Walking in a winter wonderland...

Layout change! ^_^ Just thought I should change things up a bit around here. After all, the holidays are here. Hehe.

Well, there's not much to talk about today, really. I played Zelda for a couple of hours and played catch with my cousin. ^_^ I'm maximizing this free time of mine mostly on just relaxing and lounging around. My friends should be coming over tomorrow to hang out at my house, but I'm not even sure what time they'll be coming. *laughs* ^_^;;

Um, yup, that's all I can say today. This layout change was a lot of fun to make, though. ^_^ I was just sitting around the computer for a few minutes, browsing through some sites, and then I thought of changing the theme to go with the holidays. Hehe. Hope you guys like it!

Time of post: 10:11 pm of December 20th

'Tis the season to be jolly...

*laughs* I swear that came out of nowhere. ^_^;; Hehe. Howdy, folks! It must be surprising to see me around these parts, however, the time to laze around has finally come, so I'm here. Heh. ^_~

Yes, 'tis the season to be jolly for there will be no school for at least two and half more weeks thus allowing for more free time. ^_^ The down side? I have four major projects to finish by the end of these two weeks or I'm seriously in trouble. >_> Good thing one of them is a group project otherwise I'll be dead tired before the break is over.

My usual complaints about school aside, how are you guys doing? I hope you are all doing well this holiday season. ^_^ May your celebrations be as wonderful as it can be and I hope you guys enjoy yourselves. By the way, I apologize for not being here on Thanksgiving. It was the first time I missed greeting everyone for Thanksgiving in the three years I've been here, so I kind of ruined that tradition of mine. ^_^ However, holiday cards are, of course, in order. Expect them at their usual delivery time. ^_~ Hehe.

Anyway, all I really wanted was to drop by and say hello again. I know it's been a while, but you guys know my story. ^_^ Thankfully, though, my winter break has begun (two days ago, actually) and I finally have some time to spare. I'm just using as much of it as I can to have some fun and catch up on my anime. ^_^ Hee hee.

Oh! Guess what I did last weekend! I slept outside of BestBuy to get the Nintendo Wii. *laughs* That was a lot of fun and a very memorable experience. ^_^ My mom and dad were there with me, and we had a cot and everything. It was crazy, hehe. ^_^ It was really cold that night too. I was shivering so much by 2 am. We stayed in line for about 10 hours, because we actually got inside the store by 8 am. We camped out around 10 pm the night before.

We finally got it a month after its release. We would've gotten it sooner but every store had less than 20 consoles for sale and we missed our chance to buy them every time they had a shipment. Luckily, we got one before Christmas, and this shipment was the last one for the year. ^_^ It's so much fun to play with. I'm currently obsessed with Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. ^_~

Wow, listen to me babble here. Okay, well, I should be done for today. ^_^ It was really nice to get back here. I missed everyone so much! *hugs really tightly* Take care, you guys! Have an awesome day!

Time of post: 9:41 pm of November 11th

*singing some random song... probably way out of tune* Hee hee. =^__^=

Well, it's me again. ^_^ Hehe. It's been a while, I know... I can't help it these days, though. School has just been hectic to the point that I don't even have enough time to sleep. *laughs* I'm probably going to get scolded for that. ^_^;; But that's life for me right now. I just have to find a way to deal with it, ne? ^_^ Heh.

In case you were wondering, I just happened to drop by out of the blue because I had some time to spare. ^_^ Since it's a long weekend, I have a few hours dedicated only to lazing around. Most of it is for Calculus homework, though. Hehe.

Anyway, how are your weekends going so far? Hopefully it's been fun. ^_^ Mine got off on a pretty good start. Yesterday, my friends and I threw my best friend a surprise birthday party at my house. It was really fun. I had told her that a couple of friends were coming over to work on our Chemistry project, which was the truth although we didn't get anything done, and that she should come along since we didn't have school. The friends I invited came early in the morning to help set up and the birthday girl came around noon. We succeeded in surprising her, for which I was very relieved, and we had a blast. I have the craziest friends. ^_^ For some odd reason, we ended up having an open mic session. My friends were singing and dancing to some tunes and just acting crazy... and I caught it all on tape! *laughs* ^_^ I was laughing so much when I was watching it.

