I had/heard two really good conversations today. They made me laugh. That wasn't hard today, but I feel like sharing my joy.
Conversation One:

J: *babbling on about the men (and Kel is apparently one of them ...) in the Tamora Pierce books*

Me and M: *pretending to be interested, till M decides she's going to stop paying attention, meaning I have to so at least someone is able to make noncommittal noises when J asks quiestions*

J: *is done with Tamora Pierce* John Rzeznik is seriously the hottest guy I have ever seen. He's like, got really nice hair. It's like, blond and light brown and about an inch and a half long ... *continues on this strain*

Me: *notices two guys next to us listening in; wonders if J has noticed*

J: And have you seen the music video ... *babbles on ...*

Me: *nods and does history homework, forgets to keep an eye on J and the boys to make sure she keeps her conversation quiet*

J: And it's like, his shirts fit nicely in the front, tight, but not so unbelievably tight, and in the back, when he spins around, they're loose! How does he do it???

Me: Uhuh ... *continues homework*

J: And it's, like, he's muscled, but not too muscled, so his shirts look even better ... you know how like, some guys are just too muscled, and it's like, ew, and then they wear the shirts that are just so tight that ...

Guys: *start laughing*

J: Oh my God ... *stares blankly, then covers her face and starts laughing*

M: *giggles*

Me: *laughed, and kept laughing ... will never be able to look at J, M, or those guys ever again*

Conversation 2:

L: I thought it was Friday all day! I'm so disappointed! I went up to K a few minutes ago, and I was like, "Hey, we should do something this weekend!" And she was all, "Sure. I'm free Friday." So I was like, "No, I can't do anything tonight." So K went, "No, I said Friday." So I was there, "Yeah, Friday. Tonight." And K's there, "L, it's Thursday." I'm so disappointed ...

And it's sad if K's more together than someone, even L.
