'Tis the season for... Hmmm...

*poofs out of nowhere* Tada! ^__^ Hello! Hehe, I guess this means I'm back again. I truly am sorry for not coming here for most of January. It has been a hectic month. Mid-terms just finished today and the semester is ending in about two days. I'm sure you guys know how end-of-semester things usually go. ^_^;; But at last, I am done with everything. No more Fall semester stuff to bother with for the time being. Alas, the Spring semester starts on Monday, so the hectic-ness starts right back up again. How cruel. =_= Hehe, oh well.

Anyway, I am so glad to be back! I missed you guys! ^.^ *hugs everyone tightly* So, how have all of you been? Hopefully everything's going well. It's the first of the month again. How time flies, ne? ^_^ Speaking of which, I should have a couple of banners up for this month. I'm also thinking of a layout change soon. Although I'll really miss this whole celestial theme. It's by far my favorite one. ^_^ Birthday banners should start up again. I owe you guys that much.

Um, what else to talk about... Oh! Thank you for those who still stop by here and who commented on my last post. ^_^ *hugs them* I appreciate the gesture very much. You guys are the best! I promise I'll try to stop by sites again soon. I haven't gone to anyone's site ever since the school year started. >_< Sorry! I did drop by a couple of times, but that doesn't really count for much, does it? So, I will try and do that as soon as possible. ^_^

Okay, I guess that would be it for today. I really don't know what else to talk about. Other than school, I'm sitting at home trying not to stress out or get some sleep. ^_^;; *sigh* Boring, I know. The only interesting thing I try to do frequently is read manga or watch anime every now and then.

*hugs everyone tightly* It's very nice to hear from you guys again. ^__^ Thank you to everyone who sent me a PM for New Year's Day and to those who stopped by and commented. That was a wonderful surprise. ^_^ *hugs again* To wrap up this holiday season, I hope you all had a fantastic celebration! This new year will become great if you make it so. So... just keep on having fun and enjoying every day. ^_^

The new year has arrived!

*hugs everyone super tightly* Happy New Year!!! Let us all welcome 2006 with wonderful expectations. ^__^ It's a brand new year so we might as well start from scratch, right? No more worrying about whatever it was that happened in 2005. Hehe. ^_^;; I wish you all a most amazing, spectacular and unbelievable new year!

Haha, okay, I have to calm down. ^_^ I guess drinking 4 glasses of apple cider is enough to get me hyper. *laughs* Anyway, I hope all your New Year's Eve celebrations are going well or went well. My family and I just had a litte get-together tonight and awaited the countdown. ^_^ Our dinner was rushed this year but it tasted delicious. We also watched a movie while eating. "That Thing You Do!" was showing around 9 pm so we had a little dinner and a movie thing going on.

(I absolutely adore this movie!) ^.^ It came out when I was six years old and my Mom told me that my cousin and I used to sing along with the music everytime she watched the movie. It's one of my favorites. ^__^ I remember buying the cassette tape of the soundtrack about 6 or 7 years ago now. Ah, what fond memories. I just remembered how handsome Tom Everett Scott was in that movie too. ^_^ Hee hee.

[Whoa, I really am hyper.] Moving along, we're tuning in to the countdown in New York. I'd really love to go to Times Square for New Year's Day one of these years. ^_^ That'd be awesome! But enough about that. *apparently still hyper* ^.^

Okie dokie! One last thing to end this great year... I am truly grateful to everyone here in myO! Thank you all so much! I love you guys! ^.^ *hugs tightly* I wish you all the absolute best in everything that you take on and best of luck in all that you guys do. Don't forget that there are people out there who care about you and support you, so never lose hope and never give up. ^__^ I look forward to another grand year here in myO, with all its ups and downs ^_~, and I look forward to all the new memories I will hopefully make here again. And so time passes once again...

*runs up and hugs everyone super tightly* ^___^ Aww, I miss you guys so much! It really has been way too long. I came here a couple of times last week but I wasn't sure what to say so I ended up leaving without a word. ^_^;; I apologize though. I'm sorry I haven't been around as often as I used to.

My inactivity these past few months has really been bothering me. I don't know what to say about it anymore. As you know, I'm busy so long as school is in session, but now, even when I'm on vacation, I still have projects and assignments to do. *sigh* Whatever little free time I manage to get, I spend with my family going on trips. It doesn't leave me with much to spend here. Not like before. -_- Gomen. Grr... okay, forget that. Enough about that from me.