And so ends yesterday. It was great that my friends and I actually had some time to just have fun. Between our work loads, I know we all deserved it. ^_^ And it was a good way to release some stress, even though we still have to work on that Chemistry project at some point. ^_^ Heh.

Today was reserved for homework, of course, since my Calculus teacher gave so much of it. After all that's happened, it's time to get some work done. ^_^ I hope your weekends were as fun-filled as mine. I'm glad I had the chance to post again today. I miss all of you so much! ^__^ *hugs tightly*

Time of post: 10:47 pm of October 3rd

Hello again! ^_^ Miracle, ne? I'm actually here twice in a row. Hehe. Hopefully I'll get to do this more often. It's nice to feel like I actually have time to spare these days. *laughs* ^__^ Seriously, though, it's awesome to be posting again.

Ah, before I ramble on about my day, I would just like to send some super tight hugs to the most wonderful friends you can find on theO! ^__^ You guys are the absolute best! I love you all to bits! Hee hee. *hugs tightly* Thank you very much for those heart-warming comments. I missed them. ^_^ Reading your comments was a great way to end a great day. Hehe. I just had to say it. ^_^

Right, moving along... today was one of those rarely good days out of the week that I miraculously get. ^_^ In the morning, however, it didn't seem that way at all. I woke up late so I had to get everything together really quickly, but my cousin and my sister simply took their sweet time getting ready, and thus we ended up coming to school later than we usually do. I ended up running to my first class, which is Calculus by the way, because if I was ever late, my teacher would be... really mad about it. Big understatement. *laughs* ^_^;; Anyway, that was probably the worst thing that happened today other than that History test that I wasn't too confident about. x_X

The rest of my day went fairly smoothly, especially during sixth period, as we had our Home game today. ^_^ Our team won an easy victory, but a very close one during the first set. It was nerve-wracking. Hehe. Our setter served 11 times in a row during the second one! How awesome was that! ^__^ I was very proud of her. And that's how my day at school ended. When I got home, I did homework and then logged in here. ^_^ Heh. That's about it.

My day has ended on a very positive note, so I'm happy. ^_^ Thank you again to everyone who has stopped by. It means a lot to me. *hugs* Well, I better get going. Being able to spare a couple of hours before midnight is a good things for me. ^_^ I have to get some more sleep! So, take care, you guys! Have a fantastic day! Longing for a purpose... I think.

Hello! ^_^ I seem to have found some free time out of this hectic school year, so here I am, finally posting after... two months now, right? Heh. So, how have you guys been? I hope you are all doing well and not as stressed out as I have been since school started. *giggles* It seems weird to find that funny... *laughs* ^__^;;

Aaahh... I can't seem to find anything to talk about. Um, regarding school, I'm hanging in there. I'm taking Calculus this year, which started off fairly easily, but it has definitely picked up its pace and I'm starting to get confused with some of the concepts we have to know. I just have to keep my focus in that class and I should do fine. ^_^

However, having league games for volleyball twice a week has taken its toll on me a bit. I didn't think it would be as exhausting as I thought it would. Games and practices have limited my study time so I end up doing homework past 12 midnight almost everyday now. ^_^;; It's quite exhausting. But as I said, I'm hanging in there. I just have to manage my time wisely. ^_^

Heh. Other than that, things are going well. I'm really thankful that I don't have school tomorrow because I have so much homework to finish. ^_^;; My other classes are manageable, for which I am very grateful, and I'm having a lot of fun in them. My Chemistry teacher is just hilarious. On the first day of class, he did a little fireworks show for us. It was pretty interesting, but a tad scary since sparks were flying everywhere on his desk... where there were stacks of paper surrounding the display... ^_^;; Yeah...

Anyway, that has been my life since school started. I'm just trying to do the best I can juggling studies, volleyball, and various other extracurricular activities. ^_^ Busy bee... Hehe. Oh, but I still find some time to just relax, don't worry. I can't function at all if I don't spare a few minutes to nap or to just sit outside in our backyard and take in the fresh air. ^_^ Relaxing is still part of my schedule, heh.

