   vista or no vista, that is the question
hey there, how do you like my new... ah set-up? ^_^
I think some of you will recognize the new elements in here.... and if you've got something more than the 1024x768 screen, you'll see more of it ;-) it's kinda cropped down on my screen.

hmmm... Val, thanks for the support but if this goes on... next thing you'll know i'll be having tea-parties and book circles and the like *shudders* NAH!

Oh, have any of you submitted a fan manga yet? if yeah, how much *%&?*/&$&$ time do they need to post it?

I want to see mine get delivered BEFORE uni starts, like. bcoz after that... hmm, who knows when I'll be able to do any mods?

anyway, i've got most of it right now. if MyO kicks it, i'll just put it on photobucket and post it here. as usual. *sigh* why oh why do they hate me? *laments and wails*

Plus, another random thing that just popped in my head: do you have the new windows Vista?

   spick and span.
Oh, boy... what a trip.
I swear, this was the MOST boring Xmas and New Year I've ever had.

My aunt was moving to a new town, so I helped her out. We cleaned the place as soon as we got there and got some groceries the next day. I won't bore you much; suffice to say that the following days were pretty much like that, up until my return to Montreal.

Still, I started cleaning here with a vengeance. Today was the oven/microwave/toaster/pots-and-pans Scrubbing Day. I'm so happy they're squeaky clean now but ewww... I feel like a mess. Tomorrow's the living room and hopefully I'll be able to tackle the bathroom on the same day *crosses fingers*

Why this sudden bout of cleaning-madness so akin to its spring counterpart? Well, that's because it's my territory now, and i'm not sharing. Nope. Even the dust left behind has to go!

I just wish there was less of it.

Oh, guys, if you're going to Ottawa (said:OTToWA), bring some good books, all your drawing equipment, whatever keeps you amused. because there's absolutely NOTHING going on there. Even the shops are kinda boring, except for some.

I found some nice comic book shops that carry a load of nice stuff, plus some good art supplies shops.and then, zilch. Oh, if you like Chinatown, this should keep you amused for a couple of days until you've seen it all.

Bleh, found almost nothing decent ff7. ;_;
just the regular 'Emily', 'the Nightmare before christmas stuff'. Pretty, but not what i'm looking for.
I'm beginning to SERIOUSLY think about buying a bag and embroidering it myself with either a Cloudy Wolf or a Cerberus. *imagines yards of silver thread* oh, shiny....

*stops* Wait... am i getting homely or what? :-|

   going, going, GON!
Hello all of you, dear friends!

First off, sorry to bore those of you who don't know much about ff7... I can just get a little bit carried away sometimes :-p

Something good today: new fan art, this time it's the OC we'd been talking about some time ago ;-) Take a look at it and tell me what you think of it!

Next, I won't be online until the 2nd of January. I'll be out of town with my aunt (sooooooo fun. or NOT) :-(

But this is the beginning of a new life for me, since I'd be alone after that... just me, me, me, myself, and my madness! (oh, and Vincent!) XD

It was a world of night.
Yet no star shone in it. No breeze stirred the water’s surface; no moon gazed at her pale face in that dark mirror. However, ripples occasionally did mar that smooth surface of obsidian shadows turned liquid, like a ghostly hand playing on the invisible chords of an ancient harp.

Silence enfolded everything, from the soundless trickle of water falling from above, to the quiet murmur of ageless stone growing older with each passing second.

It was a world of night and nothing in it was free. Water, contained within the bowl of rocky shores, trapped and dying. Air, caught in a place where nothing needed it to survive and nothing enriched it by going back to the Planet. Sounds, muffled with the weight of the eras, mired and fading in the darkness within.

Death hovered over everything. Yet, here she was.

In the night, she shone like a beacon of peace, testimony to the most ardent of feelings, her coruscating form resting in the heart of the rarest of nature’s children: a column of pure Mako, grown from within the bowels of the planet, deep in the darkness of creation, rising from a lake of cold untainted water.

Pure, so beautiful, as exquisitely ethereal as one of Heaven’s angels, hands joined on her breast in prayer. A beautiful dreamer surrounded by light in a world of dark, her long lashes cast delicate shadows upon the soft perfection of her cheeks. Her long hair, bound with a yellow ribbon into a high ponytail, timidly exhibit her delicately shaped ears and the crystal earrings she loved to wear, while her bangs framed her face, encasing its painful loveliness in an auburn cascade.

His burning red irises gaze upon her, drinking their fill of the divine form before him. A goddess forever beyond the reach of a sinner such as he, Vincent Valentine, a dark form ghostly pale in the phantasmagorical lighting of the cave.