Anyway, I'm back and I'm glad to be back. ^_^ Though I'll only be around when I can, at least I'm trying to get my stuff together for myO again. A post every week or so should be a nice place to start, ne? ^_^

Okay, on to the main point of this post. ^^ I came to say Happy Holidays to all of you! I know I'm a bit late with the celebrations that have passed, sorry about that, but I hope you guys had a wonderful time with your friends and family. *hugs tightly* As for the coming new year, I wish you all an incredible 2006 filled with joy and prosperity. ^__^

There she goes again...

(Yes... I might be singing that line. ^_^) Hehe, hello again! I apologize for completely forgetting myO this weekend. It was utter chaos. Especially since I procrastinated on homework again. I waited until Sunday to do it, heh, but at least it was just regular homework. No big projects or anything. ^_^ (Saved!) I can't really remember the rest of that weekend, maybe because of my sleep deprivation, but I believe we just stayed at home. Saturday's a blur to me right now. ^_^

Anyway, on to the brand new school week ahead. *deep sigh* Let us welcome an oh-so-dreadful week. Even though I sound really hyper right now, I'm stressing out a bit because I have an in-class essay to write tomorrow for Biology. I'm pretty much trying to escape from reality as of now. Or just trying to clear my head. Whichever applies. ^_^;; Simply put, I need to study... but I'm not. Darn my unfocused mind right now.

So, how was your return from Thanksgiving break? Not as horrible as mine, I hope. Monday was absolutely awful, wasn't it? I couldn't even get out of bed. ^_^;; Heh. But, since it's almost the middle of the week, I'm almost back up to speed with the daily tortures of school. ^_^ Mwahahahaha! Oh yeah, I'm losing it.

Really, this is just pointless babble. I'm still procrastinating with my studying... which, of course, is bad. Unfortunately, my brain won't cooperate. ^__^ Oi... sugar rush... (Too much orange juice, I think.)

Mission complete!

Phew! Thanksgiving sales really take a lot out of you. ^_^;; As planned, my family and I went shopping at 5 in the morning. We left the house around 5:15 am, thinking we weren't too late, but as soon as we got to Fry's, the parking lot was packed and almost all the items in there were gone. It was crazy! @_@ People were lined up for check out all throughout the store, and that store was huge. You couldn't even pass by anywhere without people thinking you were cutting in front of them. >_< But I survived another year of chaos and brought back a few things for myself too. ^_^ Hehe.

The only bothersome aspect of today was the fact that I didn't get any sleep. Since we finished Thanksgiving dinner around midnight and my family had to wake up at 4:30 am for the sales, I decided to just stay awake until we finished shopping. ^_^;; So, as of now, I've been awake for about 33 hours. Hehe. Yes, I know it's very bad. I'll keep this short so I can get to bed. ^__^ The fact that I also have to wake up at 6 am tomorrow for tennis makes it even more frustrating. I can choose not to go, though, but I really want to play. It's been so long since I last played tennis with my Dad. ^_^;; Rawr! Don't worry, I'm sure I won't pass out from exhaustion. ^^

In case you're wondering what I did after we got back from shopping instead of just sleeping... well, I was somewhat extra hyper that afternoon so I did a bunch of stuff with my cousins. ^_^ We played DDR, Twister, volleyball, football, and we even drew on the sidewalk with chalk. It was so much fun! ^.^ I'm guessing I still had plenty of energy left for this week. Hehe.

A little late, aren't I?

Hehe, I guess I broke my string of posts early. ^_^;; I apologize for not stopping by earlier today or yesterday. I wanted to come right when I got home yesterday, but I fell asleep. ^_^ I guess those three days of school took a lot out of me. I was hoping to come today too, but then again, I had a busy afternoon helping prepare for dinner. ^^;;

Anyway, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! ^.^ *hugs everyone tightly* Mine went great. My family and I went over to my aunt's house and celebrated there. I think the best part of the night was playing Twister with my cousins. ^_^ It was so much fun. We got ourselves into some pretty painful positions. Hehe. My back is still hurting from it. Afterwards, we went home and... that's about it. ^_^

The next part of the celebration would be participating in the annual Thanksgiving sales. Like last year, we'll be waking up at 5 am to go shopping. ^_^;; I'm not really sure how many people will be going this year, but I bet you it'll be chaos in every mall again. Should be fun! *laughs nervously*

Hm, what else can I say... Oh! Thank you again to everyone who came by on Tuesday. ^_^ *hugs* I appreciate all your comments. They were very sweet.

