Eheh, heh
Um, yeah, well, our wallpaper issue was easily solved once we figured out we weren't selecting a category .. check 'em out if you want, but be warned, the only one our sis approves of is the Amon one ... (AMON!) ... and she's quite good with wallpapers ... most of hers are music groups, not anime, though, so she deals with actual people, so she deals with different problems than we do ... also, our tastes are very different. We like space, she likes collages. But whatever, they're pretty horrible quality anyway, and we need to go redo this nice Evangelion one we did of Rei because it was kinda pixelated. But the scheme for it was pretty cool.

Watched way too much TV today. First, there was Inuyasha, Wolf's Rain (first time seeing that, way cool, and the guys all looked good! *has a moment of bishie madness then realizes how unfaithful to Rune, Sesshy, Shigure, and the other bishies collected along the way this is, then stops and realizes how hypocritical that was*), Trigun (We can't believe we seriously thought he shot those kids! Ooh, Millie and Wolfwood! Would have been pleasantly shocked by that pairup, but for our loverly friends who like to arrange their Trigun keychains in couples according to the series ...), our first 2 minutes of Cowboy Bebop (we know most of the series but never actually watched it ... it starts over on the fifth, so until then, we shall be heathens concerning Bebop), then White Oleander. We read the book, and the movie was very good, but we were kind of disappointed that Ingrid was so tame in the movie. She truly was frightening in the book. Much more human, yet so cut off from teh rest of the world. It really is a wonderful book. Our book club is kidna weird, but they really do pick excellent books. We've done The Lovely Bones, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, White Oleander, Life of Pi, and The Da Vinci Code, all of which we highly recommend.

Yeah, so then *shudder* we watched Harry Potter. Before we become nasty, we shall stop on this note: Diana Wynne Jones all the way!

Ooh, our friend just hooked us up with more .hack//SIGN music (gotta love that stuff!) and some Bebop stuff (whatever, we'll take it)! *happiness ensues*

Bottles and Cans
Spent the morning with some other band geeks collecting bottles and cans for the music program ... fun ... three hours of traipsing about.

What does this mean? It means, a good friend kidnaps you, drags you off, then drags you door to door with another girl where you abduct cans and bottles from people for three hours on an 80 degree morning. Then get back, beaten, tired, and gross, only to discover another close friend needs help packing collected glass bottles ... so gross. It was funnnnnnn.

Kinda shocking how friendly the neighborhood was ... in ours, they'd probably set dogs on you and sue you for tresspassing.

When we got back, we were so tired, we just kinda abducted some Doritos and watched Yu-Gi-Oh! with them. *cuddles the evil WB people (censorship on CN: Saito is bleeding profusely and Yusuke swears every so often; censorship on WB: Pegasus drinks "highest quality fruit juice" from what looks suspiciously like a wine bottle and his goons point threateningly at Kaiba with their fingers crooked around what may once have been a trigger) who only play new eps every other week*

New theory: On Yu-Gi-Oh!, they cut out all the dueling, replace it with quarter spinning contests, and go straight to the Egyptian past life stuff.

Then we sat around staring at the computer. Correction: we veged out while restoring our dead fanfic and making a paper ... but we can't upload it ... any suggestions?

Skwish
Ugh, the server's out to get us. But they shall not prevail!

Our sis's b-day party with her ultracool friends ... they didn't seem to appreciate our mad skills that enabled us to anticipate most good lines in Princess Bride ... wonder why ...

Need to go find out what heinous crime Cartoon Network has commited now ... excuse us.

Ten Year Old Boys
Science night with an old teacher ... oi ...

The first year, we did rockets ... you can't control TYOBs with rockets ...

So since, we have done bubbles. You imerse your arms in bubble mix and lift a hula hoop over a kid's head. Clean and slippery, but good.

Ugh, but those kids are tiring! Thank goodness for the half day today ... we went out with two friends, it was nice ... then watched Trigun, then 7th Heaven, then kinda sat around till Science Night ... ugh.

Hopefully will get some of our horrific wallpapers up ... they're pretty bad, as our sis will tell you ... we would have done so tonight, but we realized we're using a different alias than those were created with, so we need to change it to the one we're using here ... having three aliases is confusing.

Lucy's sick again ...
Ugh. The spyware messing with the comp got so bad we had to do a system restore because the idiotic thing was rerouting us to random sites and we couldn't live around the spyware anymore (as we'd tried to for a week or so). So it's kinda better now. Hopefully this means Adobe has reincarnated, but maybe not ... because we feel so lost without our capability to mess with pictures ...

