. Roar!" and Kagome sounds like a therapist. Every other line she has is, "I see." But I really can't judge it yet, since I've only played about half an hour of it.

I got a Tamagotchi, you know, those little digital pets? It's cute ^_^ And I have a DVD recorder. We can't figure out how to hook it up yet, but once we do, it should be very cool. I also have clothes out the wazoo. What is a wazoo anyway? It doesn't sound nice for some reason...

Ok, anyway. ^_^ Hope you guys had a great Christmas. *runs off to "tinker" with new DVD recorder*

Hey people ^_^
Been doing alright recently. It's Christmas Eve Eve. *nodnod* And we're still shopping. The mall is crazy, I swear I think half the people in Tennessee have gathered at our mall. Which reminds me, I saw a car with a "sp33k l33t" bumper sticker from Megatokyo. It was funny, since I've wanted a bumper sticker like that for awhile now. ^_^ It also had a window cling thing, that one cat from Azumanga Daioh, I think. Or maybe I'm thinking of something else. I dunno. Anyhoo.

I'm babysitting Mitzy's fish, as well as her sister's. Wonder how much I should charge them. I mean, fish are so much trouble to care for, you know. Oh, I already have one of my Christmas presents. It's a futon! It's like a sleeper sofa type thing, only way more comfortable. I had fun with Flueky putting it together.

I'm in a generally good mood now (watch me jinx myself...). Been playing video games and all. Very fun. The only complaint I have is that dad still won't hook up our scanner >_< You should hear all the excuses he uses for not hooking it up. None of them make sense. *sigh* But oh well.

In the meantime, I guess I'll just stick to greetings. Merry Christmas Eve Eve all ^_^!

*falls asleep*
Geez, long day, and it's almost 12:30 in the morning, and my hair's not dried, and I feel sucky and depressed in general. I forgot to make my bed this morning (whoop-dee-freaking-doo) so dad fussed at me. Mom rolled her eyes at him, cuz she doesn't see why he gets so ticked about it (and I don't either) which started something of an argument between them. I heard part of it, Dad said something about I was pathetic, I couldn't even remember to make a bed, which really hurt. Which made me feel more pathetic, since I know there are plenty other people out there who deal with worse things than being called pathetic, and here I was all upset by it. So I went outside before I could hear anymore and start crying, and thank goodness, the black and white cat that comes to our porch was there. I love that thing to death. I stayed outside and happily froze my @ss off while I petted it for half an hour. After all, it was better than being in the house listening to my dad complain about what a terrible kid I was because I forgot to make my bed.

Anyway, sorry for the rant. I'm tired, and irked, and just had to get it out of my system. Gya. And my dad won't hook up my scanner either. Last time I asked if he could get it hooked up before Christmas, he just said no. So. I'm happy (please note sarcasm). And we are staying at a hotel in south carolina while we visit relatives, so that makes me even happier (more sarcasm).

Question of the day: After you complain and b1tch about your life, do you feel like you really don't have a right to because you know others have it worse than you?

It's beginning to smell a lot like Christmas...
We have our tree now, and the house is smelling suitably piney. We also have the Cinnamon air fresheners going full blasy, and the scent of our not-a-fruitcake thing. It looks like fruitcake, but it's not. Or something. Christmas parties are going on all over the school, as well. I am beginning to get into the holiday spirit ^_^ I love holiday smells.

In other news, my finals are tomorrow, so wish me luck. I may well need it.

*sniffle sniffle*
Argh, my nose. I've been through an entire box of tissues already this week...And now I'm getting a cough too. I hope it doesn't turn into bronchitis or something.

And last night probably didn't help me much either. I realized those Eva DVDs have to go back to Blockbuster today, so I was trying to get all those recorded for my friend. I'd put one in, sleep for an hour and a half, then put in the next one and repeat the process. The eighth DVD finally finished recording at exactly the time I usually get up for school. Needless to say, I'm a lil tired.

This weekend will be busy, I think. Between birthday parties and Christmas parties and Christmas trees and shopping and homework...sheesh! Wish me luck, guys!

And I have had it with the whole scanner thing. I'm serious, the day I was out, I was gonna try to hook it up myself, and I can't find it. I mean, come on! The thing is a big old honking piece of computer equipment, where could it be hiding, for crying out loud?! Arghhhh...*cries in frustration*

v.v Imma go take me and my frustrated, exasperated self to some happy place away from here, where they have scanners....

   -_-
Yup, I'm skipping school again. I have a really sore throat and I just feel crappy in general. I'm afraid I might be coming down with strep or something...Which would be not good, because the doctor threatened that the next time I got strep, he'd take out my tonsils, and I'd really rather not lose any parts of my anatomy.

In other news...Last Exile is back on TechTV or whatever they're calling it now. I really liked this show when they were playing it, so I'm pretty happy now that they're finishing it.

Hmmm, just a random question. Who's your favorite anime character ever?

*walks in looking and feeling psychologically disturbed*
Well, I managed to get all of Eva, subbed, on tape. I still haven't managed to watch all of it, but I what I did see of it was pretty....er...interesting. *nodnod* Especially toward the end there. I'll say more when I've actually watched the entire thing.

My friends are positive that this showed has caused some mental instability. See, we're supposed to write a short story telling about electric companies, so I was planning to write about a death row guy who didn't wanna think about his family in his last moments of life cuz they all suck, and so he finds himself thinking about the electric company who is supplying power to his electric chair. *nodnod*

Simple question of the day: What anime or manga, if any has made you cry? If there's more than one *raises hand*, name the one that made you cry the worst.

Tougher question: Pick the one person you love the most. If everyone in the world was going to die unless you yourself killed that person, could you do it?
