So ...
Yeah. Yesterday, we were forced to watch Haunted Mansion (shoot us) and never got online. But all you lucky people missed was some whining about video games and our bro having his friend over to annoy us with. Joy. And some whining about not knowing there were two eps of YGO on and missing one, but whatever.
Today we ... um ... did some world civ HW and distressed our father by talking to our nonpresent world civ teacher about how much we don't care about Peter the Great and how Russia: Land of the Czars mentioned all kinds of scandals the book didn't. Whatever.
And we watched the stuff we taped too. That was good. The end of Trigun, and the sequel ep to the Bebop from the other night after the newish YYH and the Peach Man IY (not even worth it - it's not interesting, but it's better in the manga) and Wolf's Rain (awful, what they did to the wolves).
Um, so yeah, called our best gal out in MN (we're in MA). Nice chat. It was cold out.
And now it's kinda thundering out there a bit and raining ... so we kinda gotta go.

BLEEEEE! *freaky hand sign*
Dude, we ate Chinese again. That stuff's so good, but it makes us feel so sick ...
So ... watched A Man for All Seasons in world civ. It might have been interesting, but who knows. In one sitting, it was an awful ordeal. It's like watching Gods and Generals in one sitting, but skipping all the war scenes.
Library book sale! Cheap books even cheaper, cuz Dad paid for them! YAY! (got White Oleander! so happy!)
And lessons! Did technical stuff. (Need tons of work there. Most people have the tech stuff from practice and have to work for tone and pitch. Not us. We have great tone and if you give us the correct pitch for a moment or a tuner, we have great pitch too, but we are so slow on the fingers.)
Watched Bebop and Trigun and Eva. Um, totally loved that Mr. Saxophone dude and was totally disappointed to find out he/she was a hermaphrodite. (Shallow, we know.) YAY! Vash is done with depression!
Eva ... read some of the manga and one day, was listening to this guy we are aquainted with talking about it, and finally realized that we should seriouly get the DVDs. Heheh, it takes forever to remember to do this stuff, but it happened! (For some unfathomable reason, we actually like Gendou ... and Toji. Really like Toji. Does he die for real?)
Um ... WHR rox! (Karasuma especially. She never gets the credit she deserves. Is she seriously 19? We read that somewhere ...)

Oh! Forgot ...
Oh Kharl!
At school, the jazz combo sometimes plays at lunch, like before a vacation or on days like yesterday when there's stressful exams.
Well, in September, they were looking for musicians interested in a folk group, and then we didn't hear any more about it.
But today, when we came into lunch, there was a crowd by the corner where the combo plays, and we were kinda like, what, is this the "tall hot kid"'s last time playing piano here or something? But when we looked, it was the folk band! They had like 7 guitars, a teacher with a fiddle, the bass guy, and this one guy with some bongos he was pretending was a bodhran! It totally rocked! They so should have done that before! They did like country/bluegrass/celtic reel stuff, and it was absolutely awesome! MH and we were totally cloud nined!

AH
Feeling better. Much better. We were still kinda off this morning, but KB and we made amends and we're not sure where we stand with playfriend, but oh well.
TWO AND A .5 HOURS OF GEOMETRY. Don't get us wrong, we love math. We intend to do it for a living. But even with the best of company (we sit in the back corner with MH and this girl who scares us a lot but whatever, we get along when not hating eachother), that is way too long to sit around doing surface area and volume of random figures.
Spent three hours working at the library because the twins (who usually do Thursday) wanted to get their nails done for the prom. We felt like such a slob, not really having dressed to accomodate the we felt kinda sick and angry, not that we would be spending time as a state employee. However, there are perks of showing up to work dressed in a loose black T with "Lord of the Onion Rings" printed on it, these olive pants with tons of zippers we swiped from Tea, and with our hair kinda ... out there (it feels so good to be able to mess with your hair when you don't feel good): it's easy to scare stupid little kids into listening to you.
Ran into our elementary school music teacher and sixth grade teacher (who, in popular opinion, is a vampire) trying to say hi to our fifth grade teacher while picking up our brother from school. Cool.
Was watching Bebop and Trigun. Oh Kharl, what was with that refrigerator thing? If we missed something, don't tell us. And did Vash seriously shoot Legato? Cuz that's not even funny. (Okay, our band director has this theory. If you pronounce words how they mean, you remember. So stocatto, short, is sto-cah-toh pronounced wicked fast like in those horrible cartoon parodies of kung fu and stuff. Legato, slow and connected like a sweet lullaby, is leehgaaoh, pronounced with no harsh sounds. This makes him sound drunk. And since Legato in English speaks so slow and drawling, it reminds us of how the band director says it. Which is kinds funny, cuz now we think Legato's drunk all the time. Which is stupid and pointless. Whatever.)
Eheh, so ... bye!

*cough*
In an unrelated story ...
Was watching Bebop and Trigun, and totally loved both. The Bebop was the one with Elisa and Jet, and honestly, when we read the Shooting Star manga a year ago (wow, it's been a year ...), the only character we liked at all was Jet. Now we realize Ed's not annoying and Faye is cool and Spike rox, but Jet is still our favorite. Awesome to see an ep about him.
And Trigun was Wolfwood's death. That was one of the best anime deaths we have ever seen. We absolutely felt everything they were going for in his last moments in that church, and that meant a lot, because we're not a murderer, but we really relate to a lot the things that make Wolfwood who he is, in a lot of ways. There are always characters who appeal to us because we understand them in anime, though they aren't a favorite for the same reasons as others. The two biggest for us have been Wolfwood and Shuro Tsukasa from Ayashi no Ceres.

