Time of post: 5:36 pm of January 10th
Oh! Look who's here! Hehe. ^_^ This is the first time I'll be posting on a school day. *laughs* That's quite a change from last year. ^^;;
Hm, I just got home 30 minutes ago. The bus got us at our stop surprisingly early today. That's a good sign. ^_^
Anyway, I had a fantastic time at school! ^_^ As weird as it sounds, I really did. My aunt actually told us not to go today because there was a tornado warning issued somewhere near the school. We pass by the freeway that might be affected too, so she was very worried. She tried contacting the school office to check if we really did have school, but no one answered until about 7:15 am. We left the house around that time. It takes us about 30-45 minutes to get to school, and that's only without the traffic. But as usual, Cali's freeways are packed, some were even closed because of the weather, so we got to school late.
I thought that would dampen the day already, but to my surprise, the school was letting all the late students go to their classes without tardy slips. ^_^ That was great! Hehe. When I got to my first period, the teacher wasn't there. She came 10 minutes later because she had car troubles.
The rest of the day went well too. And I had fun. The worst thing about today would have to be the weather. I mean, I like the rain and all, but having to walk almost a mile (*exaggerating*) from my 3rd period class to my 4th with this kind of weather... bad. ^_^;; (But it is far!)
And that's how my first day back went. I'm glad this day didn't go as badly as I thought it would. Again, I'm sure all your well wishes helped in that. ^_^ *hugs everyone tightly* Thanks!
Ah, one more thing. As predicted, I have homework today. But not that many. I only have to do two easy ones. ^_^ Yay! I'll try and come back when I'm done. *hugs again*