“Again… We meet again. Lucrecia…”

The softly spoken words echo around the cave, and for a moment, it seemed as if the immobile figure encased in Mako was speaking too, a fragile whisper from beyond the walls of death.

   theory, first shot
First off, wow... thanks for all the feedback, you're great! ^_^

Lilvalchan: you're absolutely AMAZING! Too bad one of us isn'T a guy... we'd have hit it off like a house on fire! No offence meant if you've got a bf :-p

Hmm. So Galian and co. could be monsters which exist within the lifestream? That sounds cool. And credible.

But another POV is that they are genetic mods that Hojo did on Vincent; let us bear in mind that this is his special domain, his pet hobby, call it whatever you like.
Meddling with genetics when he knows zilch about the subject is something we see him do throughout ff7.

I propose this theory: as Lilvalchan said, they existed once, but are no more. so extinct monsters. as dead as JENOVA. Add to that Hojo's special copyrighted sense of humour noir... Do you see where I'm heading? XD

So, Hojo grafted those dead monsters's cells in Vincent.

Theory continues: The limit break factor is important. Thanks, Val, for reminding me that it's defined as being the anger level. ;-)

Anger=loss of control + boost of power. What better conduit than that for a transformation/mutation? And that would also explain how Vincent gets back to his bishie self afterwards ;-) NO MORE POWER! lol

So, yeah, Galian etc are dormant until Vincent loses control. and contrarily to popular theory, they DON'T talk to Vincent. Because even letting them communicate would be like a hole in a well-sealed lid;they'd get through eventually.

Plus, they don't seem to be the very verbose kind of guys, I think hey'd rather ZZZzzzZZZZ like me! XD

Wait, what did I say? If I was in their place I'd not leave him alone for a SEC!!!

as for the arm, yeah, it's a gauntlet, not a prosthetic. Lilvalchan, I've already got a theory for this one.. all you've got to do is read 'In the Darkness of Creation'! it's my second fanfic, complete. Just a couple of chapters, so short enough.

Just tell me what you think of my theory about the gauntlet. I'd love a good chat about it! XD

Oh, and in case you didn't know, you were right on for something: it is to show his ah... bestial/demonic side, since golden or broze claws in roman mythology meant just that: a bestial side.

I'd love to test his bestial side though...*blushes*

   Failed experiments lying around...?
Yes, I did draw the chibi! that's one of my accomplishments, narcissistic chibi drawing! XD

Thank you, all of you, for your comments about the OC and manga! ^_^

Now i know i can't go wrong and get crucified or something. Because if there's any crucifixion to be done, it's by me; no way i'll give that pleasure to anyone else!BWAHAHAHAHAHA...ha.. *breathes* hahahahahahha*strangles*;-)

What did I do today? Nothing much, apart from the usual. yay, my project's almost DONE and so's the manga ^_^! yes, that too! lol. Who's been a productive girl, eh? XD

To complete the craziness, i decided to start the first chapter of my new fanfic... more violent than anything i have done to date... and i can safely say that there will be some rather graphic scenes later on. blood and gore, stuff like that. Happy? heck, I am!

Why this sudden bloodthirstiness? I had an....ah.... interesting dream... concerning Hojo, Lucrecia and Vincent. NO, NOT that kind of dream. XD. Just some more clarity in this twisted story.

Yet, there is something that I can't quite answer. Maybe you could tell me your opinion so I can do some maths and draw a definite conclusion?

Where the HECK do Galian, Death Gigas and Hellmasker come from? Where did Hojo get them, if it's him who's put them in Vincent? And what are (or were) they?

I know, tough question... I've been trying to reason this through, I've followed every lead available, and still zilch.

And something disturbing: If Vincent is another failed experiment... are there other guys like him lying around in the Shin-Ra mansion...? In DoC, we can see the DGS in control of the mansion; have they found them if they exist...? and.. *head explodes*

What do you think of the new chibi celeste posted up there? ;-) yeah, this is me, reduced in size, complete with my usual duds! even the butterflies on my scarf and the pompoms! ^_^

So what else did i do today? I had to go out to pick up something for my aunt... then i did another portion of my school project, i chatted with some friends. that's about it really. oh, and fanfiction. always fanfiction.

The poem is slow in coming. or maybe it's just me being lazy, as always. can someone PUSH me to do it? say it's a matter of life and death? else, i won't get it done....

   Questions that need answers
Hi how are you all doing?

Well, I have some questions for you....

About OCs
I've created an Original Character for a ff7 fanfic, and drawn the first character artwork. Where should I post it? In the ff7 category, or the original anime/misc anime section? *answer urgently needed, like this is bruning to get off my hard drive...* ^_^

Prologues
I guess it's Ok if I start a fan-manga with a prologue, right?

Fan-mangas
Am I allowed to do just the prologue of the story in manga? The rest to be continued on fanfiction? Bcoz I have no time to do all those graphics by myself.... Writing is so much more expeditive.
