   Here's to the Lazy Cripples!
If anyone wonders how I manage to pump out so much wallpaper, it's because I'm a lazy cripple with a computer.

I think this is an argument for providing all cripples with computers and internet service. Goodness knows how much wallpaper we could all make!

And, since I'm now getting used to the side effects of being a mighty morphine-powered ranger...

Here's the inoffensive wallpaper.

Ack!

Snowwhite mentioned that I was going to make Gundam wallpaper. She even gave me props in stating this. She even made an oblique reference to competitiveness...

I guess I should get my chair-shaped butt in gear, hey?

However, there is a problem. As I have alluded to in the past, most of the Gundam Wing pics on the net are Por... um... poor quality? You know what I mean. Somehow I can't bring myself to search for images when I know what I'm going to walk into.

I'll get around to it. As soon as I finish my rum, and these sweet saiyuki pics! MmmMMmmmm... monk-tastic. Kappa-riffic. Bishi-licious!

Kittens!

   Please, no 'hung' jokes. Please.
Hey, if Kougaiji is the son of the "Ox Spirit" King, then does that mean that he really is a beefcake? And can he eat hamburger? Or is he a vegatarian? Does he chew cud?

It explains those deep, soulful eyes, anyway...

Oh! And it explains why they're always sending him on assignments! You know, sending him out in the field...

You can guess who I'm coloring right now...

   Hug Your Kittens!
"Marriage is a wonderful institution, but I'm not ready for an institution yet."
-- Mae West

And on that note, the wallpaper is back up, and so am I. On with the show! In I-Need-A-Hobby order:

1. Kouryuu doesn't have many friends
- It may be because of his bad attitude, it may be because everyone's a wuss compared to him, or it may just be because he'll end up killing them sooner or later.

2. Awww... That's So Cute!
- You know they really care about each other deep inside. Really deep. Somewhere where the sun don't shine...
=^..^=

3. White Pages
- I used bits of the existing picture and the clone stamp to make Hakkai's left elbow and Gojyo's upper arm and elbow... which was actually pretty hard, since the stripes on the jacket have to change direction.

4. Hurray for His Royal Hotness!
- I love Kougaiji. Not just because he's so darn pretty, but because he seems to be a refugee from a different manga/anime. The "good guys" in Saiyuki are really mean, and yet here's a "bad guy" who's concerned about collateral damage and the health of his underlings. Compare to Sanzo, who keeps trying to kill his "underlings," if not with guns, then with second-hand smoke... I removed text cover and rebuilt both of these manga panels.

5. Last but Absolutely Not Least
- This is my favorite of this post. If you can't tell why, blow it up and check out those abs. Then download this one and compare it to the original. Minekura's a genius... the more I follow her lines, the more beautiful these pics become...

And that's it for the weekends stuff. I might have more later on today, since I'm doing laundry. Or I might go outside and get some sunshine for a change...

   Torment! Bottled Torment for Sale!
I've just finished some really, really neat coloring, and here the wallpaper submissions are down. You can still go look at my stuff here, but I can't put up the new until they fix their stuff.

   Well, that's fine then...
Apparently what happened was that my faking is now so good people are thinking I'm just taking original pictures... instead of adding missing elbows, knees, curtains, etc...

I guess that's a compliment.

Anyway, it's sorted out now, and the paper is back up. But, just for kicks, I added a few furnishings, as I thought the bathroom looked a little bare...

Actually... I desperately wanted to cover up my screw-ups. Ick.

   Annual Adversity
I always think of you,
at times like this.

I've replaced you with so many faces
over the years,

But when I strip away the masks
of lovers come and gone
It's always your hand I'm reaching for
in the dark.

   This is Important.
I got a message in my private mailbox that someone has claimed the "Bath Time" pic of sanzo in the tub is plagarised...

This is obviously not true... since I still have the PaintShop Pro file on my computer with all the layers on it, and the brush work... hey, if anyone wants it message me and I'll send it to you email...

I ALWAYS keep the original .psp file, which is composed of layers and has some limited undo features. That way I can nick bits that I make in one for use in others. The StickKitty is one, as is the yellow Smiley I made for Tenpo. Anyway, Ladies and Gentlemen, I have never plagarised anything in my life. I have 2 years of my B.A, in English. I know what that ugly word means, and it's kind of sickening that someone somewhere thinks I have... yuck.

I'm sure hoping that someone made an honest mistake, since that paper may well look like someone else's... especially since virtually all of the wallpaper on this site is made from anime and manga images that belong to their respective corporate/artist owners. In other words, there's only so many Minekura pics of Sanzo around, there's bound to be a few doubles.

Anyway, this lead to the question, "Should I keep making wallpaper, even though someone has taken a dump on my good name?"

Yeah, I will. Because that good name is just a handle, and I don't even know who it was that took a dump on it.

News Flash: I don't make this stuff for other people. I do it for the pure joy of working with the pretty pictures. I'd still make it, even if I didn't have a place to post it.

That's the beauty of having the assembly files still in my hot little hands: certainty that anyone who really cares can see I made it. Let this be a lesson to you, kids:

Keep your work-in-progress files. Keep your rough drafts. Keep your original sketches.

They teach you that 1st year... but I think they should tell you in kindergarten.

Anyway, have fun and hug your kitty. It may be a little depressed right now...

I guess...
Maybe this stylus isn't entirely hopeless... when I use it like a box of crayons!

Hooray for crayons, especially the tastey ones!

A certain Kindergarten teacher preobably wouldn't approve of that.

Of course, he might not approve of me coloring his skin... but it sounds like so much fun...

a-hem.

Want me to color a black and white? Post a link to the image you want me to color...

   Oh man... There's more...
The "That Isn't Kool-Aid" series (see below) is now finished with the addition of Son Goku.

We also have a Reconstructed Sanzo, which was a cover illustration. I took off the writing, and made bits of it that were cut off or covered...

Poor guy. Why does he always get hurt? Hmm... maybe it's his bad attitude. Maybe if he was nice to people for a change...

I can hear The Fan coming...

   Getting better....
I'm making some progress, and there are a couple of new ones...

First it's Bath Time! "I said rose PETALS in the tub. Petals! Can't you guys do anything righ... um... Actually... //koff//... I guess this is fine..."

I've finished one more of the "That Isn't Kool-Aid" series... Here's Konzen Douji. This is the first one I've made today that I'm happy with.

In case you missed them, the rest of the set so far is Tenpo Gensui, who I'll happily post textless if anyone wants it; and
Kenren Taisho.

My favorite is Kenren. I love Kenren. I love his little Sephiroth-style outfit, which is no doubt a cultural thing I don't know about. I love how he claims that Goku is his bastard son (obviously not true... though likely not impossible...) to get him out of trouble. I love that he sticks up for little Nataku. I love ...

uh...

--ahem--

Sorry.

Anyway, enjoy the posts.

And hug your Kitty!