Well, I guess that's all from me today. I know I still owe November celebrants a birthday banner. I'll get to that, hopefully before the month ends. ^_^;; Then I have to make the December one. And a holiday one too. My, my... I will be very busy. ^_^ Oh well, I miss spending time on my banners, and they're for my awesome friends too, so it's definitely worth it.

In the middle of doing Math homework...

*takes a really deep breath* I needed a break. ^_^;; Mathematics has never been my strongest point, but I'm doing my best. At least I think so, hehe. It's making a lot more sense now that's for sure. ^_^;;

Anyway, this is a nice surprise. I'm here twice in one week, consecutively too. Cool. ^_^ I'm not really sure what to say right now, but just so I won't forget it and go on with my pointless ramblings, I want to say thank you to those who commented on my last post. ^_^ That was really touching. *huggles them* I missed you guys so much! In all honesty, I didn't expect any since I haven't been around. Hehe. *laughs* I'll probably get scolded for that remark... =P

Um, school went well today. ^_^ The day seemed slow and dragging, but some Tuesdays are like that. The day started out pretty awesome actually, but my gym teacher had to destroy it, of course. >_> That was the only horrible point of the day so it wasn't that bad. ^_^;; Oi, I complain too much. Right... aside from that, everything else went smoothly. School's becoming more and more bearable now and things are slowing down so I'm thankful for that. I can't be too comfortable with this rate though since its all preparation for the upcoming torture of AP Biology and the rest of my classes. *sigh* Oh well, I'll just have to wait and see, won't I? ^__^

Ah, I don't want to make this too long. Let's see, all that I have left to say is that I still owe November celebrants a birthday banner and I need to make one for Thanksgiving too. ^_^ I haven't used Photoshop in a while so I'll have fun experimenting again. And... that's about it. (I'm still getting reacquainted here. Hehe. ^_^)

And second, was last Saturday's Ghost in the Shell the premiere of the sequel? Again, [as]'s schedule did not give me answers. I believe Samurai Champloo is back to airing new episodes, ne? ^^

Phew, I think that pretty much covers it all. Sorry. I was just really confused with the new schedule. ^_^;;

Oh my, it has been a very long time since I was last here, ne? I truly am sorry. I suppose there is no other way to explain my lack of activity other than the usual reason. School has been more hectic than ever. I miss being a freshman, with only very few things to worry about... *sigh* ^_^;; Sadly, the life of this sophomore is only just beginning and the next few months is bound to drive me insane. Hehe.

Anyway, enough complaints from me. I miss all of you so, so much! Though I've stopped by a couple of times over the past few months since school started, I really have been away from you guys for quite a while. I can't even remember the last time I left a comment on someone's site... >_< Argh. I feel terrible. Not only have I been inactive, I've completely forgotten about myOtaku and all of my friends here. Again, school work is to blame, as well as my stubborness for choosing to stay at a school two hours away from my house instead of one just a block away. (Don't bother asking. =_=) To put it simply, because I chose to stay in my previous school, I have to endure a two-hour bus ride home every day of the week, which, if you can imagine, leaves very little time for me to even just sit down and relax. Not to worry, however, since I'm pretty much used to it. ^_^;; It just doesn't give me as much free time as I want.

Wow, that was pretty long. ^_^ I guess I'm trying to get reacquainted with myO right now. After how many weeks of not even coming by, what can you expect? (So I apologize if this gets a little random and crazy.)

Bah, that's it. Enough out of me. How are you guys doing? I hope everything's been great so far. Believe me, I know how busy students can be at this time of the year. ^_^ Just don't forget to slow down sometimes and take a deep breath. That should be a little helpful. It works for me. Hehe.

Ah, I just remembered that Thanksgiving is coming up. I wish you all a most wonderful time! ^.^ *hugs everyone super tightly* Aw, I miss this. Enjoy the short break from school and work too!

