Naruto fanfiction--chapter 3:secret crush? sukidayo? :)
Makenjii awoke to the beeping sound of her alarm clock. Slowly, she stretched, and reached for the 'off' button on the back of the clock.
The sun shone brightly through her window. As she began to get up, she stumbled. A few grunts, emerged from her mouth. She looked down and saw her ankle blackened and burned.
'It must've been from yesterday's training', she thought. Makenjii limped into her bathroom, and got out some adhesive bandages from the medicine cabinet, and carefully wrapped it around her wounded ankle.
"sensei sure does like to work us." she mumbled under her breath. She turned over her ankle, and stared at the tightly wrapped bandage. "gawd, maybe i'll take it slow today, i'm not feeling so well anyway." She got up, and put on a coat. Makenjii walked out the door, it was surprisingly snowing, 'it never snows in konoha' she muttered to herself. She walked down the path and heard a crunching noise in the background. She silently and swiftly hid behind a tree, but still examining the direction the noise was coming from. Out of the woods came Shino Aburame. "oh, it's just you shino!" Makenjii smiled, "you scared me, I thought you were like a spy or a shinobi from another country. Don't do that again!" she looked down and fidgeted with her fingers. "what're you doing here anyway? i thought you were with kiba and hinata on their mission?" she said, not looking at him. She was blushing too much to look him in the eye.
"oh? i was out doing errands for my dad. not much really. What are you doing here? You're supposed to be training with the others." he said in a stern tone of voice.
She stared at him, "I've already notified sensei. I'm not feeling well today so i'm not going." Makenjii stuck her tongue out. "There! you're not my father, so you shouldn't nag me like one!" she lingered for a moment. "well, i...have..to go." She waved and ran away. "omigawd i was about to die back there!"