UGH
Alright, we are so ticked with many and various people right now.
1) A friend asked two weeks ago, "Hey, you around on these days? 'Cause I wanna go see a play." So we told her, "Pick a date and get some details." So yesterday, she called and basically said, "Hey, wanna go the 29th at 8? You owe me *obscene amount of money to ask a high school kid for with out notice of any kind*" So we told her, "We'll check." After checking with another friend, we didn't feel so bad about it, since she had pretty much done the same thing.
2) Same friend blames our otaku friends for all our problems and doesn't like ous having friends outside our little group from elementary school, yet she always blows us off shamelessly to work with, hang with, talk to her new friends from jr. high and sr. high, which apparently, is totally different from us hanging with other people.
3) Because our friends are a little overweight, they are automatically not cool, attractive, or at all tolerable to society. They are some of the greatest, nicest, most talented kids we know. Seriously, do you think the BSO's gonna care when MH gets first chair flute there someday? Will the rep theatre care when KB gets there?
4) Another friend, KB, takes advantage of the fact we always have spaer money on us. We have, in the past school year, lent lunch money to: friend A: once; B: twice; flutefriend: twice; firstfriendmentioned: once. This friend? About once every two weeks. And if we want to get paid back, we have to remind her every morning and call her. And after a year of, "It's okay if I dno't have my money; *real name* can lend me some. She ALWAYS has money," that's it. No more from me. It's fine if it's someone who never forgets, needs a quarter, but man! "I don't remember as well as you," is no excuse to live off what we have in our bag and at times, clean us out and force us to harass her until we get it. She literally always owes us money.
5) She also doesn't let the dumbest things drop no matter what we say.
6) We have an accent when we get mad. Unfortuneately, it also comes out when we talk fast, so not everyone a) knows it's an indicator of anger or b) realizes we're mad. So people don't take what we say seriously, even when we mean it, because we use cynicism and sarcasm all the time.
Over all, we are just so ticked off with a lot of people.
Thanks, MH. For everything. Maybe you didn't know it, and maybe you'll never see this, but we owe you one for everything. You're a great friend. Sometimes we all need and hand, and we'll always be there for you since you're here for us.

SKWISH
Our friends were on this scary how-bad-can-we-freak-out-*insert name here* thing today .. it was mildly distressing.
And we finally got to watch all that backed up Bebop and Trigun! YAY!
Almost done with The Five People You Meet in Heaven. It's worth it. But really, Life of Pi is too. (As weird as teh choices are, you find all kinds of great stuff in book club.)
Tired. See yas!

Way Too Tired
Four more weeks of classes? Are they kidding? And whose grand idea is to stop us from interrupting senior finals have us sit around in block one for 2.5 hours? Why would we EVER want to be in band that long except those 3 hour after school rehearsals before MICCA festivals?
Stuck at the library alone with our superior cuz the boss-lady is on vacation and Kharl knows where the reference lady was. Funnnnnn. But the Eva DVD we were waiting for came in, at least, and a friend got FY10 and gave it to us, so we'll be in a Yuu Watase happy state later. (She's really good, in case there's someone straying by looking for good shojo manga. Check out Ayashi no Ceres by all means.)
Need to go take some quizzes. It's soothing. We love taking quizzes. Too bad Quizilla hates our log on the spazzed out comp.

OH KHARL
Dude! People signed the guestbook! Three of them. *sobs* Thanks so much!
Man, concert was decent. Took forever though. We sat through two hours of chorus (they're not bad at all; totally joining junior year) and jazz band (they did "Copacabana;" *dies*) with a great pal who shall go nameless for obvious reasons, then shot back to the band room to get ready, so we missed the percussion show (too bad, it was supposed to be good and we couldn't make it to the previews or shows before), then performed with the concert and symphony bands. We can't say we're ecstatic about our performance, but we did okay. Nothing truly horrific went down. And we've got a brand-y new bassoon now to play with. (YES!)
Of course, after going to bed so late all weekend (we're one of those people who considers 10:30 late, and we got in at 1 and 11 then had to get up for 7 boths days), we're dead, and we only managed to get through our taped YYH, IY, and half of WR, plus we ran out of tape and didn't catch Trigun but we can borrow that. So it's all okay!
And our friend got Fushigi Yugi 10, which totally rocks cuz we totally love FY.
WHAT IF: Rumiko Takahashi creates the characters, Yuu Watase writes the plot, and CLAMP draws it. Do we not have the perfect manga?

Band
Was up till 1 last night whining about band/chorus with 2 friends after psuedo-birthday party, then at 9 was out setting up for our spring pops concert and got (YAY!) the new bassoon the school bought! It's not wood like the old one (there were chunks missing too), but it's new ... SHINY.
After 3 hours of that with some other band/chorus buddies, we watched the YGO we taped this morning and were wholy disappointed it was ALL dueling. (GRRR.)
See ya! Gotta clean and get ready for the concert.