Time of post: 12:44 am of October 2nd

There is always a light in the darkness of heart...

*appears out of nowhere* Hello! ^___^ *runs up and hugs everyone really tightly* I miss you guys!! It's been forever since I was last here. (Yes, forever is two weeks in my world. ^_^) How are all of you doing?

*sigh* It really feels like I haven't been here in so long. Two weeks can feel like quite a while. Luckily, though, it doesn't seem that way when I'm at school. For some bizarre reason, time actually goes at a normal rate there. ^_^ Hehe.

Anyway, just so I can get all the school stuff out of the way, here's what I've been doing since I last visited:
o Got an English project that's due this coming Friday and status is nowhere near completion.
o AP Biology class is becoming very troublesome and difficult.
o The weather here in Cali is at 85-90 degrees and rising by the day.
o Club Day at my school was held last Thursday; joined the Anime and Manga Club this year. ^_^ (Hehe.)
o [rant] English class is becoming less interesting and has completely lost any indications of difficulty or challenge. [end rant] I feel sorry for my English teacher this year. My classmates are horrible and very disrespectful to him. If only I could move out of that class and into any of the other ones he teaches...
o I am panicky and stressed out this weekend because I have a Biology unit exam on Monday, an outline for one of the chapters due on Monday, and an essay to write that is due on Friday. (Leaves very little to no time at all for anything else.) *sigh*
o But otherwise, it's been a lot of fun. ^_^ To my surprise, of course.

*deep breath* Okay, that's about everything that happened in the last two weeks. ^_^ Oh, I had the chance to watch Naruto today. I didn't have time for it last weekend so I recorded it and watched that episode and yesterday's. I'm still happy with the fact that they use the word "Sensei", but Naruto's continuous use of "Believe it!" is starting to get annoying. He said it countless times in yesterday's episode! >_< I'm wondering about Sakura's voice a lot these days. She's supposed to sound mature and intelligent in the upcoming episodes, but there's no hint of it in these last four episodes. *sigh* I'm still undecided with Sasuke's voice. At some point I actually find it good, and then it turns horrible, and then somewhat decent. Er, I'm not sure yet. Last comment goes to Kakashi's voice. It sounds so creepy for some reason. It's probably because he talks slow with a deep voice. The laziness of his voice is there, but it doesn't suit his personality like it does in the Japanese version. And those scenes where he just pops up out of nowhere makes him look and sound even creepier. ~_~ I'm just hoping it'll get better from here.

On a related but random note, our school newspaper published an article on the premiere of Naruto in North America and I found out that Viz only licensed a quarter of the entire show. I think that's around 39 episodes. I'm assuming they have about 10 months covered with that. (Unless I did my math wrong. ^_^;;)

Moving along... It's the second month of my layout so that means it's time to replace it. ^_^ I chose black for my color scheme this month. I've always wanted to use it but I never thought of a theme that would match it. A month ago, however, I found a picture of a galaxy, made it all neat and spiffy on Photoshop, and used it as my background. It all started from there. This layout also marks the first time I’ve ever changed my font color and border color. I had always used black for those. Hehe. ^_^ I hope you guys like it. As always, comments and suggestions are most welcome.

Oh yeah, I just wanted to make a comment on the music. I finally changed it after all these months. It's from Gravitation, a series I haven't seen before but have heard of by word of mouth. A friend of mine introduced me to some of the songs they had on the vocal collection and they were fantastic. ^_^ Some of them even reminded me of songs from Saiyuki, which I happen to love. Hehe. So, yeah, just thought I'd mention that.

One last note, I'm sorry if the introduction is a little... bleh. I was trying to think of something else to do with it, but I didn't have much time to work on it. I forgot that it was the first yesterday and that I had to change layouts this month. ^_^;; I had to sneak in a couple of hours yesterday to make it and the avatar too. Hopefully it doesn't look that bad.

[random thought bubbles:] Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children will be released around November. ^_^ I can't wait! It should be quite a show. There's also an OVA called Final Fantasy VII: Last Order. Animesuki has it if you are interested in downloading it. They said it might not be released in North America. I already have the OVA but I haven't watched it. I'm waiting for Advent Children to come out. ^_^ I saw the beginning though and it's an anime! The movie's going to be CG, right? It was very intriguing to see Zack and Cloud as anime characters. ^_~
