So ...
ALLERGY SEASON!!!!

Half day tomorrow for staff development/junior prom. We could cry. Joy fills out heart.

Everyone at FF.net talk about the "new hunter," and the official sites don't even recognize it, but doesn't anyone notice that to stick with the parallels betweent the Bible and WHR, the hunter who shows up at the end IS Robin? Seriously, who else could it be??? Haven't figured out yet if Amon parallels anyone who has to return, but if anyone has ideas ...

Dude
Was watching Escaflowne cuz some friends said it rocked ... wasn't too impressed ... (and it's not because of the lack of leather pants on males [allen was pretty cool] or the lack of gratuitous violence) ... does it get better? Cuz it's seriously sad if we, who like to be able to pay absolutely no attention to the screen, can't even watch it without going through our trove of songs from musicals until we changed it to the Japanese track with subtitles and dubbed it aloud for ourselves. Dunno, hoping it picks up later if they're gonna insist we watch it ...

Though Allen was way cool ... (forgets darling Rune for just a moment)

Yeah ... so, been rereading Ceres. We're totally proYuuhi. Tooya can rot. ^-^ But dude, Alec is totally awesome. But we can't support what Aya and Tooya did. Seriously, do they ever think???

Ow ...
Well, it's ALLERGY SEASON! YAY!

Dude, it was miserable. Softball lunch block in the unseasonally disgusting weather. We could understand the disgusting weather were it only July, but for Kharl's love, it's May.

It's beautiful to go home and just do geom then get to watch the last of Kurama vs Karasu we caught (gotta love that fight; even Koto gave it to Kurama, which goes to show, JURI STINKS), then that IY with Girlfriend for Shippo Number One (shoot us, but ep 68 with Souten rox), then Wolf's Rain (had "Stray" stuck in our head ALL day), Bebop, Trigun, Bebop, and Trigun (is that much flashback allowed without any random sakura?). It was funnnnn.

Thought: Everyone we talk to says Hiro's annoying, bratty, etc. Dunno, but he seems like the most intuitive of the bunch. We really liked him. He kinda reminded us of ... us. He has the same kinds of thoughts and all ... really liked him ... though the dub voice was annoying.

LYRIC
PUBLIC NOTICE: Many people consider librarians nasty people. This is not the case. They are simply frustrated. So please, before you go to your local library, think about your question. Many of the questions they have to listen to are pointless and so forth ("Who do I call to find out about my pension plan?" *sign in plain view: REFERENCE, finger pointing to reference* "Where is the reference section?"). So please, consider this. I for one think we should all appreciate the wonderful people who sit throught this for hours every day more.

That said, we seriously need to go find the lyrics to the Wolf's Rain theme. Also Fruit's Basket.

Happy Mum's Day to All
Heheh, even though we know the IY plot through like, really recently and know the whole Ceres spiel, it was totally awesome to wake up, not have to attend mass early in the morning (we went yesterday; every Mother's Day, Father sings this utterly depressing song about how you'll never appreciate your mom till she's dead) and read manga till breakfast. Out. That means ... indegestion!

Mac and cheese! More indegestion!

So then, we were all at my aunt's, where we ate a ton of sickly sweet honeydew melon. Even more indegestion!

But overall, a very nice day. Need to do our English summaries though. And watch our YYH, IY, WR, CB, and TG ... but that has to wait until at least tomorrow.

*dances in happy mode induced by an update by this fanfic writer with real talent!*

SAVING LIVES
We saved a life! A poor glassfish, traumatized at a young age by an injection with pink coloration, improperly cared for by our cousin, was yesterday retrieved by our father and has been happily relocated to our clear, clean tank. Another success story.

Shopping! For manga! And books! Good books!

UGH So glad we saw Kurama vs Karasu once before cuz we only managed to tape the end. Heaven love the evil CN people.

Band ... not even in marching band and yet it consumes us
If you think really hard, we go to an artsy school. Football stinks and we don't do science fairs. the emphasis is all on our numerous bands (especially jazz and marching), color guard, drama, and stage tech. We were whining about tennis and proposed to a friend that we hold a philosophical discussion as a class instead. She kinda gave us this look and said, "Um, with THIS class?" Then we looked around and realized how great it is that the only people anyone notices at our school are the artsy ones ... cuz otherwise we'd look horrible.