Okay, I probably bore you all to death by now. Hehe. There's not much else I can talk about. ^_^ So I guess I should end this. It was great to get a chance to stop by again. I miss you guys so much! *hugs everyone tightly* Take care and have a fantastic week ahead! ^.^

Time continues to pass us by...

Wow! Here we are again. ^_^ Another year of myO has passed by, albeit a very inactive one, but nonetheless, myO has stood for 3 years now. It's incredible. ^_^ In all honesty, I haven't stuck to any blogs or websites for as long as I've stayed here in myO. I'm very proud to be a part of this wonderful community, and I hope to be a more active member very soon. ^_^ Heh. Before I forget, I just want to thank everyone who has supported me this past year. I know I wasn't around for most of it, but I am very grateful for everything my friends have done for me. You guys are the best. I hope to repay your kindness and friendship someday, and I hope to do so ten-fold. ^_^ Every one of you deserve that. *hugs everybody super tightly* So, once again, thank you and I hope we'll have many more years here in myO to share with each other. ^__^ Good luck, best wishes, and more power to theOtaku.com. Well, that's pretty much all that I really wanted to say. ^_^;; The "thank you's" were definitely in order. Oh, and I just wanted to present the semi-layout change... yeah. ^_^ Hehe. It's just a greener version of the last one. I wanted to keep the black theme going since it worked really nicely, but I also wanted to keep with my anniversary tradition of chaning the layout to something green... and this is what came of it. ^_^ I hope it looks okay. I'm having a lot of trouble with the intro, though. Argh.

Time of post: 2:33 pm of July 26th

Just trying to get by...

It's such a random subject, ne? ^_^ Hehe. Anyway, how are you guys doing today? I had some spare time so I decided to drop by again. I was going to post yesterday but I had a report due for my class, so I had to finish that first. ^_^;; *sigh* So much work to do, so very little time...

First off, I want to thank the people who stopped by when I last posted. That was really sweet. And you guys remembered my birthday. ^_^ *hugs tightly* Thank you very much. All the birthday wishes were greatly appreciated.

I had a lot of fun celebrating my birthday. I just had a little party at my house with my family and friends. We had Japanese food catered and a really sweet chocolate mousse cake. It was REALLY sweet. ^_^;; My friends and I hung out after eating. We played Super Smash Bros. Melee because two of my friends were dead set on playing it and embarrassing me since they were so good. *laughs* ^_^ We just hung out for two hours until we had to leave for the bowling alley. Everyone enjoyed themselves with bowling. ^_^ Everything's hilarious when I bowl with my friends. We're a bunch of crazy bowlers. Hehe. We got to play 6 games in the two hours we were there. After that, we all went back to my house and hung out some more. We played more Melee and Warioware, and I got my friend to play DDR. ^_^ Playing Warioware with my friends was crazy. We were laughing our butts off. Hehe. And that was it. ^_^ This was one of the best birthdays I've celebrated.

So yeah. That was how I celebrated. But sadly, I couldn't stay in fun birthday mode for long because I had to work on a report for my Math class as well as a long homework / midterm assignment thing. I ended up staying up until 3 am just trying to finish them. >_< It was horrible. And it was Monday the day after that so it made things worse. *deep sigh* But what can you do? ^_^;;

Oh well, at least it's over and done with. Or so I thought. As soon as Monday rolled around, my class had another report due the next day, and then another one just yesterday. On the report I did on Monday, my Mom got really mad at me for staying up until 5 am. She was scolding me pretty harshly because I had been staying up so late and waking up only an hour later every time for school. ^_^;; She was right in scolding me, though. I started feeling sick and dizzy in class because I wasn't sleeping well, and I had volleyball practice after that yesterday. Imagine how drained I felt when I got home. =_=

But at least things are starting to calm down again. ^_^ My Math class has demanded so much of me this past week so I'm trying to even up my time in a way that I don't have to spend so much time on one homework assignment. ^_^

Sorry. I just had to let that out somehow. I think I'm stressed out to the point where my body can't handle it anymore. ^_^;; I'm trying to take things as they come and trying very hard to do them without having to stay up so late at night. So, wish me luck on that. Heh. ^_^ On the bright side, however, I have an A in my class right now. At the very least, my work is paying off, right? ^_^

Okay, that's about all I have for today. I better get started on my homework because I'm about to fall asleep from the heat. ^_^;; Cali's weather is way too much sometimes. It's been 100+ degrees here since summer started. Ick.

