This is Important.
I got a message in my private mailbox that someone has claimed the "Bath Time" pic of sanzo in the tub is plagarised...
This is obviously not true... since I still have the PaintShop Pro file on my computer with all the layers on it, and the brush work... hey, if anyone wants it message me and I'll send it to you email...
I ALWAYS keep the original .psp file, which is composed of layers and has some limited undo features. That way I can nick bits that I make in one for use in others. The StickKitty is one, as is the yellow Smiley I made for Tenpo. Anyway, Ladies and Gentlemen, I have never plagarised anything in my life. I have 2 years of my B.A, in English. I know what that ugly word means, and it's kind of sickening that someone somewhere thinks I have... yuck.
I'm sure hoping that someone made an honest mistake, since that paper may well look like someone else's... especially since virtually all of the wallpaper on this site is made from anime and manga images that belong to their respective corporate/artist owners. In other words, there's only so many Minekura pics of Sanzo around, there's bound to be a few doubles.
Anyway, this lead to the question, "Should I keep making wallpaper, even though someone has taken a dump on my good name?"
Yeah, I will. Because that good name is just a handle, and I don't even know who it was that took a dump on it.
News Flash: I don't make this stuff for other people. I do it for the pure joy of working with the pretty pictures. I'd still make it, even if I didn't have a place to post it.
That's the beauty of having the assembly files still in my hot little hands: certainty that anyone who really cares can see I made it. Let this be a lesson to you, kids:
Keep your work-in-progress files. Keep your rough drafts. Keep your original sketches.
They teach you that 1st year... but I think they should tell you in kindergarten.
Anyway, have fun and hug your kitty. It may be a little depressed right now...