FINALLY caught up on all that backed up Trigun stuff, forced sis to watch Wolf's Rain (AMON! Or rather, his voice. Most kids are into actors and actresses; not us and our friends. It's all voice actors. Imagine our surprize to learn that Piccolo, Ayame, and Kuwabara are all the same man? Or that John Bergmeyer translated the Momiji song [his one comdemning action in our mind, though some will say it was genius ... "The birds and the bees say Mo-mi-ji!" ... seriously ...]? Really.), and finally saw our very first Cowboy Bebop! As cool as we kinda knew it was just cuz we're well informed and read manga a ton, but even after getting a sampling of the "creeped out jazz" they use, we were still shocked and disturbed. It was cool, but WAY too James Bond at times.

Ugh, need to get to Mononoke. The library wants it back Monday. But not now. We tape stuff at night cuz unlike some people, we value our mind as an asset during testing/quizzing.

SKITTY! (contraction of
So ... Vermeer ... cool guy ... spent the whole afternoon writing eloquently, "No one knows squat about him and half his art's missing," for world civ class. FUUUUUNNNNNN.

And we've just been informed our obsession with Amon is a bit unhealthy. No kidding. Most kids don't get together with a friend and plan the perfect night spent duct taping Amon to a chair and poking him with a cattle prod. And if they do, they aren't dumb enough to tell people this. (But wouldn't that be fun? This guy we harass said he doesn't think Amon would react well ... fried is fine with us!)

We leave our world with a Hiro quote: Can you really make anyone's troubles disappear? Can you really save anyone?

And one from White Oleander the movie: Astrid: We're the enemy.

Serious thinking day.

*Ritsu Poke* (those hurt, don't give them to people between the ribs)
So ... after days of anime deprivedness, we are so much better! Before school, we read the Saiyuki manga and totally need to find the anime (Sanzo in color! *faints*)! Then after school, our buddy gave us the CDs she burned, so we've just listened to lots of .hack-ness and have another whole CD of other stuff to check out!

Then, we finally got around to the Fruits Basket DVD, and oh Kharl, that was totally awesome! Gotta love the end! Totally worth waiting for!

And we've got some Trigun waiting, finally got around to looking up Vermeer, and today pretty well rocked our socks! *inside joke*

Dude
School wasn't too bad (you can't play tennis if it's raining!), but work was pretty brutal. It got to the point where we were like, you know what, just steal the stupid book, it's not like we'd notice. We mean, how much intelligence does it take to follow our finger to where the reference librarian is as we say, "She's right there under the clock," the clock being prominently displayed? It's no wonder people think librarians are mean; you wouldn't believe the crud a library page who only works 2.5 hours a week when lucky has to put up with.

Eheh, that being said, we finally got hooked up with that Saiyuki manga and the fourth Fruits Basket DVD (we were about to go harass people when we, soaked, made our way upstairs where we were attacked - we mean greeted - by a horde of wonderful pals bearing good news and manga and who solved the problem of our feeling we had soemthing to give someone and kept forgetting by asking us for it. It was wonderful to feel so loved; thanks!

So ... work, homework, then extra credit! What's the point of skipping that madcool chapters on China, Japan, Afirca, and Central America? This teacher skips anything not related to Europe. This includes exploration, oddly enough. Is the Renaissance really more important than India or the Aztecs? IS IT??? No, we think not.

Yeah, so we did some extrac redit by outlining the chapter we're skipping on China and Japan. The ones on China were short and we know about feudal Japan from our History Day project on the Tokugawa shogunate, so that was easy but time consuming. Also cuz everyone copied China so we had to write "The Chinese culture offered many things to *insert country here*, including Buddhism, their government, and art forms such as *insert art form of the moment here*" about a million times.

END RANT

Ugh, need to go watch FB4, Princess Mononoke (love that thing!), and read that manga, and probably do our project on Vermeer too. Though all we'll do tonight is the manga ...

Feel free to drop a signature in the guestbook or any criticism on our wallpapers (Tea's is not welcome, we already know what you think, not that that'd stop you ...). Thanks!