Finally kinda figured out the deal on anime on Cartoon Network (it's free! no shame in dubs! or free stuff! free stuff rocks! also discounts at borders cuz our dad's a teacher ... those are even better, coupled with gift cards and coupons ... borders never knows what hit them when a girl walks out with 3 manga and 2 fantasy novels and only shelled out 15 bucks she actually earned, like, with a job).

Tennis is an evil game. It exercizes your thigh muscles. Not because you need them in the game, but because you do so much crouching to gather runaway balls that decided not to hit the wall properly.

Oh, if anyone ever desired to see a pic of Inuyasha kinda tipsy jumping off a cliff chasing a butterfly, we know of a translation site with a manga scan of this ... (sad life this one leads, eh?)

Ooh, someone's finally doing something about this freshmen football captain who thinks he's all that so he's really derrogatory towards the girls at school ... can't wait till he gets his due ... he's the kind of guy who represents the person every self-respecting geek abhors ... and we know geeks. We're in the band, book club, all honors classes (except band - like heck we're writing a paper AND doing two concert solos AND finding a professional bassoonist in concert to watch), and think trig is fun. (WE LOVE TRIG!) But our friends our cool. Cuz we're cool!

Um, yeah, this became the weekly rant ... suppose it's better than venting at our buddies on the bus and not realizing till this guy or our sister lets us know just how loud we were ... it's not like blasting music actually damages your perception ... heheh ...

A Skwish for Cartoon Network
It's pretty discouraging to get to school and discover you missed out on the new Inuyasha, some YYH, and some other good stuff because you were so stupid as to trust the TV Guide.

So then, 30 minutes later, you discovered that you didn't; you managed to tape YYH by accident and caught Trigun.

But you still missed Inuyasha. But that's no big because you saw it once, subbed, at 3 in the morning, while in a chocolate and soda induced stupor. So, it's not like we missed anything important when we saw that.

But it was still daunting. And confusing.

Ooh, band ... book club (seriously, The Da Vinci Code rocks and is a wicked good read)(we're doing a joint meeting with the seniors, and they suggested some pretty morbid sounding books ...), work (no paper cutters this week, thank goodness, cuz it's not like we don't have anything better to do than cut up a foot high stack of paper into slips), then food (YAY!), and teh promise of upcoming Fruits Basket DVDs (YAAAY!).

All in all, a pretty sad day. Oh well! It was fuuuuuuuun!

Ooh! Forgot!
In our life outside anime (we have one?), we were watching Master and Commander last night, and oh Kharl, that movie totally rocked! It didn't top The Mask of Zorro for fight scenes (Zorro, after all, is the standard), but dude, it had Paul Bettany in it! (He's cool. We loved his chara too.) Blakeney was wicked awesome too. But we don't agree with sis and IMDb that he belongs in Harry Potter ... he's too good an actor for those horrifice books. (DIANA WYNNE JONES ALL THE WAY!)

Lucy's feeling better! (Thank goodness!)
Okay! The computer feels better, we managed to get together some semblance of the fanfic we accidentally deleted all of (THAT WAS SO STUPID), watched quite a bit of Trigun yesterday (Sis has it down: Vash=Kenshin+Excel), have arranged with lovely buddy pals to get some Saiyuki manga fromt them (someday, we will understand!), and are in line for the last Fruits Basket DVD (totally cannot wait! When our buddies and we got together and divided the bishies of FB among ourselves, no one contested us for Shigure ... wonder why ...), and are in a much better mood. Supposedly, we even got a picture loaded here. Ugh, we are wicked glad this comp still has some life in it ... though shrinking that pic was the last thing the other comp did before its untimely demise yesterday ...

Well, that's all for now!

UGH!
SO SORRY THIS THING"S A MESS.

Well, the comp's keyboard is spazzing, Adobe has died, AIM has forsaken us, but this should look like a normal thing in a few days ...

Meanwhile, Miguzi and the VCR are being skwished for their cruelty to my anime viewing ... also DBZ for having a movie in YYH's timeslot.

Eheh ... this would be our first post without our sister right there! Though she did have to direct us here ...

We're so lost ... the fact is, that happens so easily ... our usual alias reflects that with a reference to Ryoga ... (Hiei + Ryoga = Hioga-chan)

So ... we got our donut! We watched Miss Congeniality (a movie in which they keep taking away Grace's donuts!) and a few eps of Trigun (never seen it till now [we get what's on tv, pretty much] in which there was much bribery with donuts) and after this, we have been dying for a donut! It was so good! Boston Kreme ... this was after the dude at Lenscrafters "fixed" our glasses by unfixing the wrong problem ...

Um, yeah ... well, we spent our whole day in a truck shopping and at work with a paper cutter ... we did like nothing useful ... only 20 min of Trigun in my anime life and like, some (not much) of a Jing King of Bandits manga ... it's weird ...