Time of re-post: 10:28 pm of July 21st

The computer shut down on me... -_-;; I had a welcome back post all typed up here, and then the computer decided to be mean...

Anyway, it's wonderful to be back at myO. ^_^ I just skimmed through the comments from my last post and it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Hehe. *grabs everyone and hugs them tightly* I missed you guys so much! ^.^

I'm usually here during the summer and commenting as much as possible, but this year I decided to take up a summer class to get ahead with my Math. It started three weeks ago, and let's just say, I'm barely hanging in there. The class itself is rigorous, but the 4 to 5 hours of homework a day just takes the cake. It gets more and more stressful each day as we tackle new things, but that's what I get for taking the class over the summer. ^_^;; *sigh*

[rant:] I only slept an hour and half since yesterday because I had to finish 6 assignments for my class. I stayed up until 5 am finishing them all, and what does my teacher do? He collects 1 out of the 6, and chooses the one assignment I actually finished before 12 midnight. x____X [/rant]

Though, now that I think about it, I guess doing all six assignments was safer than taking that risk of not having all of them and not knowing which one my teacher was going to collect... yeah.

Right, moving on. How have you guys been? How are your summer breaks so far? I certainly hope everything is going well with everyone. As you can tell, my summer is just crazy and stressful with the work I have to do in my class. On top of that, I have summer work for AP U.S. History and Volleyball practice. (Oh yeah! I made Junior Varsity for Volleyball! ^__^ I finally stuck to trying out for a team this coming school year. It's exciting!) And there's a little insight to my hectic summer. I envy those of you who have time to go to the beach everyday. ^_^ Hehe. How I wish for some more free time.

I'm really impressed with how much this site has grown. And all those associated with the amazing progress of theO, congratulations! ^_^ You are all doing such incredible work. I also caught sight of the Art of Otaku site. That was just awesome! ^_^ I'm greatly looking forward to the Tee that's being made too. ^__^

Heh, this is getting pretty long, ne? I didn't think I'd be typing up this much. Just shows how long I haven't been here. I missed thinking up pointless babble and rants to post about. ^_^

I suppose that's all I have to say for now. Hopefully I can make a second trip back here soon, and many more to come after that. ^_^ Thank you very much to those who commented on my last post and to the visitors of my little site. It's a great feeling to know that the friends I've made here are as true and awesome as they come. ^_~

(Um, I don’t really know where that came from.) Hello everyone! ^__^ Hehe. First of all, Happy Valentine’s Day! It may be Single’s Awareness Day for some and it may be considered as a Hallmark holiday, but try to have fun you guys! Enjoy the day when chocolate is given away for free. *laughs* ^_^ Sweets for sweets, ne?

Anyway, how are you guys? It took me a little over two weeks to get back, but thankfully I made it right in time for Valentine’s Day. ^_^ I really miss out on a lot here, so I at least wanted to wish you guys a lovely day today. I also wanted to lay out some plans I have in store for this lil’ ole’ site of mine. ^_^ Mainly for my use, so just skip the following paragraph. Hehe. *hugs everyone tightly* I missed you guys by the way! ^.^

Okay, so let’s see here. A layout change should be in order soon. It probably won’t be done in a while, though. I’m still really into this layout. ^_^ Birthday greeting cards will officially return on March and hopefully continue on from there. Posting frequently will be my most important goal this year, as well as commenting on sites again. I’ll definitely figure out a way to do that. ^_^;; Um, what else? Oh, I’m going to do something about that guestbook. It’s filled with unanswered entries and I really have to do something about that. PMs aren’t a problem, as I have answered recent ones already. I’m hoping to be more active in submissions too. And I guess that’s all I can think of for now.

Wow… aren’t you glad you skipped that? ^_^ Haha. I’m not even sure I’ll be able to do all that. But I will try very hard to get back into the commenting and posting circle. ^_^ Wish me luck.
