And so, the school building and the local library joined forces and ate all my time.
Which is a whole lot more dramatic than the truth about 2 daily hours of Buffy and the weekend I watched the entire frist season of Lost, plus my nightly shows.
I'm kind of like an old lady about TV. I tape my shows and watch them later. So when someone asks, it's always, "Oh, I haven't watched it yet."
And I actually have nothing to say, because I've spent the two weeks absent listening to my shows while doing homework. Lots of it.
(I'm actually supposed to be working on my Macbeth paper at the moment.)
So, my sister is camping with the Girl Scouts, my brother is camping with the Boy Scouts, and on my day of only childness, what did I do?
I took the PSAT, of course.
Which is startlingly like the MCAS.
Oh, and for those not up with the weather, the whole Northeast is flooding madly from the rain. We've had 6.5 inches at my house, and that's not the least. They had to evacuate some town in NH, and I saw some footage of this insanely flooded town in MA.
Oh, and it thundered last night. Which was weird.
And the school lot is under contruction -> doesn't drain -> is flooded. It's fabulous. But not like that day they had to have all the seniors move theri cars.
Which was bad, because on our school news show, they had footage of all our old-guy teachers taking off their shoes, hiking up their pants, and wading to their cars.
Anyway ...
