   Eeek... That was Unexpected...
Ah... I wasn't expecting people to go back through my old stuff. But thanks, oh ye of durable eyeballs.

   It's been a Veeeeery Long Time
As a rule, I don't often make fan art... This is certainly the first time I've done a 'comic'... or 'doujinshi'... though from what I've seen of doujinshi this doesn't qualify, as everyone is wearig clothes.

Go see it. Then tell me I'm on Crack.

I did a piece of Fan "art" yesterday. Haven't done any in a loooong time, as you can see if you go look at my gallery below. It's... well, I did it at 3am. It's special. I'm still trying to decide if I need the self-flagellation of submitting that kind of madness to your critiques...

Ah, I'll see if I can be bothered to scan it tomorrow.

And don't start smoking either. I'm not advocating sending hot, toxic gasses into your lungs to encourage cancer, stinky breath and brown fingernails. I just wanted to play with the smoke-effects...

And here's Goku bleeding on the snow, if you like that kind of thing. I made the knuckles on the hand where there was fade out, and added exctra splatter to extend the background.

All told I don't particularly like it, but meh. They can't all be kittens.

Ahem.

I live in the back corner of the back of beyond. I buy media when I go to town, but as that's a fairly rare event, I like to try stuff out before I blow money on CDs and Videos... especially anime, because it's freaking expensive as you're well aware.

So. Next time a go to a large enough metropolis that might have imports of Japanese CDs I'll be buying Saiyuki's Vocal Album 3.

Toshihiko Seki singing Shangri-La ... my brother hates Seki. With a passion. Possibly because of my past actions (waking him up with Duo's "it's so alright" at 6 am...).

My brother likes Shangri-La. I think I might even like it slightly more than The Clouds Break from V.A. 2, which I adore.

If you want a sample, try this. I don't feel bad linking to it, as the bit rates are far too low to burn to CD, and if you like the songs you'll hate the fuzz in the back and go buy the darn things.

Try it. It's like crack... I've made a playlist that's shangri-la and clouds break, over and over, interspersed with variety jazz...

Ah... Thelonius Monk, and the Felonius Monk...

Go get those tunes. Then buy the CDs. Keep that cute little Japanese man in cigarettes so his voice stays sweet!

   It's not worth it... but hey, you're bored.
Just a variation on yesterday's paper. I like it more, but it's hardly new.

Kappas are Japanese river spirits that look a little like duck-billed frogs. They suck blood for sustenance, yet are suprisingly cute.

If you get one in your network, it can be a problem, as they suck bandwidth and make you less productive.
