*Inspired*
My paper due Friday! Hah! I wrote most of it today! And by most, I mean the two body paragraphs!
Granted, I have no intro, no conclusion, no link to tone, and no title, but let's not ask for too much. I spent 5 hours pretending that the book was optimistic! YAY!
I think I need to call everyone I know and ask what the heck they thought was uplifting about the book next week. And the answer will probably be, "Nothing. My essay is BS," in every case. Because that is what my friend told me she was doing last night, and that is pretty much what I did.
I've come to the conclusion that the only thing separating people with high, middle, and low grades is the ability to produce quality, believable BS on papers.
Actually, I was reading an article in the Globe months ago on how strategic lying and what is called "BS-ing" is a necessary skill. (Then they talked about how this reflects on our society, and I zoned out, because I really didn't want to know.)
