-When he lived in New Jersey, he used to stalk Christina Ricci, after finding out she lived nearby.

-He recently stated in an interview that as a New Year's resolution he was trying to quit smoking. However many fans have claimed to still see him smoking outside concert venues. He also smoked a cigarette during a recent interview with NME magazine.

-Marilyn Manson is furious with him for stealing his makeup style during the Taste Of Chaos Tour 2005.

-He is good friends with the band Taking Back Sunday. During The Next Big Thing Tour, Adam Lazzara sung the My Chemical Romance hit single "I'm Not Okay" for Gerard when he had a throat problem.

-His favourite band is Queen.
