Everyone cheer I finished another book.
Title: Wellspring of Chaos
By: L.E. Modesitt Jr.
Summary: It's about a cooper named Kharl. He rescues his neighbors daughter for a local lord's son, which pisses the son off. Then he takes in a blackstaffer that's been raped by the same lord(although he cannot prove it) The blackstaffer is then murdered and Kharl is going to take the fall for it, but then the Justiter's accuse his wife of it and his wife hangs. He ends up on the run from the lord's son and end up leaving his home of Brysta and travels around the world. While traveling he discovers that he is a black mage(order mage). On his path of self-discovery he becomes a ship-carpenter. Later he helps the land of Austra end a civil war between two brothers who want the thrown by killing the evil brother and his white wizards(chaos wizards).
Rating: 9/10 - It was a phenominal book, but with the ending you could tell there was going to be a sequel.
Comments: It's a phenominal book really. It's captivating and insightfull. And Modesitt has introduced us to a new type of character that he hasn't before. All his other characters were young men on a path to self-disvoery. Kharl is a middle-aged man with a consort and two boys.

Okay everyone cheer Duo's in a writing mood!! Yeah maybe I'll actually write DK (lol) Right that's funny. Oh I got this awsome book from the library called the Oxford Dictionary of Allusions, it is so phenominal. For exammple:
Alice and Wonderland has a million different allusions
Alice can be used as an allusion for Ascent and descent, Hair, Height, and Small Size.
The book can be used for Strangeness.
The Cheshire Cat can be used for Disapperances and Absences, and Smiles.
DorMouse can be used for Sleep.
Father William can be used for Old Age.
Mad Hatter can be used for Insanity.
THe Tea Party can be used for Chaos and DIsorder.
The March Hare can be used for Insanity.
And the White Rabbit can be used for Speed and Time.
And trust me if I had a scanner I'd be showing you Mexico pictures right now. I'll give them to K-chan and see if she'll be nice enought to post em for me.

So in the muscial Annie there is in fact a song called Annie. I'm murdering that song because we ran it about 10 bajillion times today. Awww why did I sign up for a musical again?
But better new, my best guy friend finally broke up with his annoying-really-needs-an-inner-monologue-girlfriend. So good news she's dead(well not literally but that's how the song goes)

Okay so I'm back. Let's see my week has been good. Not a lot of work. Got a Bio test I gotta study for (right) got death of Overboard (yeah no more three servies!) Had my one-acts on Fri and my play was the best (I directed it and everyone said it was the funniest ^^) The writer of the play was pissed though cause he wasn't able to see it. Sorry Nino ::hugs:: But someone said to him "You know how you thought it was funny when you wrote it. It was a hundred times funnier" I felt so good and I loved my cast and my actors loved me.
Got an essay to write...I think. Got two new manga and a book to add to my bookshelf. I got Cross #2 which is a phenominla manga, and Vampire Games #1 which is so funny and if I didn't want to go broke I'd buy the next 10 of them. ^^ Also I helped someone parents pick out their daughters first manga. It was so much fun. Maybe I can finally get Barnes and Noble to hire me ^^.

Wow it's depressing when no one comments. T-T no one loves me!
Oh well I'm hyper right now. In fact I've been hyper all day. Not everyone has been very happy with me today. And I've offically been diagnosed with pre-seniorities. I just don't care anymore. Not about grades, projects, theatre, church, school in general. In fact the only thing I really care about right now is reading and writing. So good for K-chan bad for me.
And if I hear the word mediocure one more time I'm going to stab something!

Hey nobody's perfect, just because I forgot my reasearch for english class doesn't mean that I'm a bad person (Or lazy right) But good news is that said English teacher also said my writing sounded like Poe's. ^^ Yeah I sound like Edgar Allen Poe ^^ phenominal in my opion. So I'm going to rewrite the story and rewrite a couple more short stories then I'm going to try and get them published or something. ^^

The Scarlet Letter

Summary: About a woman named Hester Prynne who commits adultry with the local priest(but no one knows that) and gets pregnet(let that be a lesson to you kiddies don't have sex before your married) Then Hester's husband comes back into town. He's livid that Hester has a kid and wants to know who the father is to get revenge on him. Basically it all comes down to Hester's priest lover getting a way over guilty consious and ends up worrying himself to death...literally.
7/10
I personally didn't like it. But I was annotating the death out of this thing. The story is intregging and it lets you look at who life really was back in the Puritian days. Good imagery good symbols and a sad ending. Wasn't good wasn't bad just there.
