   Sssh!
I wish I had a sutra.

Then Kougaiji would have to hunt me down, and pose on top of buildings for my amusement.

And I actually showed my dear aged mother my latest confabulation of musings. She liked it, and laughed for a bit. This is special, since she knows nothing about Saiyuki, youkai, or well... bishonen? (Probably for the best...)

Then again, she loves Full Metal Panic, Fumoffu... ostensibly because of the bearsuit. It's that dry English wit, I guess. If you've watched early Monty Python, everything else seems clean by comparison.

   Drug-Induced Boredom
A-hem.

I'm sick. My brother is sick. He's working from home, which means that my lean, mean, graphics-pumping machine is occupied like a permanently Out-of-Service toilet stall. I am using the crusty lap-top of crashing.

In light of that, today is the inevitable Review Episode we've all come to know and dread. I figured I'd distill out the sets I've made and link to them, in case someone is a first-time viewer and feels like picking up the storyline.

So, without further ado:

The Sets

The Gods Must Be Crazy
Konzen Douji, Seiten Taisen Son Goku, Tenpo Gensui and Kenren Taisho
These guys were my baptism of fire in the clone-brush. Those background are largely my fakes, as are various elbows, knees and cut off hair. Kenren's my fave. I love that saucy fellow.

The Gods Must Be Chibi
Ten-chan, Ken-chan and The Bald Guy.
I still haven't done the Goku chibi... because I can't think of anything witty for him to say...

CB Can Color!
His Royal Hotness Kougaiji, Hakkai, Looking Vine, Sanzo with Sun-In and Check Out Those Abs!.
All of these are frames and illustrations from the Saiyuki manga that have never been colored by Minekura and her team. That coloring is all me and my (currently-occupied) machine.

Simplification

Why make 4 wallpapers, when you can stick 2 of each together? Or all 4 in one.?

The Lone Gunman
Sanzo's gonna shoot me, So I'd better duck, In case his aim's improved.

I Can't Believe It's Not Saiyuki!
Who's This Blue Guy? That's a trippy background. I've never heard of this series... and What is Gankutsuou?
Gankutsuou is possibly the trippiest, funkiest, best-animated show I've seen this season. I love it. Here's the official site. It's available fan-subbed until some corporate entity is smart enough to pick it up. Based on the Count of Monte Cristo by Dumas.
