And the winner is ...
the loser who hasn't bothered to figure out how Gene has changed over the course of A Separate Peace, because Gene is a wuss.

This is, of course the same loser who did not bother to think about how a minor character influenced the plot.

These losers are the same person who has to write a five paragraph essay on one of those topics tomorrow.

God, I am stupid. I expected a theme essay, so I paid little attention to most characters, and now, it's on the midyear, rather than a regular test.

Oh well ... at least I'll have my algebra midyear to cheer me up.

Today was a stupid day. That's all I have to say about it.

I made an old lady cry. Inadvertantly, but there is something very distressing about it nonetheless.
