   Gundam Wing Live Action Update!
Just a quick update:

I think I've found a live human being who could play Trowa Barton in the movie.

Jude Law

His face is virtually ideal, I'd say. And what's better, he can act!

So that brings the dream-team tally to:
Quatre Raberber Winner = Tobey Maguire
Trowa Barton = Jude Law
Treize Khushrenada = Russell Crowe
All the others are still open.

Comments? Another nominee? Think I'm out of my mind? Post below.

It's Gundam Wing... it's Cats... it's ....

disturbingly adorable.

Where is Heero-Neko?
Oyasumi...

That's enough cuteness for one day. =^@.@^=

Know of other GWing doujins that are clean? Post the links, make me happy!

   Breakfast Literati!
This article contains some great tips for "how to read the newspaper"... I read the paper every morning - with a red pen in hand, circling the countless spelling and grammer errors, underlining shamelessly biased comments, drawing arrows to the Actual Facts, often contained in quote marks in the 2nd and 3rd paragraph.

Suffice to say, our paper sucks. However, most of them do nowadays. So, what's a breakfast-literati supposed to do?

Check it out!

   Have You Seen This Chick?
... new electronic boutique moved into the next town... went to do my grocery shopping, couldn't resist... went in.

Came out with Chronotrigger, and Final Fantasies 4,5 and 6.

Don't expect to hear much from me for the next... oh... 400 hours. Thereabouts.

whoopsy!

Gundam Wing : Live Action Update!
Making a Gundam Wing Movie with Real People Actors. Please, nominate you're favorites for parts. Grow them up a little for ease of casting. Remember, Hollywood doesn't listen to you, Speilberg won't read your letters, but I will!

So far, in the imaginary movie we have cast as follows:

Quatre Raberba Winner
Tobey Maguire
-- Quatre cries a lot. So does Tobey. Keep the Spidey-Abs, a little Sun-In in the hair, I can see it.
Anyone better? Comment.

Treize Khushrenada
-- Russel Crowe. Can't think of anyone more arrogant, more pompous, yet strangely attractive. And he's got sort of wavey, longish hair.
Closest match I've got.

Zechs Merquise / Milliardo Peacecraft
-- why Why WHY isn't Rutger Hauer younger?! He would have been perfect! Big, blond, european... and a great actor. Go watch Blade Runner and you tell me he isn't perfect.
Unfortunately, he's now a little old. Know a young one? Suggest him.

Wu Fei Chang
-- No clue. Thought about Jet Li... no. Thought about Jackie Chan... while on NyQuil. Cold got better, I got a life.
Please, give me a clue, suggest someone!

Heero Yuy
-- Anyone know any Japanese face actors? Suggest a Heero!

Trowa Barton
-- Second hardest to cast for me. Perfect face, circus strong-man... One easy point, he won't have many lines... ^^;
Got a Trowa? Give me a name.

Duo Maxwell
-- ... I have no idea. I love Duo. But who could play a cute, creepy, high-energy, strangely sensible nut who refers to himself as the God of Death? The only part that makes it easier is that he's supposed to be American... the major source of actors...
Duo? Help?

None of these are set in stone. Ideas are welcome. Have fun, have it often.

   Check it Out!
If you haven't picked up any of Samurai 7 yet, go get some. It's based around Akira Kurosawa's classic tale "The Seven Samurai", which also spawned "The Magnificent Seven" of Western cinema.

This has to be the most stylish, genre-twisting anime I've seen in a long time. By way of Comparision, Cowboy Bebop takes cowboys, bounty hunters, mobsters and Ed, and puts them all in space with a style that makes it hang together. Samurai 7 takes Robots, bandits, Edo period dress, high-fashion... and of course, samurai... and makes it all beautiful.

The music is a fusion of classic Japanese rhythms ... feels like you're watching Noh sometimes... and funky jazz-rock stuff. The characters are larger than life, beautifully rendered, and persistently consistent.

If you love style, if you like fashion, if you loved the Seven Samurai, or even if you've never seen it... check it out.

Currently being subbed free for fans from Lunar and ANBU. Go get some.

   New Fan Art
From the Greatest Show on Earth... that would be the circus, for the non-Barnum and Bailey crowd... fresh new Clowns!

Once in B&W, the other in Color. Trying a new coloring method. Not sure if I like it, but hey...

Mmmm... Trowa...

Sorry, lost my thought for a moment there. Anyway, go tell me what you think of it.

   Take a Good, Hard Look.
So, I drew a few new peices, and want to experiment with a new scanning process... but the brother of the person I had housesit while I was out did some stupid things and got us a virus or 31. Have to clean the system.

I felt sorry for myself, jet-lagged and viral... then I read the paper. Do a little background reading yourself. Sudan... yeah. Sure, I have a virus because some kid covetted my broadband, but at least my neighbors didn't decide to steal my neice and kill my brother while driving me out of my house.

So, why do we obsess about anime when there are so many more important things?

Because for us Sudan may as well be on Mars.

Helplessness. Yours, mine and theirs. So who's got all the dice?
